The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full job and have four small children.

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

Great home on small farms in coastal surroundings with an outstanding view. Private quay 200 meters from the home with nails. Possibility to rent a boat with a motor and kayaks by appointment. The pearl has all you need to enjoy nature at its best. Well equipped gym, good fishing opportunities, swimming, football field, playground, hiking trails in the community and more. The cabin has toys and everything a family with kids and babies need. Be aware that the cabin has two floors with a stair between. Two of the bedrooms are situated on the second floor.
