I had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—close to everything I needed—and the view was absolutely stunning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. I had so much fun during my visit and truly appreciated the warm hospitality. This place was wonderful. It was my first stop in India so the perfect place to settle in. It’s a short walk from McLeod Ganj and is surrounded by great amenities including a couple of great restaurants, a shop and a gym. The area is a great mix of Tibetan/Buddhist and Indian cultures. It’s wonderful! The view from the balcony is spectacular and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. I was remote working so the work desk was ideal but trying to work without getting mesmerised by the view was hard 😂 The team couldn’t have done more for me including getting an Indian SIM card. Thanks guys. I’ll be returning and I can’t wait.

We were looking for a place away from busy Dharamsala that we could use as a base to explore the area and Ajit’s home fitted the bill perfectly. Located in Naddi, it is about 500m above Dharamsala and cooler. Accessing Dharamsala and McLeodganj was a breeze - if you have your own vehicle then no problem, else there are autos and taxis that ply from Dal Lake, which is an attraction close to Naddi.  The home itself is very nice. Very clean and neat and very thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction stove, gas, refrigerator, water filter, utility vessels and some common grocery items needed for cooking. The view from the unit is amazing - it looks out onto some village homes in the distance on top of a hill with terraced fields in between and the show capped Dhauladhar peaks in the horizon. The unit is located in the second floor - accessed by 2 flights of stairs. So, if you have seniors in your contingent or someone with mobility issues, it is something to watch out for.  Ajit’s family - himself, wife and 2 young boys were amazing and most helpful with some our specific needs. Since Ajit has grown up in the Naddi area, he knows the place inside out and is happy to guide and help out.  Connectivity was one of the best we have had in Himachal - Vodafone works great and so does Jio. All in all - great value for money for your stay in the Dharamsala area - we would come back to stay - for the place, for the view, for the convenience and of course, Ajit and family - amazing folks! 

Rama's place was double great. To begin with - the coziness inside and out. The room is not too big, but there's certainly enough place for two people. We liked the green grass when outside a lot. Also there are two options of how to get to the central square - both just a couple of minutes and there you are, able to explore onwards according to your wishes. Rama herself is very warm. She's very helpful with everything - willing to answer all your questions and also willing to give you some advice, if you need it :). I think the main compliment about the place and the owner would be if we'll travel again to McLeod Ganj we would definitely stay at Rama's. Thank you, Rama!

The apartment looked exactly the same as in photos, everything was right clean bathrooms, comfortable rooms, choice of books and board games for timepass and on the top of everything you could hear the river flowing nearby which is soothing at night. Host Surbhi is also a very nice person you don't feel like you are meeting her for the first time, she is very helpful. I recommend this place who wants to visit Dharamshala

Had an amazing stay at the Tara’s BnB. The location was amazing. It was in Upper Dharamkot and is blessed with amazing view, especially the kitchen. The place was well maintained and very clean. We were welcomed by two fury cuties, Blanko and Coco. Loved their company. Apart from Airbnb, Tara was an amazing host. A very friendly person and always ready to help. Really enjoyed our stay here. ✨✨✨

We were looking for a quick staycation during a hectic week and this place was just perfect! I wasn’t sure what to expect since there weren’t many reviews, but this place turned out to be a wonderful surprise! Bonus: an amazing view of the mountains. From sipping tea on the balcony to just chilling in the cosy indoors, this place was the perfect little escape we needed. I absolutely loved my stay here! You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into this place—the kitchen had everything we needed. From spices to tea to coffee, you name it! Special thanks to Kunal for being super thoughtful and making sure everything was just right. Even my pup had the best time exploring around. The location is great too. It’s peaceful yet accessible to all the good spots and cafes around Dharamshala. If you’re looking for a place that’s cosy, well-maintained, and super welcoming, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

I was visiting Bir, in December 2022 to start my paragliding course. I must say that I made a really good choice to stay at Amrita's place. After a long day of paragliding training, this place absolutely felt like home for me and my friends. Peaceful, right weather, privacy, amenities, all my requirements were fulfilled personally. Has a vintage vibe to the house as our host told us that the place is about 103 years, very well-kept, and maintained. The kitchen and the rest of the place were very clean as well. I have already started recommending it to my friends. Also, not to forget about mentioning the top floor bathroom which is Huge and gives a view of the Billing Valley. 3-5 minutes away from the market to get all the necessary groceries and vegetables. Huge and well-functional kitchen to cook in as well. Plus Jimmy the dog made our experience playful. Thank you, Amrita for such an amazing stay and experience.

We were a group of 4 travelling to Bir. Booked the property last moment. Inspite of a few glitches here and there, Paul jee (the caretaker) guided us through our journey (on call) and welcomed us to the property. He was sweet enough to provide us with ingredients for tea late at night. About the property, it’s a simple old-world house. I loved its simplicity and the fact that the cleaning lady, Beena, made sure everything is clean and looking good. The views around the vast tea garden and the lush gardens at the property is the highlight. Even the kitchen and the washroom had the views of trees swaying along the wind. I had a relaxing time watching the sunrise sitting at the porch. Made myself a nice breakfast, had a soothing bath and slept like a baby. There’s ample extra blankets provided to keep you warm. At this property, I was a little away from the main town yet close to it. I loved the calm and silence here, something that I was craving for on my holiday in Bir. I would totally love to come back and stay for longer.

The stay was excellent and the food they shared with us was wonderful and homely. Immaculately kept house. The only thing to note would be that the path to reach the gate is steep and narrow, almost too small for our SUV. Do keep that in mind.

I can’t believe that this place was so much more than you can see on Airbnb. Words and pictures can’t describe the beauty and serenity of this home. Taking a shower in the first floor bathroom was like being in a warm spa. That shower is basically a sun room and my husband and I couldn’t have been in more love with it. The host is the nicest person and is so open to sharing numbers and info for local restaurants and activities. The nursery next to the home is filled with plants and succulents that you won’t find at that roadside stand near your house so definitely take back a few plants if you can. This house is a whimsical fairytale so definitely set aside some time from your trip to enjoy this property as well.

Aunty was just so warm and hospitable and we wish to come back and revisit Palampur only because we found the perfect people to stay with. We highly recommend that people visit and stay at this place. They're the most lovely hosts.

Excellent place to stay. very near to Stadium. Neat and clean, amenities were provided well. Host is very very helpful and responsive even at night time. Very much homely stay experience it was for us.

Mohit’s place is about 40–50 minutes from Manali, which actually works in its favour if you’re looking to escape the tourist rush. Set in a gated community with security and parking, the area feels safe and peaceful, even though it’s tucked away in a quiet village setting. Local convenience stores are close by for essentials, and the neighbourhood has a warm, welcoming vibe. Mohit was very responsive and helped us with nearby food options. Deliveries take about an hour, so plan ahead. Special mention to a homestay near the monastery serving tasty homemade meals. The place is well-suited for a quiet getaway or a relaxed workation. There’s space to walk, Wi-Fi works well, the TV keeps you equipped if needed, and while brief power cuts occurred during rain, it wasn’t an issue. The kitchen-with a fridge, microwave, and cutlery, gives you the flexibility to prepare something up if you wish. Serene balcony views with open skies and hills—perfect for anyone seeking calm, comfort, and quiet.

If you’re looking for a cozy, private mountain retreat with amazing views, this is the perfect place. The property is exactly as shown in the profile - calm and beautiful. It's just a short hike to Naggar Castle, nearby temples, and also close to the local chawk and eateries, making it convenient for exploring. Initially planned to stay for a week but ended up extending my stay there. The owner's family lives on the property and they were incredibly welcoming, always ready to help with any requests. Siddharth was also very responsive, assisting with anything I needed. Just a note: The Wi-Fi is pretty good (40mbps), but if you’re planning a workation, it’s a good idea to have a strong mobile network to use your hotspot as a backup. I will surely choose this place again if I come back.

This is not actually an Airbnb, it is a room in the Chokling Arthouse, which is the hotel next to Chokling Monastery. I never did meet Kartik, and when I asked about him, everyone at the guesthouse stared blankly, as if they'd never heard of him. But the hotel is lovely, as is the management, and the room is very spacious and comfortable with spectacular views. I loved my stay here. That said, it is definitely not big enough for three people. This is a suite for two people, even though the hotel will offer you an extra cot at a fee. There is really no where to put it, though, unless one person slept in the sitting area. There is also no kitchen, just a microwave and a few bowls, spoons, etc. There is AC, hot water, and a lovely sitting area. The hotel restaurant has extremely slow service and not many options, but the waiters are extremely friendly. This room opens onto a large public terrace area, which be noisy at night with people doing fire spinning, etc.

It had always been a great stay with yaspal ji and their family. Love to always come back.

We booked Sukh Sagar to spend a quiet New Year as a family of three, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The host was approachable and very helpful before, upon our arrival and during the stay. The staff was proactive, ensuring our stay was clean, comfortable, and hassle-free on the beautiful Beas river front property. They even arranged a private New Year’s Eve celebration for us, complete with a bonfire and snacks. The flat was spacious, with large bedrooms, a cozy living room featuring a fireplace, and thoughtful amenities perfect for a family stay. WiFi, TV, and ample parking—everything was on point. Full marks for the setup! The surroundings were serene and picturesque, adding to the charm of the place. However, finding the homestay after reaching Dwara can be a little confusing. It’s best to ask for directions at local shops about Dobhi or contact the host for precise guidance. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Shalini’s place is an excellent option for someone looking for a nice and peaceful stay around Dharamshala at a budget friendly price. The place offers nice snow capped views one side and a small stream flowing just across the road which adds to its charm. The place is on the second floor but there is help available for managing the luggage up and down which makes it quite convenient. Shalini was extremely proactive and helpful with instructions and local recommendations that came in very handy. Overall a nice accommodation and a super friendly host.
