Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Berat County

Very friendly & helpful hosts who made me a meal & fresh oranges from the trees. beautiful property, it wasn't really my style but that's my fault for booking what is obviously a traditional Albanian house. Also, I had a bad back injury upon arriving so had to cut my stay short & just go to a modern hotel instead to recover & be closer to a physical therapist. This home is perfect for a family who wants the real Berat experience.

Very good location, close to restaurants and the center. The self-check-in was convenient, and there was enough space for a big group. The lady downstairs was lovely. Parking is very hard to find and challenging due to narrow streets. But Overall, a great place!

The host's family is very nice, warm and thoughtful, and feel at home. The location of the property is suburban, standard pastoral style and one with nature.For people living in the city for a long time, come and experience a close touch of nature.

We had a pleasant stay. House has a beautiful garden where you can sit. Close to attractions. Quiet area. The only point of attention was parking. The street is narrow and parking a large car in the house is a bit difficult.

We've stayed in many Airbnbs during our short trip to Albania, and this one was definitely our favorite. Absolutely beautiful, private, and well located place. Check in and check out we're smooth as the host also owns a restaurant right next door, so there's always someone there to help. There's also a market right next aswell. You can take short walk uphill to the castle or a not so short walk downhill for the city center. There's a private parking for your car if you're renting. Plenty of space you could even fit 2 cars if you really wanted to.

Staying at Olka’s home was an absolute delight! The spacious, light-filled rooms offered stunning views of beautiful Berat, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Our favourite spot was the open patio, where we spent enjoying a peaceful morning coffee or evening beverage. The location was ideal, situated close to all the main attractions, restaurants, and cafés. Olka was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. We would gladly stay here again!​

Amazing location in the heart of the citadel. The garden is really very pleasant and the view from the windows was superb. Small downside with the very noisy water distribution system that can make living with several people complicated.

We were very happy with the place. It all worked out. The contact was very very friendly. We arrived with a rental car and needed the parking lot. We were helped and shown the parking lot. It may be that you are blocked in, but that is normal there. But as soon as you pay attention to the vehicle, someone comes and makes room. We had no problems. The location was also very good. We could reach everything from there on foot. There were many bars and restaurants at the apartment and also shopping. The only thing that bothered me a little was the shower. The water was constantly running into the hallway. Unfortunately, we had nothing to direct the water into the drain. But we were still very satisfied and would come back anytime :)

What a paradise this place! A beautiful terrace with beautiful garden with cheerful flowers. House was full of comforts and really sparkling clean. The hostess was extremely friendly! Upon arrival also fresh homemade fruit juice and jam. It was a quiet place but just out of the alley you came to a street with all kinds of shops We felt at home at this vacation spot. And please come back!

We've stayed at this property before. It met our expectations. Great location and within walking distance. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Very friendly host. We always like to come.

I had an amazing experience during my one-month stay at this Airbnb. The host family welcomed me like a returning family member and treated me wonderfully the entire time. They fed me on multiple occasions, offered tea and yogurt drinks, and even shared homemade fresh-pressed olive oil and fruit from the trees in their yard, making the stay even more special. I would have extended my stay if I didn't have prior commitments in Tirana. After almost three years of full-time solo traveling, this has been my absolute favorite stay. The apartment is situated in a working-class neighborhood, just a perfect 15-minute walk to the tourist activities. There's also a bus stop less than two blocks away, where you can catch a bus to town for just 30 cents. Additionally, my host kindly gave me rides into town several times. It was the perfect place to immerse myself in the local culture. I hope I'm fortunate enough to return someday.

I still can't believe how amazing these people are! Erjoni and Irma are extremely friendly and giving a very warm welcome. Erjoni picked us up by car from the bus station and brought us later to a city center. He even offered to drive us to see the sunset at the castle (however I recommend to have this walk!). Cherry on top - we got an amazing traditional breakfast which was suitable for vegans. The flat is also really nice and big, it has everything you need for your stay. Berat is a really beautiful place and I hope we can go back there another time to discover more. Thank you so much!

Perfectly located for a tour of the three old districts of Berat. Small accommodation but with everything you need. Many restaurants nearby

Very nice apartment with 2 nice rooms with one queen and one single bed each. Appartement was very clean. Our host was very proactive with communication and also answered our questions quickly. I recommend this place. Please note that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator.

Warm apartment, good location for visiting the city.

The communication with the host was the best, and the host's father personally showed me the place and kindly explained it to me. The accommodation was pleasant and spacious, and the beds and blankets were nice, so I was able to get a good night's sleep. It was on the 4th floor, so the view was good, and of course there is an EV. The location is also good, so you can enjoy the Gorica district and the famous Mangalem district with a thousand windows. For travelers Would highly recommend this place.

Staying in this apartment was an amazing experience. Elona and her parents were incredibly friendly and welcoming - some of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Their hospitality was outstanding, and they made us feel right at home. The apartment itself was immaculate - everything was super clean and well-maintained. Getting there was also straightforward. From Tirana, you can take a bus to Berat from the South and North Bus Terminal in the north of the city. Bus line 5/B from the city center will get you there easily. The buses run regularly, and the trip takes about 2 hours. Once in Berat, it’s a short city bus ride to Elona’s place. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended!

Armel's place is beautiful, super well decorated. It is clean and has everything you need for a good stay. We were greeted by his father, a man of incredible kindness. Everything is close by: shops, panoramic view of Berat, restaurant, city with a thousand windows, bridge. I recommend it!

Great place, we liked our stay both in the flat and in Berat

Beyond the location, which is conducive to a beautiful discovery of Berat, Persida's parents are super kind, welcoming and generous. We received a lot of attention from them without them being intrusive. The accommodation is super functional with a very nice view and very easy access to Berat, no need for a car just good sneakers (the coast is steep). Small downside that is not the fault of the host, plan to bring earplugs as a neighbor's dog seems to want to accompany your nights with its constant barking.
