The cottage has three bedrooms and a living room/kitchen, perfect for families or friends who want to spend quality time together. The plot is large with lawn and several patios perfect for dining or relaxation. On the beach, there is a wood-fired sauna and a private dock. Two-person kayak and SUP board are available to borrow for those who want to explore the lake from the water. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Mariehamn.

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. Wonderful rocky beach by the Åland Sea on the southernmost headland of mainland Åland, with Rödhamn and Nyhamn in sight. Magnificent nature and views. Rock pools in the sea. SUP board available. Comfortable with electricity, running water, fiber, air heat pump for heating or cooling. A stone's throw from Herröskatan nature reserve, rich flora and viewing tower, some fortress ruins from the Russian era 1809−1917. Short walk there or use the rental bikes. Sturdy "tree house," toys for ages 5-10.

Log cabin by own shallow beach with beautiful sea view, 7 beds (there are 3 extra mattresses if needed) and annex with 3 beds, small sauna, access to boat, surfboard, kayak, sailboat, bicycles. Possibility to sunbathe on your own private jetty. Barbecue and fire pit are also available. Several sunny patios. Take the boat out to an islet and sunbathe and swim? Take a bike ride to a cozy cafe? Or take a trip to one of Åland's attractions. Mariehamn is at a 20-minute distance by car.

Picturesque cottage with the sea as the only neighbor!

Welcome to Lunsberg! Here, life is quiet and close to nature. Light a fire in the wood sauna, warm yourself by the fireplace and let the days go by. The cottage is about 50 sqm with kitchen/living room, bedroom, a generous loft and large terrace. Perhaps the best view of the plot can be found on the outdoor toilet, which is located just behind the cottage. Down by the sea, there is a sheltered jetty if you want to get to Lunsberg with your own boat or just swim after the sauna.

Cottage on a small farm

A simple accommodation perfect for overnight stays, or for a couple of nights exploring Föglö. Outhouse and limited laundry facilities but a cozy spacious cottage in the middle of a small farm with horses, chickens, and a farm dog. Close to Degerby, the central town on Föglö. Very close to Föglö church. Own sheets with! Or rent sheets for 5€ per person, payable in cash on arrival. An outdoor grill is available, bring your own charcoal, etc.

Åland, Sund charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage (Fridhem), which was originally a bakery, was moved from a small village to the current location in the 1950s, when it was also rebuilt into the current house. The cottage is located on highway 2, in between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, about 5 km in each direction. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. There are bike paths nearby, beautiful forest roads as well. See my guide for tips.

Experience the real sense of archipelago living at our remote cabin. You will have access to your own stretch of smooth red granite beach and an uninterrupted view of the Åland wilderness. Your only neighbours will be the sound of the sea and the occasional eagles that swoop overhead from time to time. Getting to the cabin is easy by car or bike from Mariehamn.

Bastukleven, cabin in Hamnsundet's archipelago idyll

Bastukleven is a small cabin in the forest edge in Hamnsundet's archipelago idyll 150 meters from the beach in "simple living" style. The cottage has no lake view, but here you live in a cottage in the middle of traditional red-painted houses, boathouses, beach sheds and wooden boats with fishing and the marina's outdoor café as the nearest neighbor.
