Corriegorm Cottage, Aviemore

We loved our stay at Tracy's. She communicated well and even offered us an early check in since the house was ready. The house was perfect, with comfy sofas and beds, and so cosy with a wood burner. Would really recommend staying here.

An Outdoor Enthusiasts Slice of Heaven

JesseRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We came up all the way from Somerset to stay for 4 days for my partners birthday - she'd never been to Scotland and I hadn't been for years. Karen and Uisdeans place is a little slice of heaven. Tucked away near the Caledonian Canal and Loch Lochy it is divine. We managed to explore all the way out to Oban and to Skye whilst staying here, as well as some more local sites like Glenfinnan and Loch Eil, and Loch Ness. We were lucky enough to have snow whilst here which made the place even more beautiful and peaceful. We got engaged whilst up here as well so a totally special stay - we'll definitely be back here, it holds so many amazing memories for us. Karen and Uisdean are so helpful and lovely, with loads of info provided if needed, and a lovely tour of the property. They even left some dog treats, a dog blanket and a cushion for our puppy! Would 100% recommend to anyone heading out this way.

Svarga Mountain View

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Beautiful stay for 4 nights with 2 under 10year olds. House is clean and tidy, lovely big showers and bath. Downstairs shower room handy for after the hot tub. Tea, coffee and a fire laid for arrival which was a lovely touch. Almost everything you might need in the kitchen (missing an ice cube tray, colander and matches for the fire although theres so much kit might have missed those) Views are just stunning, from every window. We visited in late October, house stayed warm. Short stroll into Kinlochleven. Coop has plenty of things and open 7 days a week. It was off season, but the take away cafe next door, chinese and pub were open. We also went to the seafood cafe about 15min drive away which closes for the season in November, but is friendly and good food, a lunch time here would be amazing with views of the loch. We did the walk up to the falls from the village which is well sign posted. And walks along the river. Really enjoyed our stay thank you.

A carefully balanced stack of smooth stones rests on a large, textured rock at the riverbank. A flowing river with white-capped waves can be seen in the background, flanked by lush greenery and rolling hills under a partly cloudy sky.

Askival

ReneeRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Alison was a wonderful host for her place from giving us excellent directions (we came in after dark and still found it easily) to checking us in personally. We communicated with her that we had left later than planned and would be getting there late so we certainly didn't expect a personal check-in, but it was much appreciated. The place itself is a charming croft and a small distance from Spean Bridge into the countryside. The views are gorgeous and the interior is welcoming and well equipped. For us it was a central location for exploring - .5 hour to Fort William, 1.5 hrs to Glen Creran, and slighly less than 2 hrs to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skybridge to the Isle of Skye, etc. We would hike all day and come home late to make a last meal and sleep. Having a washer and dryer in a mud room area was fabulous with mud on our hikes. We would definitely stay here again both for the scenery and the hospitality.

Outstanding Central Apartment

ClaireRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We visit St Andrews several times a year and always stay in apartments when visiting our daughter. This was by far the nicest we have stayed in as it’s so clearly stayed in by the owners and wasn’t as clinical as some others. Nicely decorated, Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and well equipped kitchen and the added bonus of secure parking. Easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops and beaches. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Isabel’s Cabin Fort William

AlfieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
From the moment we arrived at Isabel’s Cabin we knew it was going to be a great stay. Arriving on the eve of Hogmanay access to the property was easy and the Cabin was stunning inside and out. It was lovely to arrive to some unexpected treats and we loved the fresh eggs from the chickens. We were totally blown away the next morning by the views of the surrounding area and how peaceful the location is. We experienced the most gorgeous frosty scenery which made the location even more dramatic. The property was very comfortable and spacious for two adults and two children. We enjoyed our days exploring the area and driving further afield to some tourist sites. Frankie, Devin and Baby Frankie were the perfect hosts and we would thoroughly recommend a stay at the beautiful Isabel’s Cabin. We would definitely return ☺️
