We had a lovely stay. House was as described, clean and had all the things we needed. Would recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing little cottage set on a working farm. The views across the fields were absolutely stunning—truly a breath of fresh air. It was the ideal place to unwind and disconnect. Mary and her team were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even offered us a later checkout, which was such a kind gesture (though we sadly had to decline as we were eager to get home to see our son). The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a peaceful day. And the complimentary bottle of wine, A lovely touch—it went down very well! The nearby village of East Harling is just a 30-minute walk away and has everything you need for a quiet retreat—whether it’s grabbing some basic groceries or enjoying a drink at one of the friendly local pubs. It’s great not having to rely on the car at all. We would highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We’ll definitely be back.

A fabulous, well equipped home with a great view and visiting wildlife - pheasants, hares and swallows. Easy walking distance to Suffolk Barn for our family wedding and short drive to Bury St Edmunds. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and calming colour scheme. Extremely well equipped kitchen and generous welcome provisions made it easy to feel straight at home. We would love to come back to explore the local area and spend more time taking in the view and relaxing in the tub. Thank you to our hosts who were so accommodating and welcoming.

Pips Cottage was a lovely quaint place, based in a location that opened up lots of other opportunities to get out and about around Suffolk. Ringsfield itself is a sleepy place, with just a pub for leisure time. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, but accessible enough to other areas. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything you needed for a few days away. Would highly recommend.

We went for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The hot tub and Sauna was just lovely and very relaxing. Lovely cottage perfect for 4 people. The host was very responsive and recommended a fabulous restaurant nearby. I would advise to come to Diss by car as the cab service was not great so had difficulty getting about. You have to book cabs in advance. Overall it was Great weekend

Great stay in a lovely location. Everything we needed on our doorstep, the sea, a few restaurants and pubs. View from the house was amazing and a delight to open the curtains each morning. The cottage had a quant and homely welcoming feel. Rowland (and his dad!) were always on hand if we needed the smallest thing (not that we did really). Overall a lovely place to stay with our 3 year old for a few days away, close to the coast.

We had a lovely stay at Amanda’s place. The location is perfect for exploring the local area on foot and trips out in the car. We had nice meals at both the local pubs, they are both within easy walking distance. Amanda’s place is perfect, very clean and full of character. We love Suffolk and have now found a great place to stay on future visits.

A lovely stay for the weekend to visit family. Nice and clear instructions and communication. The place was lovely and clean and well presented throughout. It made us feel right at home and was a very comfortable stay.

Great place to get away, meet with family and relax. Very dog friendly, which is a massive plus for us. Clean & tidy. Private. Bumped into Chloe just as we were leaving and she was friendly and chatty. I have no doubt if we'd have needed her for anything (which we didn't) she would have sorted it.

Lovely accommodation. Very rustic and would suit most who like a bohemian lifestyle. We enjoyed our stay, although the uneven floors and steep stairs to the top bedroom presented a challenge. We arrived very late, in the dark, and although we had a little difficulty finding the property, Kate was very helpful, and we found our way. Overall, a great stay.

Sam and her husbands were wonderful hosts. The cottage is very cosy and well positioned for exploring the nearby countryside, villages and towns. Beautiful cottage Ina pretty part of Suffolk. Bed linen was high quality and a comfortable bed!

The cottage was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and well equipped. I think it was even better than the photos! Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The garden was lovely to sit in and secure for my dog. Nick advised us on the quieter dog walks and we had some lovely walks in the countryside and along the river, with some stunning views. I found that all the dog walkers I met were very considerate and put their dogs on leads even before they realised that mine was reactive. This made the walks much more relaxed than usual. Whilst I didn’t use my car all weekend, as it was just me and my dog, along with the walks there are many things to see and do in this area. I would love to come back with my husband and explore it further. I would definitely recommend the cottage.

The Old Reading Rooms is a brilliant home to stay at. Stylish, large, super clean and comfortable, easy parking, and a great location. The house really is a diamond. Linton is lovely and super for exploring the local area, we did Saffron Walden, Henry Moore's Garden, Royston Caves, Bartlow Hills, endless possibilities. Louise is a great host and made us feel really welcome with some super recommendations. We'll be back!

Easily one of the loveliest places I’ve stayed - beautiful setting and such a warm and welcoming cottage. Sue was a wonderful host and I felt right at home, able to switch off and relax from the minute I arrived. So glad I found this gem - I will definitely be back!

A perfect place for a little getaway. The house was lovely and had everything you’d need. The added bonus of a cream tea and Prosecco waiting for us on arrival was such a lovely touch! Will definitely look to stay here again when back in Bardwell.

Tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful setting the cottage was lovely! Very rural and quiet with everything we needed for a welcome break. Would happily have stayed longer and would love to return. Thanks very much.

Perfect location in the country side. Easy to drive to Stowmarket. Plus good train links if you didn’t want to drive to Bury St Edmund. Accommodation modern and very clean. Loved the bird song in the back garden over a cup of tea. Highly recommend.
