We had an exceptional stay! The hosts are a rare kindness, very caring and attentive: we feel that they put all their heart into welcoming their guests. The amenities are simply amazing: swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, weight room… everything is perfectly maintained and thought out for comfort. Tiago did more than expected. From welcoming cake, unexpected wine tour and requests answered immediately. When we panicked about the fires, he calmed us. This Airbnb is a haven of tranquility. Fresh fruit from trees!!! Vale da Cambra unspeakable beauty and hospitality. Not a lot of English speaking, but at the end we got what we wanted.

Beautiful, remote area! The house does have neighbors right next door that are always visible, so you are always seen when on patio deck or using jacuzzi (not too private). We didn't mind too much, but some people may care about lack of privacy. We would have liked to enjoy morning coffee on the deck, but neighbor ran a tractor and wood chopping saw next to the deck for hours each day, so it was impossible to use deck and enjoy any silence or nature sounds. Kitchen needs to have pots and pans that are compatible with with the induction stove. We did find one that worked, but the others were incompatible. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the region is gorgeous for nature lovers!

The stay was fantastic. The host Begoña is very friendly and helpful. He gave us a lot of information that helped us have a great weekend. The unit was very clean and well kept. We will definitely repeat.

Calm and relaxing Sitio. We had a very good weekend at the Alambique house with access to the pool. We went on a horseback ride that we really enjoyed. We also use the paddle tennis court. Easy communication with host Georgina, always very accessible. Thank you!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

We spent a few very peaceful days in this cottage in Arouca. The house is charming, well decorated and comfortable — ideal for resting. It is in a cozy and secluded shale village, surrounded by nature, with an incredible view of the mountains. We loved the attic room, super cozy, with a sloping wooden ceiling. In the morning, we woke up to the sound of birds and, at night, the atmosphere was very peaceful, with the soft sound of the Paiva River in the background. The river beach is a 5-minute walk, and we took good walks around the house. The most special place was undoubtedly the terrace with barbecue — perfect for family meals and celebrations, at any time of day, from the calm of the morning to the twilight of the end of the day. The view is truly scenic. The kitchen is very well-equipped, nothing was missing! Despite being a sheltered place, it is close to the main tourist attractions. The hosts are extremely helpful and attentive! It was a real haven, we loved the stay!

We received a very warm welcome from Bartolo. Interesting, old apartment, part of a much larger farmhouse building. Antique furnishings and high ceilings give this Airbnb a very quaint feel, like going back in time. Plenty of blankets and hot water bottles for the unseasonable chilly nights on our arrival. We loved the ambience, the creative renovations which were being carried out whilst we were there, didn’t hinder our stay in any way. Beautiful views, animals in the grounds, wonderful kind people, made our trip very special. We took the train into glorious old Porto from Mindelo, leaving our hire car nearby. Do walk along the boardwalk in the nature reserve on the coast nearby. Characterful old villages and towns nearby for coffees and meals out. The Romantico drive along the Douro is a must, choose a dry day for the glorious views. We toured the old city and loved both sides of the river. Lots of musicians play there, it was a pleasure to lunch, listen and relax.

The accommodation is exactly what it advertises. A quiet place to relax and spend a few days in nature. Liliana is a very friendly host who welcomed us on time and with a gift. To get to restaurants or shopping, a car is a must, but the distance is not too much. Liliana gave us directions on it. This is an old house renovated so you will find that some furniture is old and other modern but all functional. The cleanliness was excellent. I only tried one bed and it was so comfortable. The pool and nature do the rest.

Gui has two houses for rent, in a nice, quiet, rural environment close to beautiful Ponte-de-Lima. She is very friendy and extremely helpful.

The place was just mega. The landlord always had an open ear for questions and also gave many tips.

We had a great time at the house, it's beautiful, perfect for relaxing and unwinding in a fantastic setting. Francisco's parents welcomed us wonderfully and were very thoughtful and careful, it was a pleasure! Thank you very much for everything and greetings to the whole family! We had a wonderful time at the house. Both the garden and the house itself are extremely spacious, providing much more room than we had originally anticipated. The house is superbly furnished, and nothing is lacking. Even thoughtful details, like a windbreak for the beach, have been provided. Upon our arrival, the house was in a very neat and clean condition, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We do have one small suggestion: it would be ideal to install mosquito nets on the windows, so they can be left open at night without the risk of mosquitoes entering. We would not hesitate to return anytime!

We spent 10 days in Joana’s cottage. It was a lovely and quiet place with a great view and a beautiful big garden. We had everything that we needed. The communication with Joana went very well. If you like hiking it’s easy to get to Peneda-Geres National Park, with great routes and hopefully god weather. We recommend staying in Joana’s cottage.

Impeccable apartment. Modern and with a large outdoor garden with a well exposed pool. We stayed for a week. There are great restaurants and Osterie nearby. Very comfortable beds. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area I think this is the Top. We shared a few days with friends and the ability to rent the twin apartment was fantastic. The host is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Manuel is a great host, he is very responsive and is very attentive to his guests including dogs. Manuel has good recommendations for the area. Manuel also speaks French. The accommodation is atypical, clean and air-conditioned. The property is private, there is an accessible pool with lots of very nice and soothing outdoor spaces.

What a lovely quiet place. Ideal for relaxing and recharging your batteries. I would love to come back again.
