Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bay Islands Department

The house is on an island, so that made it unique right away. The island was very clean and the reef was easy to access for scuba diving and snorkeling. Theres only 1 restaurant on the island, but it was in a beautiful location and served delicious food. The house had 2 kayaks which we used daily to explore the area. The boattaxis can get a bit expensive, if you're using them multiple times a day. The location was beautiful, quiet and safe. Theres nothing going on at night, so if you want bars and restaurants, this isn't the place for you. We stayed in West End before Oakridge amd we preferred Oakridge bc of the are being less populated with tourists. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying at the house. The view from the deck never gets old. Francisco was excellent to deal with. He meets you at the house to go over everything there. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

This home is absolutely beautiful. The layout is nicely thought out and allowed for some privacy from the rest of our party if/when needed. We’d start many of our days kayaking out to the reef for snorkeling (the snorkel equipment is great!), having a beautiful breakfast, spending hours in the great pool and finishing the afternoon with a cat nap. Then completing the evening making a delicious dinner made in the fully stocked kitchen and finishing off with a movie (I’m prone to being eaten alive by mosquitoes so I tend to stay inside at dusk). We didn’t utilize the chef service but as someone who enjoys cooking, the kitchen was great! It was one of the most enjoyable experiences we, as a family, can remember.

It was my first time on Utila island. Jose was waiting for me before the Ferry will arrive on the island. It helped us mobilize our bags upon arrival. She welcomed us into her home and was very enjoyable if I needed anything. He even helped me mobilize to the island as I couldn't find transportation available at that time for the season. We shared a good time together during the night of the holidays and was very attentive to my safety, which a father would do. She offered to take us to the island of Neptumes at no extra cost. I was so happy to meet him and share with him. José is very pleasant and made me feel at home. No additional cost. Your interest is to keep sharing with your new friends who arrive at the Airbnb. If so, one wants it. It is very respectful. I would definitely visit her again. Thank you Jose for supporting me in a difficult time for me, being on the island without knowing me. Your human quality is GREAT friend.

I spent a week here and this property is everything you could look for in an island vacation home. Located, quite literally, off the beaten path (I recommend an SUV/4WD vehicle), this home is directly on the beach AND has a newly added infinity pool. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and the dual sinks and showers in the bathroom are gorgeous. There are ACs in every bedroom & the living room. The property manager is very communicative and quick to respond – every question I had before or during was answered enthusiastically quick. The property was super clean, and the outdoors were somehow always tidied – the beach was raked every morning. If you’re looking to be around the hustle and bustle of the West End, this location isn’t for you. If you’re seeking seclusion & relaxation, have the groundskeeper hand you a fresh cut coconut while you sit at the pool, walk directly from your living room into the water in 10 seconds, this place is for you. You won’t regret it

My partner and I loved our time at Starfish house. We wanted to get off the beaten path of the more touristy areas of the island and get some privacy. The house is gorgeous. The quality & cleanliness of the home was at a standard found in the US, which is uncommon in Roatan. We enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves & paddleboardng out to snorkel on the reef. We found lots of starfish & conch! Keep in mind: 1)We were under the impression that the beach front/community was private, but it isn't. we arrived to local children climbing on house stuff and trying to come to the top deck while I was sunbathing. The owners took care of this, but locals were still fishing in front of our place & on the dock the entirety of our stay. We adjusted our expectatons & it was fine, but would've been nice to know ahead of time. 2.) Use bug spray. The bugs will get you sooner or later, luckily we've lived in the tropics before so are used to it.

So beautiful!! The communication was great and so helpful! The no AC was hard at times but lots of fans helped! The view was incredible!! The whole place opens up to the ocean! Would have been nice to have a full length mirror. Minor thing. The windows in the bedrooms was so fun to have that beach view from bed! Such a lovely place! Each night the sunset was so breathtaking!

Nilda was great! Super fast communication - I arrived a couple of hours early and she was able to get me in. The place looks just like the photos - A/C & WiFi worked great! You can basically walk across the street to the beach! Had the basics to make coffee / mini fridge, etc. Good water pressure in shower. I did kiteboarding at nearby Camp Bay Lodge (which is walking distance) and had lunch and dinner at their restaurant each day. I was able to take a taxi from the ferry for $60 each way - no car for me - but definitely arrange for your taxi ride back in advance because this place is very remote. Also stop at the SuperMarket before making the journey out here - because there really are no stores close by. There are a couple of other small restaurants walking distance away but I did not try them. There is some noise - motorcycles going by, lots of dogs roaming around and some horses! I didn't have trouble sleeping because I had a white noise app running at night.

If you’re into beautiful natural areas this is definitely a good place. Blanca is just a wonderful person, she’s very kind and sweet, ready to help with anything you might need..

We had a wonderful stay at Rosalie's and would highly recommend! Rosalie was a fantastic host and organized everything from airport pick up to drop-off for us seamlessly. She was incredibly helpful and very nice to interact with. The space was perfect for our needs. Bed was super comfy and location was ideal. Great place, great host, and recommend staying here if you get the chance to do so!

I love staying at this property! I have stayed at this property multiple times over the last couple of years , each time in a different part of his property. I love how he has it set up and it has beautiful surroundings . His wonderful and charming family is am added bonus as well. I come to Roatan often and his place is my 1st choice for location and value . A+++

The photos don’t do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful with first-rate furnishings and finishes. Comfortable king-size bed, enormous shower, reliable high-speed internet, and two large TVs! The unbelievably clear, turquoise water is just a few steps away. I can’t think of a better way to spend my day. Sunset happy hour overlooking the Caribbean can’t be beat.

The place as well as the host are incredible! She went all out to make us feel the best. Best host ever and the location of the property is the best.

A very nice cabin and as a good location, with access to the beach and very close to Trujillo too, it has lights and rechargeable fans in case the power is cut, the host is always very attentive and resolves all the inconvenience. i recommend it.
