Great place and location for a group base to explore the Hunter valley. Relaxing and easy to stay. Good amenities and well appointed house.

Had a great 3 nights away with mates. Loved the old school house. Perfect facilities for what we needed and quiet from heavy traffic. Loved the fire stove, perfect for winter and wine.

Gorgeous property with ample room and beds to cater to our group. Hosts were always on hand for any additional questions. Property had a gorgeous fireplace which was just lovely to cosy around in the evening with a glass of wine. Looking forward to staying again!

This little cottage was perfect for our weekend away! Not too far from everything but far enough to feel isolated! I will be coming back again for sure!

We loved staying at Rod’s place. It was so cute, very tidy and clean, well appointed with comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family or a group of friends with 3 queen size bedrooms a sofa bed and two bathrooms. We appreciated the treats left for us- so thoughtful. The location was handy to everything we needed and we would absolutely stay here again.

Great place, exactly as described. It accommodated our group of 8 who visited the Hunter Valley for a golf trip. Checking in was seamless, the host was responsive and always checking in on us to make sure we were taken care of. Will 100% recommend to any friends and family visiting the Hunter Valley region.

Beautiful completely newly renovated house surrounded by vineyards. Lovely terasse, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The view was incredible. Bree and Michael are amazing hosts, super helpful and answering our message super fast. We had amazing night in this beautiful place and wish to be longer. Thank you Bree and Michael, we will be back!

Robert's place is really delightful, perched high on the western hill of Dungog only 10 minutes walk from the main street and with a perfect east/north aspect and view over the valley. Waking to thousands of birds in the dawn chorus with the low sun pouring in and the mist-laden valley below was way better than expected. Being a fellow bird lover i felt right at home, and the slow combustion stove meant the house was as warm as you could want on a cold Winter's night and morning.

Beautiful big apartment. Reminded me a bit of an old Queenslander with mod cons. Lots of charm. Wish we could of stayed longer.

Beautiful waterfront houses. Spacious areas suitable for large group. Full Kitchen amenities available. We had a great time here and would recommend to my friends.

We loved the Bond House apartment. Despite the unusual access across the park it was well worth it once inside. Eclectic stylishly furnished spacious apartment well located for East Newcastle. A well stocked larder and great laundry space if you need it. Bathrooms very modern with heated towel rails and big fluffy towels! Beds very comfy too

My friends and I had a lovely time at Nikki’s home. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out over the resort. Perfect location to visit wineries in the area!

Matt the host was very hospitable. One minute walk to the gorgeous Deck Cafe (with delicious coffee and food) / farm animal enclosure (with cute little llamas), and wine tasting. So much to see and do in the area by car or e-bike. My new favourite country escape! will be back x

We really enjoyed our weekend at this apartment – it had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. The decor was modern and cosy, and the place was super clean. We loved how close it was to the Honeysuckle foreshore and Darby Street – perfect for dinners and a morning coffee run. The rooftop area was a lovely bonus too. The host made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Would happily come back next time we're in Newcastle!

A peaceful and beautifully kept place with amazing mountain views. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved waking up to the view and relaxing in the quiet surroundings. The host was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway or a quiet weekend in nature.

This was a last minute find for us but it was just amazing. There were 3 ensuites and 1 main bathroom which made the stay for 4 of us couples with kids amazing. The living space was huge with a very comfortable couch, I only wish the TV was a bit bigger. The outdoor areas are well equipped with sufficient seating and spots to relax and enjoy. The house was clean however had a few cobwebs underneath dining chairs and some really big spiders roaming about but other than that it was spotless.

Matt’s place was incredible. We stayed there for 2 nights for a girls weekend getaway. We loved the property so much that we skipped some of our scheduled wine tastings to sit around the cozy fireplace, watch the spectacular sunsets and enjoy the 360 degree views from every angle. This property has everything you could need, including very clearly labeled instructions for how to use the various appliances/speakers/fireplace etc. The kitchen is completely stocked, there’s no shortage of cleaning supplies, firewood, tea, coffee, and everything you need to make your stay a memorable and seamless one. Matt was very responsive, helpful, and a joy to communicate with. We will definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend Among The Vines more highly. If I could give this more than five stars, I would. Gorgeous spot for a getaway from the city. Close to everything in the Hunter, but well away from everything and everyone. Super easy to find and get there, check-in/out was a breeze. All the information you need is provided. Great amenities especially in the kitchen. Accomodation is a beautiful space indoors and out. Amazing afternoon walks around the property. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! We found the property to be exactly what we were looking for, a nice getaway that made you feel disconnected and relaxed. The property is set up perfectly to bring your dog, with the secure area around the villa that allows them to explore without worry. Zoe the resident dog is also great host and very welcoming, she would come a visit each day to make sure that we were comfortable. She was very friendly and got along well with our dog, she even came along with us for one of our walks and showed us the way. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return one day, thankyou Kylie for being a great host!

Great peaceful place to stay in beauty surroundings. Nice cozy fireplace watching wildlife outside. Very relaxing.

By far the best air bnb i’ve ever stayed at. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The location was beautiful and comfortable. Will definitely be back soon!
