Two sheep are seen in a grassy field. One sheep, with white fluffy wool, stands in the foreground, looking directly at the camera. The other sheep, with a slightly darker wool coat, is positioned in the background. The landscape features gentle hills and a body of water in the distance.

Hraunháls, Helgafellssveit

We had such a peaceful stay at Guðlaug’s comfortable and cozy retreat. First, the views are spectacular. Second, we were greeted by so many curious sheep and — baby lambs! The beds are comfortable, and the shower pressure was amazing. Kitchen was well-equipped. We loved lounging on the couches and taking in the view. We stayed for two nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. We would love to return to this slice of heaven on earth!

The cabin is perfectly located, practically equipped and extremely clean. In addition, it is very cosy and quiet. The views from the veranda are breathtaking and it is located at a short distance to many tourists natural attractions. I will recommend this place to friends and family. It is a must for anyone wanting to visit Iceland!

Charming House on the Ocean Front

KristenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed 3 nights in Arnarstapi cabin. It was so cozy and the perfect place for us to explore the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed- we made coffee in the mornings and sat on the deck to watch and listen to the birds fly around the bird cliff. Amazing! We walked to Hellnar and enjoyed the incredible cliffs, arches, and lava field- all without driving. Such a special place! We hope to return someday!

Brimilsvellir

A rugged coastline is depicted with distinctive rock formations rising dramatically from the water. The sea gently laps against the shoreline, with distant cliffs visible. A lighthouse stands on the horizon, contributing to the coastal scenery in this natural landscape.

New Renovated House with Mountain view & hot tub

KaleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay here! Inside is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. I was a bit confused about the layout from the photos when I booked, but the TV area, fireplace, large dining table and kitchen are all in the same room and made it an excellent space for lounging and visiting. The home was very well equipped and so cozy! We used the deck space with a beautiful view of the mountain for dinner when the weather cleared and sat out front for fantastic views of the sea and cliffs with our coffees in the morning. The town itself is very small, and we didn't eat at any of the restaurants although they were open and looked good! A great location for exploring the peninsula and there are many beautiful sites within a half hour drive. One of our favourite walks on the entire trip was right out the front door (facing the sea) and to the left where there is a gate and you can walk along the cliffs. Views were unreal and it was very peaceful! Thank you for having us!

Ólafsvík - one bedroom apartment # 3

This was my second time staying, and I will continue to return whenever I go to Iceland. This place is great . . . super clean, awesome bathroom (including washer and dryer, which really come in handy for refreshing our clothing supply on trips), comfortable beds, and a nice, small kitchen area. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Península, and Ólafsvík is a great stop in and of itself, with a beautiful waterfall overlooking the town, which you can hike to the top of . . . a highlight of our trip. Small, grocery store nearby, as well as a restaurant and small diner at the gas station down the street. Thanks to Kristin for providing this little gem of a place to stay!

A cozy corner is highlighted by a window offering a view of the scenic landscape outside. A wooden table, featuring a floral tablecloth, holds a glass and a bottle. Soft lighting is provided by wall sconces, creating a warm ambiance within the space.

A charming country home near a national park

EitanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was hands down the nicest, cosiest Airbnb we've stayed at. Anna Maria was friendly and helpful and her house is fantastic - the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fully stocked and then some (the coffee machine was especially fabulous). Our kids enjoyed the puzzles, board games, arts & crafts, movie collection, and space to stretch out and play in the house and yard. You can see the stunning mountains and the sea from the windows and there's tons of beautiful places to see and hike nearby. It was definitely a good idea to buy groceries in Borgarnes on the way to Arnarstapi. We would definitely choose to stay there again!
