Aviemore town and shops are a 10 min stroll down a lovely quiet lane, banked by views of the mountains and the Strathspey Steam Railway. The railway runs close to the bottom of the garden and is perfect for children (and adults !) to wave at the driver. One dog welcome

Just a 1 Minute walk to the Spey Valley Golf Club and Clubhouse. 10min walk to the local supermarket or 20 min walk into town for many bars and restaurants. On the front door of the property there is a doorbell with built in security camera.

Yet, if you want an activity based week there is a vast amount of organised activities and attractions just on your doorstep.

The Orbital Path is beside the house and takes you through the forest to the town centre. A patio with BBQ is a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. Milton Burn flows along the boundary. Indoors you can enjoy the stove set in an open plan living area. Please note I live next door and on hand to help if you need; whilst leaving you in peace to enjoy your trip at the same time.

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Snowgate Cabin Glenmore

The closest house to the Cairngorm's. Based in the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park Snow Gate Cabin is the last dwelling sitting right at the foot of the Cairngorms themselves. The cabin sleeps two people comfortably, including an open plan living/sleeping area housing a small kitchenette with an electric hob and a shower /wc room. A log burner gives the room a super cosy feel. The cabin shares a driveway with the owners whose property is next door to the cabin.

Nestled just off the high street in a quiet private garden. Walking distance to beautiful forests and biking trails. The River Spey is close too for a wild swim. Ideal spot for adventurers or rest! The Bothy has a wood burner to create a special romantic atmosphere or perhaps a solo restful retreat. The single day bed pulls out to create a double bed. There is a table to have meals at or work away from home. Lots of local delicious food & coffee spots to explore nearby.

Kitchen boasts dishwasher, Bosch oven, hob, washing machine and granite worktops. Outside deck with stunning views from own private garden. Gate access to footpath leading to village.

Whakamahorahora is a perfect couple hide away. People often ask us what the name’s all about. Well if you know us or visit the house you’ll see there’s a bit of a New Zealand theme. Aotearoa was our home for 4 years and although we could not stay we loved our time spent there and chose to bring back some good old “Sweet as” Kiwi ethos. My place is close to the village centre. You can walk through the woods and be in centre in about 20mins. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the neighbourhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families . Sky tv in lounge, smart TV in snug, 5 bedrooms (3 got smart tvs). Selection of DVDs in snug for use. Wifi included Robes and slippers provided for use of hot tub
