Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ano Symi

We were a group of 8 and we had a wonderful time staying at Aristotelis’s place. It was very close to the beach and to the old city. Aristotelis was a very friendly and responsive host. We would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic villa with plenty of space and full of amenities in the kitchen & bathrooms. Moschoula and her family live next door so were quickly on hand to help with anything at all. The villa is walking distance from the beach & a 10 minute drive to busy Faliraki, 25 minutes to the airport, 5 from Afandou town where there is a great supermarket & 30 from Old Town etc. It is a beautiful villa that is well cared for. Worth every penny!

Our stay at the Medieval Villa was fantastic! Lots of space for everyone and incredibly beautiful house. We enjoyed a dinner in the Medieval dining room as well as a Jacuzzi on the rooftop, best of both worlds! The kitchen was very well appointed with a coffee machine, and the host left us some beers and soft drinks. Staying in the old town was a magical experience to walk around the uncrowded medieval streets early in the morning and after dinner at night. The host was very responsive and provided an airport pick up. Would strongly recommend, we only wished we had stayed longer!

Mr. Necati and his wife were really nice. They helped with everything, no matter the time, thank you so much. The pool is really good in the room we stayed in, and the hot tub was perfect. We are really pleased with the location close to the grocery stores and the gas station. Thanks again.

A lovely spacious house set in wonderful grounds that were perfect for the three generations of us, and Despina and her mother were quick to respond to any queries (minor). Bella Foresta is wonderfully close to beaches, coves and villages. Altogether, we can only recommend it.

Manos was a friendly man, with a nice stay. We were able to have a good time. Everything was available that was described. Finally, a very good stay and host.

Antonio’s parents were really nice and helpful and gave us fresh oranges and lemons from the garden! For Easter we even got a local Greek self baked pastry! Very wholesome!

We loved staying at Claudia’s place - not only was she available as a friendly and knowledgeable person in an unfamiliar town but the house is right inside the old town walls but still very quiet. Most surprising for us is that we could stay in this piece of history - some of the house is hundreds of years old but also with all modern conveniences of aircon and dishwasher - and we had a whole two storey house plus courtyard to ourselves! We were only 2 but could have been 5 and still feel spacious. There is everything you could need — and more.

Nikolaos was a wonderful host. He met us at the accommodation, made sure we knew the 'lay of the land', and provided us with great recommendations for eating and touring. 'At Thomas' was a good first dinner on arrival (literally 20 feet away). The private balcony (off the bedroom) and terrace ( at the roof top) were great to have breakfast or an evening drink). This accommodation is just inside in the old town, close to the port, close enough to the 'action' but quiet. We rented a car and used it to go west (highly recommend the hike to Akramitis and visit to Embonas for the wine) and east (Lindos - touristy but pleasant). No parking inside the old town (if you rent a car). Be careful of where you park. We got 2 tickets in less than 24 hours and had to pay $60 Euro at the airport (car rental place or police on the 2nd floor). We loved the accommodation and highly recommend it.

A nice apartment with everything you could need, and the roof garden is lovely. well positioned just a short walk from the old town, but still fairly easy to find parking and get out of the town to see the rest of the island. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay here! The hosts mother lives below the apartment and greeted us as we arrived, took us upstairs and showed us around. She was so sweet and helpful and would greet us whenever we walked by in the coming days. The apartment is perfectly situated in a quiet area. It’s two blocks from a grocery store, a ten minute walk from the beach and a ten minute walk in the opposite direction from the old city. Would totally recommend.

Quiet area and close to the center and restaurants. Beach just a few minutes away. Got a very nice welcome and one day home made apple-pie as a plesant surprise😃 Would stay here again!

Had a really nice stay here. The hosts are very helpful and accomodating, Rhodanti helped us settle in the evening (we arrived quite late) and took some time to show us around. Overall really nice hosts, respond quickly and they gave us a lot of great recommendations on things to do and eat. Definitely visit Koukos around the corner and Mbakis near the port You’re 20 seconds away from a street full of life, restaurants and bars, yet you hear literally nothing of it once you turn the corner to your house which is in a cosy and quiet small street. Most things to do in the city of Rhodos is a walk of max. 15 minutes from the house. The house itself was nice, perfect for a couple and has everything you need. You do need to be at home to use the washing machine (your housekey is used to power electricity, however this was the case in each BNB we visited during our 3 week around the Greek islands), not that big of a deal. Highly recommend, want to go back already.

The apartment was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Steve and his wife were amazing hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. They were incredibly friendly and I felt went out of their way to help us settle in. The location was ideal as there was a supermarket a few meters from us. It was around a 15 min walk to the centre of Faliraki (all flat). We’re going to miss the lovely pool area and having a morning dip! Would highly recommend!!

We had a lovely holiday at The Olive Grove. Eeva was very helpful right from my first enquiry until we left. She booked our transfers and recommended a car hire firm. The location is rural but with a car it's easy to get to the places Eeva recommends. Some very beautiful scenery and lovely beaches to visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was real gem! Private, clean, good house planning, nice garden, good kitchen to prepare the dinnner- although there are plenty places to enjoy dinners at authentic creek family restos also nearby. Cohost living nearby is also great! Thank you for everything 😊

Beautiful villa with lovely views of the sea. Great swimming pool and loved having use of the tennis court. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. Big balcony to enjoy the views. Very quiet and peaceful. Soroni Town has a great supermarket and shops. It's worth hiring a car and exploring. Thank you Teta for all your help.

Such a beautiful villa within walking distance to the old town! It was roughly 20-30 minutes to walk into the old town (this was with a disabled guest who couldn’t walk too fast). Nearby, there are some mini markets and also a swedish bakery! There is also a bus stop just across the road to get to Lindos (massively recommend visiting). Michail was very kind, communicative, and a fabulous host! He helped us with a late check-out which saved us a huge amount of trouble! The villa is on a main road so the traffic can be very loud, even at night, but for us this wasn’t a dealbreaker. The kitchen is great and well equipped. The bathroom is a little unusual where both bathrooms are in the same room, just separated by a glass door. This was easily overcome by just agreeing to always use the furthest away shower so that people could still use the toilet in the first part of the room. Not really an issue - just to be aware! Overall, a BEAUTIFUL villa and I fully recommend to anyone!

Maria was a great host, very accommodating and helpful. The house was great and as described. There were a few doors that needed repairing meaning we couldn’t use the largest terrace on the roof and the A/C was broken in a few rooms. The pool was fantastic and a good size. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery and utensils. Overall a great experience.
