Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Askvoll Municipality

Our plan was to hike at the Lihesten, Gygrekjeften and this stood out as the perfect location for that for a group of 5 grown ups. Old house with simple features and a definitive charm. The host had made great efforts to make it a cosy alternative with a great view of our hiking-destination.

We had an unforgettable month in this lovely house. The layout, equipment, decoration, hospitality, everything is excellent. The view is a permanent spectacle over the Fjord and the snow-capped mountains, which you dominate, whatever the time of day and weather. You are strategically located to visit this very pretty part of Norway with the wise advice of Bjorg and Inge. Thanks again, we'll definitely be back. Mimi and Marcel

we absolutely loved everything! we were just with 2 persons and used the upper floor. everything we needed was there. the weather wasn't great so one afternoon we good even enjoy ourselves with a boardgame of rummikub that was there. the view from the relaxing chairs was very nice.

unfortunately had continuous rain during the stay and could not really do much as it is relatively laid out. The place was sour and we had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and relaxed.

We have been to Eide 1 several times our top destination in Norway. Weather was very good, unfortunately too high water temperature and therefore little fish activity in the fjord. Climate change sends greetings, the landlord can't do anything about it. Next year again at the earlier date.

The most friendly, helpful and proactive host I’ve known on Airbnb. Had to leave earlier and she helped me with a discount. Helped me with lot of advices. Connected me with neighbours. Couldn’t ask for better service. I was there in November and without a car. Despite that there was enough bus connection and friendly neighbours ready to give me a ride to be able to move to some nice place and hikes around. The Hyllestad commune are so friendly they gave me bicycles for free. Bus drivers got to know me well and were also very helpful. In front of the house there are lovely mountains with nice hyttes to stay overnight. In and around Dale, very close by bus (less than 1h) you have the best hikes, and less than 2-3h in public transport (by bus or the ferry), you are in the main tourist destination of Sognfjord. The local shop is great. You can easily fish in the fjord for free. There are boat and kayak rental also. The place is exactly as pictured. Cosy, calm, clean, all perfect!!

Such an idyllic location. this place would be great for people who enjoy fishing, kayaking, other watersports and nature walks. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you needed. Perfect!
