Vacation rentals in Björköby

Anette and her husband were super friendly and the place was exactly as described. There was enough space in the house for us parents and our three children. When it was warm we could use the dock by boat on the lake or drive to the swimming spot (about 1.5 km away), when it was cold we turned on the fireplace in the house, wood was available free of charge. We can only recommend the house, thanks to the hosts!

What can I say that other reviews haven't already? We loved this place! We have stayed in around 15 to 20 airbnbs over the last few years and we all thought this was in the top two or maybe even the best we've ever stayed at. A lot of thought has gone into making this house feel like a home and Björn clearly has an eye for how to do this. The vinyl collection and record player were the icing on the cake! What can I say if you like what you see in the photos and are a fan of nature and peace and quiet I think you cannot go wrong with this lovely house.

Kasper's place was very nice. Perfect for a few days of rest. The kitchen is excellently equipped and we didn't miss anything else. The sauna rounded off by the lake and the boat offers a perfect end.

We had a very pleasant stay at Olaf’s holiday cottage located directly at the lake Örken. The cottage is a little gem in the beautiful nature of Småland. Especially for outdoor lovers the cottage is perfect, as there are many possibilities to go hiking, fishing, mushroom/berry picking etc. When we arrived at the accommodation we felt right at home. As we were staying at the cottage in November we particularly enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the evenings. In the mornings we woke up to magnificent views over the lake. The communication with Olaf was also really smooth and easy.

Rebecca is a very nice hostess, we were passing through and were allowed to spend a night in the small beautiful, clean cottage. Everything was great 👍

Very nice and cozy accommodation with a spectacular view over the lake, the cottage is part of a family farm and is fully equipped, comfortable beds, good kitchen, nice area to sit outside (even at the end of September) and clean. What's also nice is that the cows come and take a look every now and then. Location is good, close to the town of Ëksjo and to national parks, so you can take nice walks in the area. Annelie is a good hostess, very hospitable and easy to communicate with.

Really nice hut in the middle of the forest. The fireplace is great and we had fun chopping small firewood with the axe. The contact with Chalita was also great. The surroundings are wonderfu and quietl. We would love to come back again.

An amazing location to spend a weekend (or longer) away. The accommodation is cosy and offers everything for a comfortable stay. Maria is a great host, very friendly and helpful. A wood fired sauna with access to the lake rounds out the package. Very much recommended!
