Very nice modern house very well equipped and welcoming with plenty of products/food base available and a great coffee machine. A much-loved hot tub! A very well-equipped kitchen for our group of 8. Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Idyll in the countryside with pool

We spent two nights in the great vacation home with pool and enjoyed the time very much! Everything was very spacious and cozy, and the pool was a dream! The separate guest house was convenient for withdrawing. The sauna was also an additional plus. Lying by the pool, relaxing and going swimming again and again or playing volleyball in the water was so nice that we didn't even go to the beach. Jonas was very kind and accommodating. For example, he immediately brought us the net for volleyball in the water. We can definitely recommend the vacation home and will be happy to come back! 🙂

It is the second time we came back to this lovely place during winter time. Warm, cozy, private and very peaceful. Seaside very close to the location, around 10 min of walking, makes it very easy to catch sunrises and sunsets. Very comfortable bed, large TV, very well equipped. Absolutely recommend this place!!

Magnus is a great host and the stay at his family home was wonderful. The house is very cozy and fully equipped. We enjoyed the pool, the Sonos speakers in the whole house, the BBQ and generally the whole vibe this house gives. The whole residence and garden was available to us exclusively. We had three sleeping rooms to ourselves, two bathrooms, a big kitchen and a really nice living room. Also the outdoor areas are very nice. Having a washing machine and dryer was useful. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Magnus was always available via messages and super helpful, no matter if it came down to topics around the accomodation, what to do or where to go. He even made sure we received a present for a small inconvenience. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and our hosts. We recommend them kindly.

We had an excellent stay at Daniel's house. The view is splendid, and it is very quiet. The only difference from the photos is that there isn't a large sandy beach, so there's no need to bring your children's sand toys ;-) However, there is a trampoline that is very popular. The nearby mini-golf is also great.

We were two families with a total of 5 children from 7-15 years as well as grandmother and grandfather who spent an absolutely wonderful week in this amazing house. The kids were especially happy for the pool and trampoline. And it was only 20 minutes to walk down to a nice sand beach. The house has very nice decor and is very well equipped. In addition, Lisa and Rolf are super nice and generous hosts. We felt very welcome. We can highly recommend a visit here.

A lovely and cozy house. Everything is well thought out and very convenient (though a coat rack at the entrance would have been helpful, but we managed). It’s great that pets are allowed—we stayed here for New Year’s so our dogs could have a break from fireworks. There really weren’t many fireworks around. Thanks!

Fantastic apartment with everything you'd need. It was immaculately clean, has a private car park and was easy to find. The onsite restaurant is nice and there is a lovely beach just a few minutes walk away. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are wondering😉). The garden is a dream and we sat/lay in the sun for an hour or two in the afternoon and watched the chicken gang on their rounds. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it is completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe it will be better with the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare when we were there. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and straightforward both before and on site.

We spent the turn of the year in Schönhagen with peace and convenience. The apartment is located not far from the beach and is equipped with everything you need. We used the sauna in the basement to ourselves. The place is a good starting point for numerous excursions, especially even in warmer weather by bike. Thanks to Jan for the nice welcome.
