Rachel has cultivated the most peaceful, warm, loving space that we have ever encountered while traveling. The rooms are lovely and spacious, with tons of natural light flowing in, a stone fireplace for the chilly nights, and a lovely little kitchen. The house is surrounded by nature, with trees, flowers, and streams creating a perfect oasis. But the best reason to stay here is Rachel herself. She is a nurturing, soulful, sensitive human being, who will help you with whatever she possibly can, in terms of navigating the area or giving you excellent recommendations. She will welcome you into her family space with an open heart, and you’ll never forget your stay in Urubamba.

our stay in the accommodation was incredible, they welcomed us in the best way and Mrs. Sonia was always attentive to us and due to the fact that we did not lack anything, we hired the kitchen service and everything was delicious. We recommend my family and I enjoyed it to the fullest. We also recommended the transport service offered there!!

Beautiful AirBnb, a magical place if you're a nature lover. Having the river so close and listening to the birds sing is a real luxury. Ask for the grill so you can have a sublime experience by the river and at night light the fire. 10 out of 10! Highly recommended!

This place was an absolute dream! Tucked just enough off the beaten path to feel like a true escape, but still super accessible — our driver only had a brief hiccup finding it. (but that was definitely more on him, because they had very clear instructions along with photos and a map). Every little detail felt so thoughtfully curated, from the cozy setup to the yoga mats waiting for us on the platform. I honestly wish I had stayed even longer — it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and soak it all in.

Refugio Maras was a home very far away from home. The hosts took care of us very well. The cabins were as described and there is a lot to explore in the charming town of Maras. My friend happened to have an unfortunate emergency and needed medical attention and they went above and beyond to get him to medical care. Very appreciative of the hospitality and care they showed. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you again!

Our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teens - had a wonderful stay at this house! It is a beautiful setting, and we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts being prepared. We also arranged tours through the property and were very happy with the service, including Machu Picchu. Highly recommend!

I had the best sleep here, than I've had in my 3 weeks in Peru. Calmed by the sounds of the river. The room is spacious, clean, and the beds are comfy. Macarena is a wonderful, kind, and very helpful host. The setting in nature is so serene and quiet, with easy access to beautiful nature

Such an incredible place and location. Ada is an incredible host and made sure I felt right at home the entire stay. I spent 5 weeks here and enjoyed every moment of the place, the rooftop terrace / views, and surrounding area. Very peaceful and quiet. Central to all the amazing places in the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to fully immerse in this beautiful part of the world.

Enrique and his daughter Pierina are excellent hosts. Very communicative and incredibly helpful with all house and trip coordination aspects. We were a family of 8 and the place had plenty of space. The property itself is gorgeous and well-situated. The house is dated but comfortable. Small issues with hot water etc were immediately fixed. We took advantage of the prepared breakfasts and several dinners in-house which were phenomenal.

Absolutely spectacular space!!! The house is simply gorgeous, the decoration amazing, the garden is a dream. The house comes with Marlene who prepares the best breakfast and (for an additional price) cooks lunch or dinner, local, spectacular. We were treated amazingly by the staff, lighting the fireplaces every evening so we’d be cozy. We were working in Urubamba and coming home to a beautifully cooked meal and warm home was just the greatest gift ever. We’ll be back.

Great stay in Irwin's country house. The house is spacious with all the modern equipment. Nested at the foot of Veronica Mountain (6000m), the beautiful garden allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. Off the grid but close to the tourist attractions of the Sacred Valley. We went easily to the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo, to Machu Picchu (you can go by train or by foot), the Salineras of Maras... Thank you Irwin for your hospitality, always available and caring !

A very beautiful house. With beautiful views of the mountains. A very beautiful patio to rest. The rooms are very comfortable, the kitchen is very spacious. It has a fireplace, which is a very nice plus. The area is very quiet. You can even walk to town in about 20 minutes with a pleasant walk. And there are also taxis nearby. Nijer and his dad Pepe are very friendly. They were nice hosts. Very good showers with hot water, very good for this area that is very cold. Urubamba is a very quiet town. We loved being in Urubamba and mainly in the Saywa house. I'm sure we'd stay again. It is also excellent for large groups, with many common areas. Our stay was excellent. Thank you very much Nijer. My friend and I rode motocycles here. This place is good for motocyclists who want a secure place, outside of the major cities. It was a unique experience and the host was very gracious. We had to pay cash for a second bedroom.

The house is located in Chilca, surrounded by nature and perfect for disconnecting. We really enjoyed exploring the nearby river and hiking the area, which is really peaceful and picturesque. If you are looking for tranquility and beauty, this is the place. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay - lovely spot, mountains all around, beautiful grounds, secure. The rooms were spacious and they built wood fires every night. Kitchen was equipped and living room / patio were good for spending time. It's on a narrow road and isn't really walkable to town so it was great to have access to a kitchen to prepare breakfast. Definitely recommend.

This is a lovely house. It is very big. The beds are super comfortable. The shower is nice and hot. The internet is very fast. It is a perfect house for a family or for a group. The surroundings are so nice, too. Please be aware that the house is a short walk to Ollantaytambo (20-30 min). I loved this. It is very nice to not be surrounded by all of the noise and annoying tourists. You do not need a car to get to Ollantaytambo. There are colectivos that pass by on the main road (and charge almost nothing for a ride into town) about every 15-20 min, and the walk is great. I highly recommend this house.
