The place is great! Very cozy and beautifully renovated. We didn't miss anything and we felt very comfortable! The hostess is very friendly and accommodating and you can contact her at any time with questions and requests. The value for money is great!

In May 2025, the three of us stayed in the Zwergenstübchen for five days with a dog. Everything was clean, well equipped and very quiet. Even the dog found a place to sleep with an extra blanket, a towel, bowls, disposal bags for on the go and a bag of treats. The location is perfect in nature, many hiking trails from the accommodation and the Black Forest high road with highlights is close by car. We felt very comfortable in the Zwergenstübchen and recommend it.

We enjoyed staying at the Sonnenhäusle very much. The house is quiet and you can start hiking right at the door. We also received tips for hikes, which we tested directly and found to be good. 🙂 The house is well suited for 4 adults and the spacious garden invites you to relax. Communication beforehand and at check-in was excellent. The house itself has everything you need and the sauna after a long hike was an absolute treat. We would stay there again anytime!

Karin and Wolfgang welcomed me very warmly and I immediately felt welcome in your house. They are very helpful and always available, wonderful conversation partners and tipsters and you feel comfortable and arrived from the beginning. It's all absolutely straightforward and it's the perfect place to relax or be active in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is optimal. Super clean and tidy, friendly furnishings and flooded with light. The sunny balcony offers a magnificent view of the surrounding nature and invites you to relax. The kitchen and bathroom leave absolutely nothing to be desired. The bed is very comfortable and guarantees a good night's sleep together with the incredible silence. You can park right at your doorstep. For me, it was the absolute right decision. I'd love to come back. Many thanks, Karin and Wolfgang, for the exceptionally beautiful week!

Great place! Great Host!

We had a fantastic time staying at Helga's place. This was our first holiday with our daughter (7 months) and we especially wanted to recharge: the garden, the beautiful spaces, the location and the surroundings appealed to us. It was a very nice stay: there were cozy seats everywhere, both inside and outside, in the kitchen there were all cooking utensils so we could cook extensively, Helga was incredibly hospitable and regularly brought us fresh eggs and thought along with outings and if we needed anything. In addition, we had all the privacy and no one was bothered by (nocturnal) howling - so that we were also very pleasant for us. In short, all the ingredients for an amazing stay

The place was really great. Everything is lovingly and harmoniously furnished. There was really nothing missing there. We will definitely go there again. It's worth more than 5 stars. It's a beautiful apartment. Communication was also completely straightforward.

Very pleasant accommodation in the center of all possible activities in the Black Forest. We stayed as a family with two small children and the accommodation was absolutely suitable for us. We really appreciate some toys and games that the kids always throw themselves into right after they arrive from a trip. Communication with the host went smoothly. Anja asked us several times proactively if everything was okay. We definitely recommend it!

Peter is a very good host who responds quickly to messages. He was very friendly and helpful, even when we dropped 2 wine glasses. We definitely enjoyed it and would definitely come back here again.

Traude is a super sweet person who welcomed us very warmly. We were allowed to take our bikes into the house in an extra room. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and we didn't miss anything. If we ever cycle to Freudenstadt again, we will definitely stay here again. The nearby bike paths are also a dream.

Nice spacious accommodation for 2 people. Very nice to have a mini terrace to enjoy being outside. 15 minutes' walk to the historic center of Alpirsbach which is very pretty. Lots of hikes in the area. Marlis hosted us very well, I would not hesitate to go back if I return to the area.

Ursula and her husband are very friendly, helpful hosts. The apartment is very cozy, clean, well equipped, quietly located, great seating area with garden. I would leave again anytime.

One of the best vacation apartments we have stayed in so far! There's nothing missing. It is tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The kitchen equipment also goes far beyond the basic equipment. Europa-Park can be reached in less than 30 minutes. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay. Eunice is extremely kind and makes you feel right at home. The loft is beautiful and extremely clean. It’s very comfortable with all the amenities. The deck is spectacular. We enjoyed wine and cheese on the deck every evening. The view is peaceful and breathtaking. There are many beautiful hiking trails within walking distance. We highly recommend a relaxing few hours at Caracalla! The Gasthaus Auerhahn was wonderful for dinner. This experience was definitely a highlight of our road trip around Germany.

We loved our stay and would gladly come back. Great for kids: lots of games, big garden with football goal, slide. Spotlessly clean, confortable bed and sofa bed. Great communication with host. Quiet and private. Easy driving distance to other towns/restaurants/shopping. Access to bike trails.
