In the secluded garden area, a sauna, cold water shower with bathtub, sun loungers and dining area are at your disposal. The surroundings entice with numerous outdoor activities.

From here you have a wonderfully wide view of the Wiesenttal, over the village to the castle ruin Neideck (Streitberg). Pure feeling of well-being! Free wifi. Bathroom with shower and one sep. Toilet (renovated 25!). The spacious kitchen is well equipped. In the living room, a cozy fireplace warms up in the cooler time. Extra bed (f 6th p.) in sleeping niche possible! Dog on request.

Historische, liebevoll renovierte helle und ruhige Wohnung auf zwei Etagen in der Burganlage Egloffstein. Die Wohnung ist nur über den idyllischen Innenhof zu erreichen. Im Eingangsbereich: Esszimmer und Küche. Das urgemütliche Wohn-Schlafzimmer hat einen Kaminofen und führt auf die Zinnen, hoch über dem Tal. Schlafzimmer und Bad sowie 2 zusätzliche Betten befinden sich im Obergeschoss. Die Wohnung ist idealer Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern, Biken oder Klettern an den Felsen in unmittelbarer Nähe.

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farm, the Engelschanze, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful area of Franconian Switzerland. In the Engelschanze there are 2 separate apartments, which can also be booked as a unit for 8-10 people. The large garden can be used by all guests. It stretches over the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own terrace with a view.

If you stay in this centrally located accommodation, you have all the main points of contact nearby. The Upper Franconian cities of Bamberg, Bayreuth, Kulmbach, Kronach, Coburg & Bad Staffelstein are a half-hour drive away. Our garden wing offers enough space for 8 people. The wooden floor and truss harmonize well with the wooden furniture. The wood stove exudes a cozy warmth and makes it cozy!
