Rivendell Cappadocia is an oasis when you need a break from the non-stop touristic bustle of Goreme, yet it was less than 15 minutes by car from Goreme when you do want to see the amazing landscape & historical sites (and our balloon trip company came out to pick us up without a problem). The room's decor was very tasteful & restful. The restaurant is again, a refuge from the crowds of Goreme. You have to try the manti & the chocolate soufflé. The owners & staff were really friendly & helpful.

An outdoor terrace is accessed through an archway, featuring a rustic stone wall with a tiled roof. Potted plants are arranged on a paved area, while a gated section leads to an elevated platform with seating, surrounded by greenery and open sky.

I think we were very lucky to come to Cappadocia and stay here. The host was very hospitable. We spent a short time chatting together. It was like we were staying in an acquaintance's house, so thank you so much to him and his family. We will be happy to stay here again for our next trip. Our comments for the house; The house is right in the center of Ortahisar. The house has everything you need. You can go to the bazaar on foot. 10-15 minutes by car to the touristic places. A beautiful apartment renovated with care and respect for the millennial history of Cappadocia. The bedroom was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a third bed. The huge bathroom with a large shower and equipped with everything you need. Beautiful and functional kitchen and a large terraced space with a magnificent view. The apartment is also equipped with a washer and dryer, both included in the price. The furniture is very nice and elegant.

we loved ovadis place. it's remote and the view is incredible. the little cabin is well equipped. Ovadi was a great host and really helped us , when my passport was lost she phoned up where we'd been and helped us to track it down. a lovely place .

Wow, what a fantastic house! We really enjoyed the generous space and the great facilities. The owners were incredibly friendly and considerate. The location was ideal: right in the middle of beautiful Cappadocia, with all the highlights just a few minutes drive. Highly recommended!

An amazing stay!! A month traveling through several countries and resting 4 days in this accommodation was the best!! The bed was the best of the trip!! They allowed us to enter ahead of time, and they kept our backpacks until we returned from a tour. I would definitely come back without thinking about it!!!

Aydin was a great host! Very welcoming, responsive and friendly. His accommodations are exactly as described and we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and the quiet, beautiful view. The town is very convenient without being touristy. If you want to do tours, balloon rides, etc., I would recommend asking Aydin for guidance.

Everything was as it appeared in the photo. A clean and spacious room. The owners are friendly and exclusive. It's a family run. Since the room is on the ground floor and next to the front desk, there are some sounds of the outside, but we were not bothered because we went during the calm season. The location of the hotel is also a quiet neighborhood. I don't know what it's like without a car, but it's not much outside the neighborhood. We had a calm and pleasant holiday. The breakfast was also very nice. Would recommend.
