This place is magnificent! The home has all the amenities and is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. That yard, the pool mimic and the surrounding areas are amazing. We enjoyed spending time by the pool and wraparound varanda as the sun slowly set in the horizon over the surrounding mountains and fields - simply stunning. The surrounding areas allow for ample exploration, Pottery studios/shops, beautiful villages that seem to be suspended in time and other gorgeous monuments, help keep us happily busy. A XIII Century castled walled city is both impressive and offers magnificent restaurants and views of the largest man made lake in Europe. Because the region is vast and not over populated, we’ve enjoyed the night skies in all their glory. Our hosts, Andrea & Armando, are super hospitable and kind, it felt we were visiting old friends. We’ll be back and soon!

We were so lucky to find this place after our other booking fell through. Hugo was extremely responsive and flexible with having us check in last minute and on odd hours. It has a beautiful “Spanish wood cabin” feel that is perfect for families, friend groups, or couples! We loved it, and found it to be a hidden gem. We didn’t know anything about the town of Borba before, and were just stopping by on our road trip, but it ended up being one of our favorite stops thanks to this place and the kindness and flexibility of its hosts!

The place is perfect, everything was very clean and new, and attention to the last detail. The house has everything you could need for a multi-day stay, and the village in which it is located is authentic and very beautiful. Tiago was very kind to us and very attentive to our arrival, giving clear instructions and always available for anything. In short, both the accommodation and as a host were perfect, if we ever return to the area, we will definitely be back.

Loved this Airbnb. Beautiful setting and such lovely accomodation: tastefully decorated, quality linen and furnishings. Everything carefully prepared and pristine. Recommend 100% for relaxation. Beautiful Alentejo villages nearby: Marvao, Castelo do Vide and many more. Waterfall nearby and walks in beautiful unspoilt countyside

This was the most wonderful airbnb! Loving restored, beautifully appointed, stunning. I wish we could stay longer! Everything was perfect, nothing lacking. Luisa shared great information upon our check in which made our two days seamless. We cannot wait to return to Evora and especially to this beautiful apartment. Many thanks to you Luisa.

Very relaxing stay in this beautiful rustic house. It was just what we needed a couple of days relaxing. Monsaraz is stunning and the view from the house is amazing. There are steep steps leading down to the house it wasn’t a problem for us but please consider this when carrying luggage. The house is comfortable & well equipped with everything you need. We found a fab restaurant in the village called O Gazpacho it’s 10/10 and worth a visit.

The stay was 5 stars, the very spacious house for 5 people who went. The Outside Area with a phenomenal landscape. The countryside was equipped with everything we needed to guide us. The only point that I can point out, but that doesn't end up making me change ranks, and to help hosts should update the description for TV, because the listing says it doesn't, but in the house it has a small TV. Being redundant, fantastic experience in a very pleasant area located in a very quiet land. Repeating the stay.
