Amazing environment with open fields and two lakes within 500 m. The place is called the island thanks to its location. The cottage belongs to a small farm and was built in the 19th century. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with cozy sloping ceilings. Downstairs there is a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower and WC. Simple standard but high cozy factor. Glazed fireplace is available that heats up the whole house in case it gets chilly. The cabin has no close neighbors, if you do not count the deer and the hares who are happy to visit. The nearest lake is bathing friendly.

Sjöstugan- our gem right by the seaside! Private house with sleeping loft, kitchen, beautiful large room with fireplace and views over the lake. Wood fired sauna with swim in the lake right next door. Hot tub on the dock- always hot. Swimming jetty 5 meters on the door. Access to a boat. If you want to buy a fishing license, contact host. Wood for the stove and sauna is included. The yard is fenced all the way to the lake and our Beagel dog Vide is often loose outside. He's nice. All bed sheets, towels and cleaning are included.

Forget all the everyday worries of this spacious and peaceful home. Here you have all the possibilities for pleasant fishing experiences in the tar that rest just in front of the houses. For those who love walking, here you have a great lovely nature to discover with great opportunities for mushrooms and berry bliss. For that bath week there is also a large nice lake to reach within walking distance with small freshly made stone pier. Gather the gang and fill up the coolers, it's just the imagination that stops for lovely summer days.

We loved this home, and Mats was a truly wonderful host. His gracious hospitality made us feel so welcome, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay, even finding a bike trailer for our young boys to enjoy and stocking the kitchen with thoughtful treats just for them. The house itself is cozy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and set in a gorgeous forested area close enough to the sea to hear the waves from the back porch. Our stay was so relaxing and we can’t wait to return for another lovely holiday!

This place was such a unique gem to spend a few days in the Swedish countryside. The villa was really nice and cosy and matched the photos well. The best part, however, was the truly unique location right at the harbour front, with beautiful views over the garden, harbour and animal life (including some sweet ducks in the garden). We tried a few of the restaurants at the harbour and truly enjoyed eating at "Wägga Fisk & Delikatessrökeri" which also had an ice cream shop. The host Johan was very responsive and replied quickly to any messages. Very happy with this stay and would highly recommend to anyone.

Jacob`s house is really nice, enough space, lovely garden and terrace, well equipped kitchen, sauna for relaxing, close to everything you need, close to the bus station, space for two cars. I felt very comfortable in the house and the communication with Jacob was always great, very friendly. I can recommend to everyone who wants to stay in Ahus at a quiet place close to the beach.
