Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bahu

We stayed at this property for four days with our family of eight, and it was a great experience. Since we are from the plains, the first day felt a bit challenging—the property is at a high altitude, and the narrow roads through the hills were a little scary for us. But after that, everything just got better. The hospitality was amazing. Mohar ji, the owner, is kind and always ready to help. Amar ji, the chef, cooked everything we asked for perfectly, and the North Indian food was especially delicious. Tirathram ji, the caretaker, was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a refreshing stay, enjoyed a small bonfire and barbecue, and loved the peaceful surroundings. The view from the property is breathtaking, with beautiful mornings and starry nights. If you're looking for a quiet and scenic place to relax with great food and warm hospitality, this is the perfect spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Great view outside the stay. Could watch the Sunrise right from our window. Chappe Ram Ji took good care of all the necessities. Had a great time here .

So special, peaceful and magical. From the moment I came- Megh and his beautiful family were there to take me with a taxi from the most close city and after to drive me to the home. The space is quiet, peaceful and has lovely people living around. The beautiful smell of the wood oven fire places, the sound of nothing in the morning as you enjoy a tea. You are really one with the mountains and forest. Yummy curries made with love from megh and his wife Rena. Chai. Aloo paratha, curd and pickles. I made most of my food and went for shopping in Banjar, the most close village. It is 1 hour walking but megh can drive you or take things for you- if you wish. If your interested in a beautiful walk in the sacred himalayas, my time here is an experience i will remember forever. The house is SO very comfy, great kitchen, warm blankets for winter as it can be very cold but with the sauna and fire its lovely. You can feel how much love went into this space and simones beautiful energy all around.

I only stayed at Mandukya for a night and wished I stayed longer! This place is luxury in the mountains, beautiful villa with stunning views and modern amenities in the room. The loft was my favourite besides the 5 beautiful dogs in the property. Staff were very friendly, super responsive and made my stay worthwhile. A plus is that they run a full fledged kitchen, with digital ordering facility! Loved the overall experience.

It’s a great place to stay. Centrally located, beautiful view by the river and homely food. The host, Prateek and his entire stuff, are very welcoming and super helpful. Surely going to recommend this place to anyone who will be visiting Jibhi.

The food, served based on the menu, was delicious, with our top recommendations being Rara Chicken and Rajma Chawal. They also guided us to nearby attractions, providing clear directions. Additionally, Door Ji assisted us in coordinating with local taxi services, ensuring smooth travel and a hassle-free return. I highly recommend this cottage for a vacation—it’s a perfect choice for families or groups.

We had an amazing stay at Tragopan Chalets, Tandi! The wooden rooms were not only beautifully designed but also incredibly cozy and comfortable. The views from the chalet were absolutely breathtaking—waking up to those stunning mountain and valley vistas was a highlight of our trip. The caretakers were extremely warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was another standout—every meal was delicious and prepared with so much care. It truly felt like a perfect mountain getaway. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and great hospitality!
