We absolutely loved Jamie’s place!!! Not only is the scenery idyllic, the cottage is the perfect size and we loved the decor. There was nothing that could have made our visit better. Next time we come out this way we will be sure to book a longer stay!

Rowanberry Bothy Retreat - At one with nature

OliviaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The Rowanberry Bothy is an absolutely beautiful slice of the highlands. It is peaceful, well equipped, and the wood burning stove kept us cozy on cold nights. Carol is extremely welcoming and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and gave some great local recommendations. The surroundings are stunning - I only wish we could've stayed longer to explore all the hills and waterfalls in the area!

This place was just lovely. Clean, modern and my husband and I enjoyed having the space to relax and be in a home from home. Andy was an excellent host always checking in. Highly recommended on route for the nc500. Extremely well priced for what you get ! Thank you Andy for being such a great host.

Croft House, Armadale Bay on NC500

HayleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an incredible cottage! We spent 10 nights here, and I didn’t want to leave. Joyce, the owner, has created a beautiful holiday home, in what is an absolutely stunning setting. Unfortunately communication with Sonia - the property manager, wasn’t great. She completely ignored one email, and didn’t respond well to another requesting the lockbox code, when at the time the lockbox code didn’t appear in the accompanying documentation. She also took communication out of Airbnb, requesting log-in to another site in order to access details, which contradicts Airbnb’s recommended procedures. The cottage is stunning though, and our experience was in no way impacted by the communication issues - they’re just something to be aware of when booking. I would return again in a heartbeat.

A wonderful house to spend a few nights in on a tour of the region. A perfect location in Durness. Spotless and very homely - with a lovely lounge to relax in and very comfortable bedrooms. Highly recommended.

The Tin Shed, Speyside

CatrionaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had the most wonderful stay at the Tin Shed. It was the perfect Autumnal get away. The wood fire stove made the place so cosy and peaceful and we enjoyed lots of smores and lovely home cooked meals made on the stove. Ross was very helpful and kind, chatting with us and suggesting lots of local places to eat. The location is absolutely stunning and inspiring. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our stay.
