Beachfront vacation rentals in Bahía Bioluminiscente

We couldn't have been happier to find this place. If you walk out back and go about 100 yd to the right, there is a beautiful swimming/ snorkeling area. We went to two other beaches in the area, but none of them compared to the one outback. If you want horses, the horses are also outside the house and around the beach in the afternoons. I you also love the sound of waves, it is the perfect location. You can hear the waves from inside the bedroom when you're sleeping. Although it can be a little loud, it is peaceful.

Everything was perfect, clean and well-located.

This is a truly special place. From the sweeping views of the ocean to the rooftop veranda, well-stocked house with everything one might need for trips to the surrounding beaches, it was exactly what we were looking for. The beds were firm and comfy, the ceiling fans and open windows (with screens, we had very few mosquito bites) kept the house extremely cool so we didn't miss AC at all. Would be an excellent space for older kids, having a toddler did mean that we needed to keep an eye on him since the stairs up to the tower and down to the beach were in a condition best for bigger legs and more coordination. The property manager was extremely kind with excellent local recommendations and securing us a packnplay, and the host was quickly responsive and flexible with our needs for moving our checkout time. If you are looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place, but if you are looking for something truly special with real character, you will not be disappointed.

Had a lovely stay at this home. Lots of great restaurants within a 5 minute drive. And the neighborhood and neighbors were amazing

The apartment was wonderful! Very comfortable for my family of four. We did lose power for a portion of our stay, but they had flashlights and a lantern available, which was very appreciated. The beach items, including towels, an umbrella, and a cooler were great to have! There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance! Really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again in the future!

During our week long stay Carlos was very attentive and answered all our questions quickly. The home was exactly as pictured and described. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with everything we needed. The pool was very nice, but be advised it is closed on certain days so check with Carlos for the schedule if that’s important to you. The small waterfront area with shops and restaurants is just down the street, a walkable distance. There is another small local town close by car and a bigger town about 10 mins away with all the shopping and food spots you could possibly need. It was nice to be away from the highly tourist area but still accessible to many activities. It’s about 1 hour to San Juan and airport. Would stay again.

This is a truly romantic place where you will feel at one with the ocean!!! Maybe not the most comfortable, but the most atmospheric!!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Naguabo Condo! The highlight was definitely the private rooftop patio with its breathtaking views—perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. The private beach was a dream for swimming and relaxing, and the community pool was a great bonus. The location was ideal—close enough to Naguabo to enjoy local culture, food, and charm, while still feeling peaceful and secluded. The entire experience was relaxing, authentic, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back! 🌴✨

This house fit our family's needs perfectly! The house was clean, comfortable with lots of different spaces to cook, eat, relax, and read. Beds were comfortable, we loved the outdoor shower. We had two children with us-- ages 9 and 13. The kids' room is super fun and the 9 year old loved it. Our family likes to cook together. The kitchen was very well equipped and we grilled several nights instead of going out. The house REALLY is just a 1-2 minute walk from the beach ( I was skeptical about this description, but it is TRUE!) and in a gated community. We greatly appreciated all the beach equipment, e.g., lounge chairs, beach towels, cart to carry supplies to and from! We enjoyed some private beach time every day! We also visited El Junque twice for two great hikes, took the 13 year old horseback riding -- and took the ferry for a day on Culebra. Sebastian was extremely helpful at check in and throughout the stay. Super happy with our choice of house! We would stay here again.

We loved this space! Janos was super welcoming and very accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. The beach in the backyard was very private (saw one other family just once- and that’s it) and had some really cool shells. Very close to town with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Within a short drive to everywhere on the island. We will return again. Thank you for hosting us!

Vieques is a very special place and this rental encompasses the spirit of the island. The house has beautiful views of the ocean and is a short walk down the hill to beach access. It is spacious for large groups to spread out and has all the necessities in the kitchen. We especially enjoyed the porch and pool/lounge area. We made good use of the beach chairs and towels while exploring the island. The house is located closer to Isabel Segunda so a very short distance to the ferry and other businesses. We really enjoyed our stay at this rental!

It’s our 4th year having vacation in Vieques. This was the first year we lost power during the vacation. The house has the solar panels, we still had the WIFI to search online whats going on. We can use the pool. The outdoor grill can make food. It’s the best experience.

Nice place to stay at, beach is 3 minutes walking distance from apartment. Good fishing area . Many activities close by.

Holly and this home are wonderful! Holly was so kind to accommodate us one day early when our prior place did not recover from the power outage. She met us at the ferry and walked us to the house too. She gave spot on recommendations for dining, beaches and bio bay tour. The view of the ocean from the patio is incredible. Pictures do not do it justice. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay with kids.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Dos Palmas-Pool on Vieques. We wish we had stayed longer! The villa was close to town, grocery and restaurants. The pool was such a lovely spot to chill out in between beach hopping around Vieques. Everything we needed was provided-coffee maker, toaster, blender, beach towels, beach chairs. We rented a vehicle through Bravo Boys as well which was delivered to us at the ferry and we were able to return it to the ferry area too. Danielle was super responsive to every email and question I had. Victor was our contact on island and he was equally available and responsive. I can't say enough about the stunning location; sunrise and sunset by the pool or upper porch, and we finished the day with family games on the porch as well. Sweet little beach about ten steps away with very few people around. Only drawback-there is no "living room" space in the villa; just bedrooms and kitchen. Worked for us because we were out most of the time! AC great!

Los Cocos was the perfect getaway for a week. The home sits right on the ocean, and the first thing you notice upon arrival is the soothing sound of the waves. Rene welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. The house was spotless and just the right size for the two of us. Inside, the home features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The furniture is comfortable and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed, though we only cooked breakfast. The house has one bathroom, which was in great working order. The two bedrooms are located off the main living space. While there’s no air conditioning, the ocean breeze keeps things comfortable most of the time. One night was particularly still, making it a bit warm for sleeping, but there are plenty of fans to help keep cool. The outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. There’s ample seating, along with two hammocks. The beach was an incredible bonus—we spent hours relaxing by the water

Location is perfect! We wish we could have stayed here another night. Darla met us up the road so there was no confusion. Checkout time is early but she allowed us to borrow beach towels for the day and use a locker. The large soaking tub was such a treat after a long day of travel. Great stay!

Tom is friendly and was very responsive. The view from his balcony is spectacular! The area is so cute and walkable. We absolutely loved it! Tom even shared some flowers and a plantain from his garden.

We are a family of four - we stayed at Vieques for four days. This place was perfect for all our needs. It’s walkable from/to ferry terminal, family market, bank/atm, taxi stand and a bunch of good restaurants. (Scooters etc are not legally available for rent to a group with under-21 members.) We covered a lot of beaches centered from here including the black beach, Caracas, sun beach and la Chiva as well as the biobay trip. The central location helps get taxis at reasonable prices. Lastly the patio is a great place to sit and chill, just looking out at the ocean and sky!

We had an issue with a previous Airbnb and Dorca was very empathetic and accommodating. She let us check in early since we didn't have a place to stay. She saved our vacation. Everything was spotless and smelled great! The location is very close to the beach, and we felt very safe there. She provided more amenities than I expected. We would definitely return.

We loved our stay at Costa Del Mar. Our hosts were very responsive and helped us with our minor issues very quickly. They even had beach chairs and a cooler we used during our stay. There are very active roosters at the neighbor's house, but it's Puerto Rico so it's expected. Bring a sound machine or ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

We loved our stay at CasaLinda. It was peaceful and beautiful. We loved listening to the ocean. We were there during the full moon and it was amazing. The house had all the amenities we were looking for. Close to town and easy to get to all of the beautiful beaches in Vieques. Denise, Annette and Melyssa we’re fabulous hosts. Very easy to communicate with when needed. We’re looking forward to another visit.

This Place Maria has is a paradise. 20 feet from the beach, beautiful views. They made me feel at home, I'll definitely come back. Thank u so much Maria, plus her husband is from MI Barrio.
