House vacation rentals in Berkshire

Fabulous house and very responsive host - our only comment would be that it would be great if the garden was secure for any 4 legged friends, but we took an extendy lead because we read other reviews, just grateful our dog could be there!

Wow! We had an exceptional stay. We were 12 friends celebrating a special event and found Arabella’s place ideal for our needs. The pool is spectacular and the location is stunning. Plentiful comfy beds and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

This little estate is beautiful, the wildlife was amazing, I went with a toddler and my husband and very pregnant. Walkable playgrounds and a trampoline, swimming pool in the spa is lovely inside outside pool. Perfect for little one. Really enjoyed the peacefulness. Bank holiday weeks are very busy and everything requires to be booked so we were grateful to have several days without the peek of the holidays. House has lovely bedrooms. Was a much needed break after having to cancel a holiday to Greece due to pregnancy complications we picked this little village and was totally worth it. Day trips out to Cotswold wildlife is a worth a trip and Cirencester (we’ve been a few time is still a beautiful little town) worth bringing some essential you may need if cooking within the house.

We loved our stay at Mike and Joan’s barn. We were a mixed family group including three generations. Everyone loved the pool - which was so relaxing and clean and the perfect temperature. Two of our group couldn’t get out much for health reasons but they both loved the character and comfort of the barn and feeling so connected to nature even without leaving the property. We loved watching goldfinches on the common from the dining room window and my daughter slept on the mezzanine sofa bed so she could wake to the spectacular sunrise. Both Mike and Joan made a real effort to meet our slightly complicated needs (autistic teenagers, elderly grandad having cancer treatment) and Mike was incredibly kind letting me and my horsey daughter enjoy wonderful times with his beautiful horses. We had an amazing trip, made some precious memories and very much hope to come back soon. Big thank you to Joan and Mike.

Great house for 3 generations for half term break. Plenty of space to spread out, more than enough beds and bathrooms for 9 of us. Child friendly and lots of suitable books and games. We had a super time and fully recommend . We all fancy a return trip👍

Had a wonderful long weekend at Bretforton Manor. Lucy was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. Everything in the Coach House was spotless and well equipped and we loved having the use of the swimming pool and gardens which were beautiful. Our visit coincided with Bretforton open gardens weekend which was hosted in the Manor garden so we also got to see other gardens in the village as well as entertainment and delicious refreshments on our doorstep. The Fleece Inn pub is a 5 minute walk and we recommend the food there too. Perfect location for exploring the area with Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate a short drive away. The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Coach House! It was exactly as described and very comfortable. Charlie and Peter were great hosts and had thought of everything. We loved the overall vibe of the house and garden - it’s very Soho Farmhouse chic - and there were even eggs from the local chickens there for us to enjoy. We all said how much we’d love to come back and stay again, and will definitely be recommending it to our friends!

Beautiful location with walks on your doorstep. The Studio was a lovely little place to spend a couple of nights. It has everything you need. A very peaceful and restful location with stunning views over the valley towards Combe.

The house was absolutely lovely – the perfect getaway for us and a few friends. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Phoebe was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and welcoming, even greeting us when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back!

This is my second time at the property. It is fantastic. I highly recommend it. The hosting team are excellent. They are so friendly. It really stands out compared to other Airbnb hosts I have dealt with. They couldn't really do enough for us. They allowed us to check in early and check out a bit later. This really helped as we had so much baggage. It would make it difficult to hang around. Thanks so much 🙏

We had a lovely time at Arch Cottage. The house is in a great location, full of character, and with a lovely garden. Will couldn't have been more helpful, and quick ro respond. We were celebrating joint birthdays and it made it extra special being in such a lovely house. Thank you Will.

This is a lovely old property that has been beautifully modernised inside. It is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the high street. The availability of a parking space was an added bonus. Andrew And Emily were fantastic, friendly hosts. Great communication throughout, nothing was too much trouble and they very kindly left a welcome pack with the necessary essentials of bread, milk, butter and wine!! We would highly recommend staying here and will hopefully do so when we return to Marlow.

**A Perfect Stay in the Cotswolds** We had such a wonderful stay at this beautifully presented cottage in the Cotswolds. Immaculate throughout and tastefully decorated, the space felt both cosy and luxurious. A thoughtful touch on arrival was the fresh bread and cake, so welcoming after a journey. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. Deborah, the housekeeper, was fantastic – very responsive and helpful, with clear, timely communication. The location was another highlight – peaceful yet perfectly positioned, with Soho Farmhouse a pleasant walk away. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing get away!

We had a fantastic stay during May half term with the kids - the house is stunning, even better than the photos and the view is spectacular. The house has a very high -end finish to it and had everything you could wish for in terms of amenities. We look forward to visiting again sometime soon

Kate’s Place is beyond description. Perfect in every way. The converted barn has every modern convenience. Comfortable, lots of room, very stylish, quiet and secluded. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows which is always very important we loved it. Easy access to the west, London or the further south. We made several day trips. Kate is an amazing host and made our stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

This trip had a real WOW factor for us. My son and mum loved the hot tub. It was very private but with a beautiful view of the marina. It had a friendly atmosphere as my young son waved to some of the neighbours on their boats and they made his day by waving back. The hot tub was fabulous. Great communication from Hari. Very close to Legoland. We would love to go back and stay again.

We’ve had a lovely stay at this property in Henley. Perfect location quiet but close to the center of town including a short 4 minute walk to the river front. We got an early check in and the host was really helpful and responsive. The property was super clean with everything we needed for the weekend as a family of 6. We enjoyed a day out on a boat which is one thing you can do if you are staying here for the weekend, along with visit the local pubs and restaurants.

Awesome place for my colleague and I to stay the night whilst on a course. The information folder was VERY detailed and the place itself was clean and tidy. Checkin was seamless.

A warm, beautiful and comfortable home. There were 8 adults in our group and the house was perfect, plenty of crockery / cutlery etc and a fully equipped kitchen to cook in. Really peaceful location, lots of parking and Flavia was a great host, really helpful from booking to arrival and was always quick to reply. Simple lockbox self check in, was a fab stay.

We had a lovely stay at Sabina’s place, it was perfect for two families with young children as they had a great play room, plenty of space and good-sized rooms. It was great that it had parking, and also a lovely garden where we could spend a bit of time in the sun for dinner.

Ricky was a super host, next time I’m in Brighton, I’ll definitely be back!! Prior to our arrival, he sent us great recommendations for the local area, and made sure to check in with us when we’d settled in. A great location, on a a quiet road close to Brighton station and local attractions, it instantly felt like a home away from home! The house was stocked with all the essentials and Ricky was kind enough to leave us a bottle of Prosecco - thanks again for the generosity and for a lovely stay!
