A wonderful home base from which to explore the Perigord region. We had a wonderful stay and felt very welcomed. The home was comfortable and well equipped for our long stay of one month.

We had a lovely stay. The house was in a very satisfactory condition, well arranged with all the necessities: dishes, etc. Very quiet place, very nice pool, not to mention the owners always attentive and available. Thank you.

We stayed for a week with our almost 2yo son and everything was perfect from beginning to end. The property is stunning, our Rose gite was confortable and provided everything needed including baby gear. It’s perfectly located to visit many local sites within short drives or bike rides. Jeanie and her people were very kind and sweet, they made us feel welcome at all times. We would definitely come back and 100% recommend staying at the Laugerie Basse. Thank you Jeanie, it’s been lovely ;)

The house in perfect order and cleanliness, very comfortable and welcoming. The very friendly hosts welcomed us with a homemade walnut pie. Jerome recommended us places we were missing to visit since last year we had been in the area. The whole family and our dog were very comfortable. Very grateful for your hospitality.

The gite was very cosy and comfortable in a lovely, quiet location. Great location to explore the area from. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive providing lots of helpful information. We had a problem with our car and Robert and Stephane were extremely helpful and supportive. We highly recommend staying here without hesitation. Many thanks to you both.

We spent 5 nights at this place and were very satisfied! It meets all the criteria: everything is clean, well-equipped, well located, it's beautiful, it's quiet, easy to load/unload the car and park. The house is warm, well-decorated, consistent with the photos in every way! We have found our stronghold for our next vacation in Périgord! Her instructions are clear and accurate and it's very easy to find your little house 🩷 an arrival, a stay and a departure with peace of mind for us! We recommend 100%!

The house was immaculate and well appointed. We ate most dinners in and the kitchen was well equipped to cook.

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable cottage. The co-host Laure was very friendly and welcoming - we even had a bottle of white wine in the fridge! The location is great - 5 mins walk from the market space - and Belves itself is definitely worth visiting!

What an absolute gem of a place. It has so much character.Everything was just fabulous. It was really comfortable and so cosy. Thierry and Brigitte are generous and friendly hosts. We really appreciated the lovely local produce that was left for us. We loved Castelnaud. It is a great location for exploring the region and the gite is at the bottom of the Castle. A fantastic Boulangerie is a two minute walk away. We did not want to leave and we can’t wait to get back. Merci beaucoup.

We had the most beautiful stay here after getting married in the Chateau de Cazenac the weekend before. It was a wonderful way to end our trip with our immediate family. The house is much better in real life and we would love to visit again in the future.

the accommodation is very well equipped whether for the kitchen, the sauna, the spa... the room with the video projector... the setting is conducive to relaxation and rest. we really appreciated the cocooning atmosphere, the comfort. everything is fine, great!

Chantal is an excellent host, very responsive, friendly and flexible. Her place is clean, fully equipped and elegant decorated. She made us feel right at home. This cozy house made our trip special. If we ever come back to this area, we would love to stay Chantal's place again. One thing to remind future guests (no fault from the host) is that we set up the GPS only by typing the address without double-checking with Google Maps. Somehow the GPS led us to a lower street, then we had to climb up the stairs in the dark to find this house. If we had double-checked the GPS setting with Google Maps beforehand and make sure to arrive at the correct street, "Place de l'Europe". Then this house will be right in front of parking lot.

Lovely little house, in a beautiful historic setting and an easy walk to cafe (for breakfast), patisserie and boulangerie, and restaurants - everything we love in a holiday. So many exceptional things to do and see close by. Everyone we met was charming and helpful. We loved it. Thank you to our hosts.

We stayed for 5 days and the location is great for travelling around. There is a great supermarket, boulangerie, pharmacy, petrol station and a couple of restaurants in the village. The property suited us well and was really clean and well equipped. The garden was useful for storing our kit and drying washing as tgis stay was part of a longer trip. Unfortunately we experienced some issued with the electrics but am sure that will be resolved by time next people are in. Would recommend 👌

A really fabulous place to stay in a peaceful rural hamlet in perigord region. Julie & Vincent were great hosts & made us feel very welcome. Close to a number of beautiful towns & villages, with loads to do & see. The accommodation itself is very charming and a great place to unwind & relax. The local Sunday market in St Cyprien is a delight, with every kind of local produce you could imagine, live music, crafts etc. and there was a real buzz about the place.

We had a great family stay, in a lovely house in a lovely area of France. Recommend for large family or friend groups.

The small accommodation is a very pretty and very cozy chalet. Everything was perfect: very good bedding, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. We loved it. Lots of pretty villages to visit, caves and chasms, and walk in the forest at the door of the house with a marked path. Our dog loved his free walks every morning. And Estelle and her brother are available, kind and attentive. A very nice stay for those looking for calm and love nature. Very good address. I highly recommend it

I booked for my parents who were won over! Very nice atypical rental in a nice environment. Anne was very welcoming with purchase of parking spaces and parking spaces;) The accommodation was clean with all the essentials for a great stay.
