This was our second time at Stephane’s place and it was just as we remembered. A very special place. It is a great place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet and reconnect with nature. All while listening to some great music and discovering the small amusing details. Thank you for sharing your incredible place. We needed and enjoyed our time here.

Travelled to attend a family wedding. The cottage was ideally situated near other family members and the venue. Waterfront views were beautiful and beach access allowed us to enjoy kayaking-although it was still a little chilly for swimming ! Lilacs were in bloom and saw several deer both in the yard and at nearby nature reserve. The Point- provided great food and live music in walking distance!

Emily’s house was a dream and is highly recommended. Our family of 5 (with 3 kids under 10) spent a week at Emily’s house while in Ottawa to help out a family member. We were so grateful for Emily’s hospitality. As we were there during yet another wave of the pandemic, coupled with virtual school, we were basically in lockdown at the house - it could have been a very unpleasant week. Instead, it was truly wonderful to have Emily’s beautiful home to feel grounded in. The house was clean, comfortable, exactly as represented in the pictures, and we were struck by the attention to detail. The communication with Emily was perfect. After a week in the house, we joked about staying a week longer! There is no doubt that we will return.

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! My family all enjoyed their stay at this homey cottage. Loved the close proximity to the river. The back yard, being fully fenced, was great for our dog. We enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit outside in the evening. The kitchen & bathroom were clean & fully stocked with everything we needed. The neighbour’s were very friendly, the hot tub was relaxing & Pierre was very quick to respond to my questions.

Great place in a good location, walking distance to several nice restaurants and bars. The house is quite spacious, with plenty of parking. Hosts were attentive and quick to respond to queries. The carpet upstairs is a bit old but the rest was clean and well-furnished.

Perfect little spot that was super walkable: 25 minute walk from Carleton, 20 minute walk to the grocery store, river walk right out the door, and many shops, cafes, and restaurants close walkable as well. Quick to get a Lyft to the airport. Loved the bathtub.

Patrick’s home was a perfect space for my family and I during a week long stay in Ottawa. It was in a quiet but great central location, right across from the experimental farm and close to anything we needed. The home itself was stunning, thoughtfully designed and perfect for a family to stay with everything we could need. I would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in the area and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This was one of the first AirBnbs in a while that truly felt like a home. It was quiet for sleeping at night, was equipped with everything you need if you’re working remotely or just staying there for a few days. Having the whole foods right across the street was also amazing! Highly recommend James’s place.

Kristina has a wonderful property. Great location, fantastic amenities and a very comfortable home. Great location in Barrhaven as it was perfect for us visiting our family living in Ottawa. We hope to be able to stay at Kristina's in the near future.

Pretty view of the Rideau River. Quiet spot to relax, take a stroll around the neighborhood. The kitchen had everything that was needed to cook. Comfy bed with a great view.

The pictures don’t do justice, the cottage is beautiful and surrounded by amazing views. The property itself is super clean and very quiet. John was proactive, responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to coming back again!

Highlights of the stay were a really great backyard with pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and place was very well equipped. Host was accommodating and responsive.

The house was exactly what we needed for our trip to the Ottawa area—exactly as depicted in the description! My partner arrived before I did, and Anne was very responsive, answering his questions as I was still driving to the house. We also appreciated that someone came to clear even more space in the parking area while we were there. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs a place to stay with their dogs.

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

Very spacious comfortable accommodation. No easy place to go for a walk other than the main road, and driving required for food and drink.

Our family loved the stay . It is such a hidden gem .This place had everything we needed for relaxing stay . Host was responsive too . Definitely coming back in future.
