Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Buren

We have been here on a short vacation with 2 families. A great home where a lot of attention has been paid to the styling. The bedrooms are spacious and it is very nice that there is 1 on the ground floor (for my parents who are a little less mobile). We had good weather and enjoyed the lovely garden and veranda. The bus stop and Lidl are both around the corner, this is really around the corner so that is ideal and you can walk there. Another nice tip, opposite the house there is also a playground.

We had a very relaxing 5 nights. Kees and Karen were impeccable hosts, laidback and always helpful. We didn't come by car, but it's easy to get into Utrecht either by bus or tram. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Bart and Carole's guest house. They were very warm and welcoming and really happy we were there. They were very reachable if had questions or issues. They even arranged a full cleaning half way through our stay for a fee for the cleaner. The unit was perfect for us, a party of two, for three weeks, a home away from home. It was walkable to shopping, dining, and the grocery store, great location. When we come back to the Netherlands we will be checking on the availability of this wonderful home.

A wonderfully peaceful getaway! The location was just what we needed to relax and unwind. A huge bonus was the fantastic sauna – the perfect way to end a day of lovely long walks in the surrounding woods. We were so pleased to find a place that was genuinely dog-friendly, and our furry friend had a brilliant time exploring and hanging out in the front garden. We would highly recommend this gem for a tranquil retreat!

Ewart and Natalija are great hosts, they were super friendly and helpful, always easy to reach. The house is as on the pictures. Very clean and comfortable, there's everything you would need. It's surrounded by plenty of cute farms and there is a beautiful lake about 20 minutes away walking. If you come in the colder months, I would suggest to bring warm clothing to be at home and slippers, as it gets cold at night.

If you are wanting to stay anywhere in this area, this amazing home is the place to be. The location is in the heart of the beautiful historic village. The home is stocked as well as you would want your own to be. The beds are very comfortable and the view upstairs is like something out of a storybook, and considering the extent that this historic farmhouse has been restored and re-imagined... it is. The furnishing and decor should be in a magazine. From Corrie’s warm welcome and the apple tart on arrival to coffee and meals on the patio with a lovely view of the church tower, we had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Easy walking and biking distance to the working windmill, delicious restaurants, ice cream, and the ferries. Quite a highlight of our time in the Netherlands. Would love to come back, beautiful house!

We look back on a lovely week in Huis Ewijk. We have 3 labradors (13.5 , 11 and 5 years) and a complete and solid fenced garden is therefore very important to us and that is definitely the case here. The house is very beautiful, tastefully and cozily decorated, exactly as in the pictures. Really everything has been thought of, really nothing is missing here to be able to make it a nice holiday. Upon entering the house, we were immediately pleasantly surprised by all kinds of delicacies on the table and in the fridge that Justin and Carleen (nice and attentive hosts) had prepared. Besides, not only we were surprised, there were also sweets ready for the doggies and 3 delicious pillows. The beds (really good nice beds) were already made and there are plenty of towels ready. The windows are easy to black out with roller blinds and there are mosquito screens everywhere. In any case, it is worth repeating for us, we'd love to come back again!

We really enjoyed the cottage with lots of privacy. The tranquility, the beautiful park, a beautiful area where you can enjoy cycling with the bikes that are at the cottage. Alan and Karin are so welcoming and we felt terribly spoiled with everything that was ready. We haven't actually been received anywhere yet. It is certainly subject to repetition for us!

Booked one day in advance. Peter was super responsive and we had a very good time. The communication was great and enjoyed the house.

We had a great girls' weekend at the place! There were 8 of us and the house is very large and spacious with several bedrooms and bathrooms. The open living area with kitchen and dining area was very nice. The pool house is the highlight of the accommodation! The garden is also very beautiful and we could use it alone. As a small note, the direct neighbors should be mentioned, but you could not hear the music in the house outside at all when all the doors are closed. Overall, I highly recommend the accommodation and we would go back.

We stayed for a week with a family of four. There was ample space for everyone, and we never got in each other's way. The house is exactly like the pictures and we had a wonderful time. Anja was very responsive and pretty much answered all our questions way before we even got there. We went mostly on day trips while we were there, but we did eat at some of the nearby restaurants (Alverna), which were nice. Our shopping for groceries and such was done in downtown Wijchen, a few minutes drive, with a lot of shops. We had a great experience and will wholeheartedly recommend this house and Anja, especially for extended stays.

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in the chalet. Very well equipped and was a good home from home. Lots of flies and mosquitoes but to be expected from the surroundings, which were so peaceful and enjoyed listening to the birds singing. Would love to stay again, excellent thank you.

Adrie is very responsive and kind host. It was a great pleasure to spend January in his apartment. The house is surrounded by nature. Also, we are sincerely grateful for the clear instructions and bicycles. It was very helpful. The house has everything necessary for life. Kitchen is very well equipped. Thanks a lot Adrie for your hospitality. I worked at WUR, the location is perfect.

We have already stayed in the accommodation for the 2nd time and will be happy to come back anytime. Cute accommodation, beautifully located on the water. Great with a child and a dog! The hostess was always available and very helpful.

Nice place to go to with children. A lot of water so when the weather is nice it is especially nice.
