Awesome place! Super spacious and the Sauna was wonderful. Definitely would recommend as a cozy cabin stay in the winter and I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The location was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the view of the lake and spending time by the water was such a treat. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was responsive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape into nature. Would definitely love to come back!

We recently stayed here for our March break and it was an amazing week. Beautiful lake, lots of walking trails and super private and away from the busy city. Accommodations were excellent. I had a fabulous time staying at The Nellie. Surrounded by the entrancing Gatineau River, The Nellie is an ideal place for those looking for a secluded escape. The Gatineau River essentially creates an archipelago, with countless islands to photograph and explore. Lac-Sainte-Marie is accessible by canoe or kayak, though I would recommend bringing a physical map and compass to avoid getting lost. The Nellie is a perfect option for those who want a unique, rustic experience. Keep in mind, there's no electricity or running water, so plan your meals accordingly. Extremely charming nonetheless. If you are less comfortable with a canoe/kayak I would recommend staying at The Dragon. Transportation to either location is available. I didn't meet Bonnie or Jaques, but I did meet Andrew! He was respectful and punctual, very communicative and easy-going. He's a really solid dude. I will plan my next trip to The Nellie in the near future. I already miss it!

This is the nicest Airbnb I've stayed at in years. Alain & Paola are one of the few remaining hosts that care about the small details and personalized touch. The place was super clean, and I'm someone with high standards. The personalized message, guestbook and coffee, tea etc. I was very happy I could being my dog as well! She loved the outdoor space to run around. I'd stay there again!

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Lovely cozy cottage along the water. Enjoyable spot to hang by the fire pit on the beach. Very comfortable and quaint cabin with a well stocked kitchen. Would recommend for nice little getaway.

This home was beautiful with a view to die for. Looking out on the frozen bay, playing pond hockey out there and coming back in to get warm by the fireplace and place some games with the family. It was a peaceful space for our family to spend some much needed time together. It’s so close to the Sens rink and avoids the commute out of the city. Absolutely beautiful area and a truly unique house with a master sanctuary and space for the kids upstairs! Can’t wait visit in warmer weather and make use of that incredible terrace patio with pool and beach!

It was such a relaxing stay! The cabin was cozy and had a full kitchen so we were able to cook and barbecue. They had fire pits and plenty of fire wood. S’mores are a must! Cindy is an excellent host. She is so kind and wants to make sure you have a great time. On our second day there, she brought us local bread and jam. It was such a lovely unexpected surprise. Her communication was great she was very accommodating. The area is beautiful and the cabin is clean and roomie. We will definitely be back! Thank you Cindy for everything. She really went above and beyond for us!

A private spa in nature. We had a great time at the dome and its truly a relaxing night. It was definitely worth the money! Lorne is a very nice person and was a great host which took the time to give us clear instructions about the dome and its facilities.

Arda is a gracious host. She is very welcoming and attentive to your needs. She is very flexible with check in and checking out. She is very friendly. I enjoy coming back every year!

Shirley's place is cozy yet spacious with a well equipped kitchen. It was the perfect place to spend during the Christmas holidays thanks to lots of Christmas decorations and a hot wood stove. Beds and sofas are comfy. Highly recommended.

Every detail was carefully considered, from the stunning surroundings to the little touches that made all the difference—like the wireless chargers conveniently placed throughout. The cottage was immaculate, cozy, and filled with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time away. Communication with the hosts was exceptional. It felt less like dealing with a rental and more like chatting with a friend or neighbor who genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. Every year, we reunite as friends in a chalet… and this one is, without a doubt, the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in. The place radiates peace and natural beauty. We enjoyed coffee by the lake, yoga on the terrace, and peaceful moments by the stunning indoor fireplace. This was our 3rd time staying at Jennifer and Tom's beautiful cottage. It is a great location for day trips to Ottawa yet secluded enough to just relax. Fantastic hosts and lots of personal touches. Highly recommend.

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and clean, with a workable kitchen. The backyard is big in size and has lots of activities.

My family of 9 adults had an awesome weekend at Priyanka's! There was plenty of space in the cottage to comfortably sleep, along with a big comfy couch for watching movies. The kitchen was also fully stocked and a big plus was the Keurig machine which we used every morning before going down to the dock for some time in the sun. Just down the driveway and across the road, the lake access made it a fun space for water activities. We used the provided canoe and inflatable boat. Plus, we brought our own kayak and had no issue loading it on and off the car from this area. The dock is wobbly, however, we had no issue with getting from one end to the other where the floating dock attachment was a great spot for relaxing in the sun. For those of us who stayed on the grass area, there were plenty of Muskoka chairs to relax. For the nights, we finished off with spending time at the fire pit and brought sticks for roasting marshmallows. Overall, great time with the fam and great stay!

Our first AirBNB experience and definitely won’t be our last! We stayed here over the weekend for my husbands birthday and visited Algonquin Park. The space was spotless and had more amenities than expected! Kim was even able to provide a Pack N Play which made our stay 1000x easier with two littles in tow. The park down the street was great too (90’s/2000’s playground equipment… pretty sure my husband and I enjoyed it more than the kids)! The best part was definitely that view! I don’t think we’ll ever stay in a hotel again after this experience. We’ve already gone on Realtor to checkout available properties nearby lol. Definitely recommend!

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!
