Raquel’s cozy guest house made our two night stay a relaxing getaway. It’s a convenient location not far from the ferry and amenities in town but feels a world away from Vancouver, waking up to the sounds of the countryside. The house is well renovated with amazing light and everything you need in the kitchen. Raquel was a great host, making us feel very welcome, accommodating us and communicating extensively when we had some issues with ferry travel. Would highly recommend!

The Raylia cottage is a beautiful rustic space, so cozy and relaxing. The property is also gorgeous, a nature filled gem. We especially loved the frogs in the pond at night; so fun to search for and very soothing to fall asleep to! We hope to be back soon!

Great location to introduce visiting family members to wine country. The wine and food options within the vicinity of the house were plenty. The home was welcoming and comfortable. Great views of the lake and great outdoor space to chill.

We deliberately chose a farm type environment that had horses to give our 9 year old daughters a different kind of experience. We were extremely pleasantly surprised by Laurel's equine program. Laurel went out of her way to show us around the farm, enlightened us with the very good work she is doing with her Equine Assisted Learning (ELA) program for local schools. We took part in a one hour session the next day and the girls loved it! Highly recommended as an essential stepping stone towards horse back riding! When I mentioned to Laurel that she has been modest in advertsing what she is doing, she said she prefers to undersell and overdeliver - and she sure did! What really impressed me was that she is running an excellent airbnb experience to help fund the EAL program to support kids who need support for a variety of reasons. The lodges are professionally decorated (vintage style) and are simply wonderful to stay in! So peaceful and so beautiful! A lovely host - we will be back!

We had an amazing long weekend at the Gala house! Beautiful view and location, peaceful and clean and had everything we needed for our girls getaway. Short drive from restaurants and hiking. The animals were a cherry on top.

Stayed here for a short vacation with our family of four and a couple dogs, we loved it! Colleen was a kind and wonderful host. Beautiful property with a lots of friendly animals. We'd definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to others!

Our group of 6 adults had a comfortable, peaceful getaway. Jenny and Kyle’s place was spotless and comfortable. We met Kyle on arrival and found him helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with the chickens and goats and seeing the cows in the field from the kitchen window! The kitchen was well outfitted and the living room and other common areas were spacious. The metalwork fixtures and finishes in the house are clearly a labour of love. Would absolutely stay again - thank you, Kyle and Jenny!

Scott and his wife are awesome hosts and it was even more available than we expected. Scott was always super helpful and their dog is super friendly which our kids loved the most. They also have their own ducks and bees which is super interesting if you want to learn about it or even just wanna take a look. The beds were super comfortable and you get a good and quiet sleep. The kitchen was equipped with so many things, that cooking was made even more easy. And the view is just stunning and so peaceful. We loved watching all different kinds of birds when we were sitting in the living room. Super friendly and always responsive hosts and we will come back for sure.

Had such a peaceful and relaxing stay, it was the perfect getaway from the city. The nature views were beautiful, and I loved seeing all the animals around the property. The best part was being greeted by the sweetest dogs every morning, so friendly and full of love (I gave lots of pets!). The suite had everything I could need, from thoughtful welcome snacks to bathroom essentials I might have forgotten at home. You can really feel the care put into making guests feel.

This is one of the most thoughtful, unique and well-stocked Airbnb's I've ever stayed at. The animals provided hours of entertainment, the bed was so comfortable, the fit and finish were gorgeous and the fridge was stocked. would definitely stay again.

Incredible space, in and out. Able to cook meals and have quality family time on vacation. Games, books, hot tub, axe throwing game. Everyone loved it.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. It was everything we hoped it would be from the description, very comfortable with excellent amenities and furnishings/linens. Jacuzzi was used often and our group of older and younger “kids” loved socialising with the goats. Kelli was easy to communicate with throughout our planning, check in and check out processes. A thoroughly recommended base to explore Vancouver and the neighbouring Islands.

Shelia's place was even more gorgeous than the pictures. The place had everything we needed and then some (like free-range eggs from her chickens!). The chickens were quiet and so were the surroundings. The pantry was well stocked with oils, vinegar, spices, and coffee beans. The beds and couches were super comfy. The outdoor seating and fire table were the perfect place to start the day with morning coffee and to end the day with a drink in the evening. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you for everything!

We arrived late in the afternoon and were immediately greeted by a herd of goats, chickens, turkey, pig, emu, peacocks, and a lovely dog names Nancy. The property was fantastic. Beautiful views, spacious, and gorgeous property. If your family loves animals as much as my girlfriend you will feel right at home. As for the suite it was well stocked with kitchen wares, and linen. A full kitchen with many appliances ideal for any family gathering. Lots of windows and sliding glass doors. Which floods the space with all sorts of natural light. Also did I mention the herd of animals! Highly recommend visiting cupcake farm with your family. I absolutely will be coming back.

We had the most beautiful stay at Michael and Nan's place. The location itself is absolutely gorgeous and so restful with all the lavender treats they provided. After a tiring journey, it felt great to see the fridge stocked with some eggs, butter, yogurt, creme, and a basket with scones, fruit, proteins bars and other snacks. It was our first time traveling with a baby; the space was very baby friendly and they graciously extended our checkout to accommodate our son's naps which was so appreciated. The bed was so comfortable, and between that and the lavender, this tired mama slept better than she has in weeks! The space had everything we needed. We will happily choose to stay here again over a hotel any time. Thank you!

This is a great space with great hosts. it is a large space that is very private, clean and rustic. There is great care taken in the set up and available amenities. Perfect for a large family gathering.

Kim’s cabin is a beautiful home away from home, but in an idyllic, isolated wilderness. The house is clean, attractive and has everything you need. The location is gorgeous and quiet, and only minutes from some spirited hikes to lovely locations. Only a few minutes further and there are more hikes and pristine natural locations. If you want, within an hour you can be right in heart of the Rockies. I can’t recommend Kim’s place higher!

This property is so beautiful - the pictures really don't do it justice! The view from the patio of the gorgeous garden, neighboring vineyards, and lake beyond is next-level, particularly in the early morning and at sunset. The suite is very spacious and comfortable - we spent a rainy afternoon with wine and cheese in front of the fireplace in the living room and couldn't have been happier. And Bob the Cat was an unexpected bonus!

This is a very nice house. It's right on the edge of town on a large private country lot. The layout was perfect for two of us and our dog. The house is clean and presents well. The descriptions are accurate. Overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We had a great 3-night stay at Bonnie and Dave's place. We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, the hot tub, and the outdoor fire pit. Bonnie and Dave even let us put up our tent in front of the Airbnb, so that my husband and son could have a bit of a "camping" experience--something our son had wanted to do all summer. The kitchen was well-equipped for making family meals, and we appreciated Bonnie's freshly baked muffins, eggs, and other food she left for us. The location of the Airbnb worked well for a fun day trip to Salt Spring Island via the Crofton ferry, being only a 15-20 minute drive from Crofton, and it was only about a 40-minute drive from the Kinsol Trestle section of the Cowichan Valley Trail, which we enjoyed biking along. Bonnie, Dave, and their dog, Sawyer, were away during our stay, so we didn't get to meet them on this visit, but they were always prompt, helpful, and friendly with all their communications. Thanks again for a great stay, Bonnie and Dave!

Leslie's place was the perfect space for our little family to get together. Beautiful views, cozy suite, lots of parking and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment needed to cook a family meal. Leslie was a wonderful host. Quick to respond and address any issues. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the beautiful Lake Country area.

Really loved our Easter weekend staying in this charming cabin, with beautiful, thoughtful design and the most adorable quail and chicken neighbours. Yvonne and Morris were so lovely to chat with, and we really enjoyed their background on the property and fantastic recommendations for local wineries and restaurants. The complimentary sourdough, eggs and bottle of wine were such welcome treats🙏! And the Similkameen Valley - wow. The surrounding landscape was enchanting, with the sagebrush and bunchgrass hills glowing in the ever-shifting light. Really enchanting spot, we hope to return soon :)
