Family-friendly vacation rentals in Boat of Garten

Absolutely amazing, only problem was we should have stayed longer. Deer/child)dog proof fencing. Never ending facilities, gaming, snooker, cinema plus hot tub, sauna, jacuzzi. Huge house with plenty of space for children and adults to enjoy. BBQ and large table for evening dinner in the sunshine watching the deer. Peacock on the bear an interesting sight before it flew off. Thank you Gail, you may see us again x sure I've missed something...

Susan's place is incredible for bringing the whole family together. This is my second stay at her place in Aviemore and we have had such great fun each time. The views are incredible, the house has everything you could possibly need, and the walk in to Aviemore is peaceful and beautiful. Cannot recommend this house enough!

We had a lovely weekend at The Squirrels, it was the perfect setting for a get together with friends. We all slept amazingly as the beds are soo comfortable and Sarah, the host, was very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions! Would definitely be back :) thanks Sarah! X

Amazing service and the cabin was perfect. We were exhausted after completing the NC500 and the hot tub just made all the difference for our final day in Scotland. Kirsty was super kind and gave us clear instructions and let us know how to contact her. I would recommend any one thinking of booking the cabin to just go ahead and book you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at Balnacraig. It was very spacious and well equipped, and the view from the sitting room is something very special indeed. The hosts were very responsive to any questions that we had.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

I had an amazing stay!The place was stunning,extremely beautiful, quiet, and peaceful with breathtaking views. All the amenities were exactly as described, and everything was clean and comfortable. The small town nearby (just a 10-minute drive) was charming and convenient for anything I needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

I had an amazing time staying at Louise’s place in Aviemore. The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Louise was a fantastic host—very welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything Aviemore has to offer, including gorgeous walks and great cafes. Waking up to the view of the surrounding hills was a real treat. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return soon. Thanks again, Louise!

Great place to stay for families and larger groups with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large house in a beautiful location just a short drive from Alness and 30 minutes to Inverness making it a great base to explore the Scottish Highlands.

Lovely cottage. We come to Cullen 2 or 3 times a year and this cottage is up there with the best. A real bonus was having a tumble dryer! Coming home no dirty washing was brilliant. Thank you.

We had a large family gathering that needed a special location to be right. This home fit that description perfectly. Each of our family group was able to have their own bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The living room spaces, kitchen and dining room allowed us to have a large gathering with ease. The TV and kids play area were perfect for our family of 7. The view was amazing and the location just about 10-15 mins from Inverness. The host and assistant made our visit top notch. We were lucky to find such a great spot for this family adventure. I cant recommend higher.

Excellent host, superb location. If you’re looking for a place with outstanding views in a quiet and peaceful area: that’s the place! Inverness in 20 minutes, local distillery and golf course close by. The accommodation had everything we needed and is well kept, superb location clean and tidy. Would love to go there again (immediately). All thumbs up for Julie and her team!

Beautiful views and property. We felt right at home and would come back in a heartbeat. There were so many cute and beautiful things in the house and basically everything you need and then some more. We also saw deers visit the gardens and had a beautiful time overall,

What a lovely place to stay. And not far to drive to the beaches and Elgin where we were visiting family. A very well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. Thank you, I am sure we will return.

Magical apartment in the old abbey. Cool building to explore. Don’t miss the graveyard. We had a 6 PM check in and had a flat tire coming up from Fort William. When I informed our host we would be delayed, she actually connected me with a tire replacement company FASTER than the rental company! So, the rental company confirmed the services right away and our delay was only 2 hours. We are SO THANKFUL to our kind host! The Boathouse restaurant has the best views, doesn’t require reservations, and was open later until everything else had closed. It’s a big issue to either have reservations (even for pizza!) or eat super early before 6 pm to get food. No local grocery store. Gas station does have fruit and vegetables. We couldn’t figure out the dryer despite the directions.

Another wonderful stay here. Cozy, comfortable caravan with a beautiful, peaceful view. Spotlessly clean, great shower, comfy sofas, helpful hosts. Perfect for watching the world go by outside. Can't wait to return next year!

Absolutely amazing property. Out of our 10 day stay in various establishments in Scotland, this was hands down our favorite. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location, we spend the best week of our holiday there!

Great experience from the grandeur of the building, to the facilities - pool, steam room, sauna and particularly the full-size snooker table - and comfortable accommodation. Plenty of space to relax including direct access to Loch Ness and easy trips to the surrounding countryside (Ben Nevis, spectacular waterfalls and castles) and towns.
