Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Auckland Central

Our stay was wonderful! The flat was everything that we needed for a weekend or in Auckland. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. The view from the patio was both City and a slice of the harbor which we loved. It was a particularly warm and muggy first day in the flat, but the air conditioner worked perfectly. We had been worried that it was going to be difficult to get the keys from the shop next-door because we didn’t know what we could do with our car while retrieving the flat and parking garage keys (because I’m disabled). This wasn’t a problem as there is a loading zone right in front of the building and the shop where we got our keys. We also rented a parking space from Betty (about a block from the building). It’s a very short walk to get back to the apartment building, so unless you have disability issues like me and my partner, this is very easy to use. We had a little bit of trouble with the walk back with our luggage because of our unique situation.

Best location for Auckland CBD ! We really appreciated the convenience of the location of this spacious and airy flat. It is walkable to many places in Auckland’s CBD ! Beds are very comfy and great shower too ! We also want to thank our hosts for the quick responses and flexible check in ! Many, many thanks !

This is a great place to stay for one or two people. It is located at prime location with main markets at walkable distance. The bus and ferry stations are also walkable. Host Aneez is one of the best host I have met. He will receive you in person explaining all details making you feel at home. He is a very flexible host who cares deeply about guests. He allowed early checkin knowing that I was landing in morning after a 15hr flight. He also allowed flexibility in checkout All in all, it is a great place to stay and I will visit here again

The place had everything needed plus a few extras like milk and fruit which were much appreciated. It was peaceful and quiet at night which along with the comfortable beds meant a good nights sleep Highly recommended

great little 1bedroom apartment. perfect for a 2 week stay with essential cooking and washing gear. close to restaurants. would definitely stay again if coming back to Auckland.

This property was all the "C"s - clean, conveniently located, comfortable and cosy. It was situated in a safe gated compound with well maintained pool, gym and tennis court at the foot of Mount Wellington a great local beauty spot from the top of which are sweeping views of all of Auckland. It is a short bus ride/reasonable walk from the excellent Sylvia Park shopping mall and the railway/bus station almost opposite provides quick uncomplicated access to the city's transport network - 15 mins from the CBD.

The place was clean, comfortable and quiet, just as what we wanted. The location was superb, so easy access to almost anywhere. The host Robert was attentive, quick to respond and very kind, I would definitely like to come back again !!

Great little hideaway in a lovely suburb. Cute little flat tucked st rhe end of a long driveway. Easy parking. Super quiet and safe neighbourhood. Felt right at home. Host was very friendly and easy to deal with.

The apartment is completely new, everything was very clean, well equipped (I would appreciate bigger sofa but no big deal as you can lay in the comfortable bed.) Also pool and gym looked nice (we just did not use it but checked the out:)). Ying was responsive and nice.

Sue was extremely generous and hospitable. She let us borrow her raincoats and provided some food and coffee for breakfast. The accommodation is clean and centrally located. Sue lives upstairs, and guests stay at the bottom level. There is not a full kitchen so it's a perfect place for a weekend. The bathroom is clean and has a washer/dryer. Overall, it's a great spot!

Great location, comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen, bathrooms. Couple of things to note. Info folder was not obvious, inside coffee tbl drawer, info papers in a mess. We didnt find it till 3 days in, so couldn't figure out how to get out of the garage. Called houst, they didn't know, called the bldg manager, then had to call 2nd bldg mgr to find the scanner (on the pillar before the roller door), residents have remote so they couldn't help. Need clear directions of where the bins are located. Be mindful, no central A/C or heating or reverse cycle, could be an issue mid summer & mid winter. Got quite warm during sunny days and floor fans were noisy especially when trying to sleep at night. 2nd bdrm wardrobe was packed with oil heaters, cushions, pillows in the baskets, had to push them all on top shelf to use the baskets for clothes. These are minor things to be aware of. Still a great stay and eould book again.

Great hosts. The Airbnb was super comfortable and peaceful. Fantastic location near walks and the beach.

The apartment was just what we needed. spacous, clean, tidy and close to the town centre.

Stayed in 10 Airbnb locations in 14 days and this was the best experience we had- right location in the best area ; very well kept and clean home; clear instructions for checkin and even allowed a late checkout. We had a wonderful experience in Auckland- thanks to our place of stay!

Ronita was so lovely from the first message, very accomodating and very nice to deal with! The place was in a perfect location for the Coldplay concert at Mt Eden, had a lovely stay :)

Had a fabulous stay! Everything was comfortable and well laid out. Loved the balcony overlooking Sky Tower (which turned out a bonus on New Years Eve!) and courtyard garden downstairs is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing to come back to after a day of seeing the sites. We loved using the heated pool 🏊‍♀️ too! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Jay has a lovely property and is a good host. He is friendly and accommodating. You will see him around from time to time doing various chores or taking care of the property and he's pretty good about contacting you to make sure things are okay. Ten out of ten, would stay here again

Our group of 7 stayed 5 nights. The pictures are accurate, the house is beautiful, we did not want to leave. It was very clean with no personal clutter which I love. Spectacular views of Rangitoto and a very relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of room for 2 families to spread out and you can have privacy when needed. There is so much house here and I don't think we used all the rooms, so lots of space. Big bedrooms with big beds. The pool was really nice but we didn't use due to the weather but the fire was very cosy Furnishings are new and beautiful, bed are comfy and huge, loved the quality linen. Lots of cutlery, cups, plates etc Mandy was very easy to communicate with and was very generous to us with snacks and drinks to welcome us, she also allow us an early check in which was so helpful I would definitely re book in a heart beat 10/10 Spectacular Home

The house is in the perfect location, close to the beach and shops, nicely appointed, comfy and with great views. We actually endured the tail of an intensive storm and the entire area lost power for 36 hrs (obviously no fault of Jonny's). During this period Jonny, stayed in touch and offered his services and support where possible. Would highly recommend the house and Jonny and would certainly book again.

We had the best time and really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed including a really cool covered outdoor area with a rural and beach view that we spent a good amount of time in laughing, playing cards, having Waiheke vino & antipasto platters. If it was raining or windy you can pull down the screens to block it off. The heated outdoor shower and spa was great after a swim the beach, shops and restaurants were so close to walk too.

Victor has been such a great host. He's been very quick and responsive to anything we need. He's let us completely enjoy his house and even provided extra items that we suggested. He's very friendly and help. We enjoyed our stay very much.
