House vacation rentals in Azay-sur-Cher

We had a great time at this house, ideal for a dinner with friends. The space is pleasant, well-maintained, and very well-equipped for hosting. The warm atmosphere and the outdoor setting are a real plus! Small downside to note: the noise detector outside is a little sensitive, it sometimes triggers even when you simply talk on the garden furniture or play basketball. Nothing prohibitive, but keep in mind if you plan to enjoy the outdoors. Overall a very good experience that we gladly recommend!

The stay was great, it is an authentic cottage on the property where the owners also live. The house is cozy and rural and very neat and clean. It is very rural but at a good distance from all amenities and there is plenty to do if you want, many beautiful castles nearby and beautiful towns. The garden and pool are beautiful and we enjoyed this very much, as well as the sound of all the birds around us. Anne and Yvon are very attentive, friendly and helpful owners who are there for you at all times should you need this, on the other hand, they also respect your privacy. Absolutely recommended!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We had a lovely stay at this place, located 5 minutes from Beauval Park. We were able to enjoy the pool and petanque court offered, as well as the barbecue. A bottle was even kindly offered to us by Damien. Very responsive to messages, communication went very well and many recommendations on restaurants and bars were given to us. We won't hesitate to return!

My family and I, we have a 2 year old had a lovely time! The house is as it looks in photos, the location was great, a lot to do around if you have a car, which I recommend you have, not sure how else you’d get around. The pool was a great part of our stay and it was so nice to have a backyard. We are traveling Europe and this was such a nice balance of rest and exploration.

Our stay was most pleasant at Valerie and Bruno's place. They're really friendly. To visit the Loire Valley, the place is perfect if you have a car.

All your suggestions were wonderful. Within 20 minutes of many main chateaus. Had a magical time in the Loire Valley. Hot Air Balloon memories for a lifetime. Was very relaxing coming back to peace and quiet after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend!!!

We used the accommodation at Florence's for a stopover on the way home from Brittany and would have liked to have stayed longer. Florence is one of the warmest women I've ever met and that's reflected in the whole apartment. Everything is lovingly furnished, a fantastic garden with plenty of seating. Florence took care of us and we had a nice exchange.

Bertrand's apartment is very clean and well appointed. Its location allows quick access to the various shops. Bertrand is very responsive to our requests.

The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!

This beautiful old house very well furnished, with quality and good taste; Very quiet. Nature view. 2 bedrooms with each bathroom WC, great equipment. Everything is there: soaps, coffee, cooking utensils, etc... everything to live right away. In short, we want to come back! Thank you Pascale 😊
