Ian and Linda were wonderful hosts, extremely helpful and just generally lovely. The cottage is very cute and the walks around Plockton and the surrounding highlands were breathtaking.

great wee place, cosy livingroom and kitchen zone, great shower,soft comfy beds, the view is amazing.. Neil very friendly and accommodating. we loved it.

We had the most wonderful stay at Tigh Fhionn. Ronnie and his border collie Ken were extremely friendly and welcoming. The cottage was so cozy and comfortable and peaceful. The scenery surrounding the cottage was absolutely stunning & there was a great view of the mountains from the dining table. The cottage had all the home comforts you can imagine. We would highly recommend Ronnie's place ☆☆☆☆☆

The location is MAGICAL! Take everything you need with you (food and water) for extra convenience. We cooked dinner and breakfast and enjoyed sipping coffee while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings, the birds singing, and a nice view of Eilean Donan Castle. We used the wood-burning hot water heater for showers and the composting “loo with a view”. Very eco-friendly and all-natural. If you aren’t the outdoorsy type just think of it as “glamping”. My husband is very indoorsy and he did just fine. Haha! The antique Singer sewing machine table converted into a kitchen table was extra unique and we loved looking around and observing the sustainability of everything. We were apprehensive about being in such a remote area (compared to Edinburgh!) and not having the usual luxuries of a traditional bathroom but I feel like NOT having the usual accommodations made it even MORE special. Definitely stay here!!! ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Wonderful place to stay and so peaceful, the house and the surroundings. Still able to travel to key places like Isle of Skye etc but then being able to get away from the crowds. Would also recommend a trip to Plockton if in the area and the lovely seal boat trip with Calum! Brilliant stay and look forward to seeing when the cabin is finished and listed!

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. House is much more spacious than the photos suggest. And great views out of the house all round. Warm throughout the house the full trip. Underfloor heating is a joy. Perfect place to get away and just chill. No hassles, traffic or people. And Kimberley was on hand for any help / advice. Would definitely go back.

Excellent spot! We found it to be the perfect home base for exploring Glencoe and Isle of Syke. The photos don’t do it justice! The view of the castle is such a fun treat <3

From start to finish our experience was absolutely fantastic. The house was as described and provided a perfect base to explore the surrounding areas. Lindsay's communication was timely and helpful, especially as phone signal can be patchy at times! Overall it ticked every box and we're already looking at when to come back next year.
