We had a wonderful stay here! It's in a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by nature. The space was cozy, clean, and Monica and Knut were friendly and quick to respond to any questions!

Wow! Perfect place for our family of four. The house was cozy and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were nice size and finish. The property its self was so beautiful with such an idyllic backyard leading down to the fun and cozy boathouse where we hung out playing cards and enjoying the beautiful summer evening. The beach area was fun to explore. Quiet area, free from the traffic and crowds of Lofoten, beautiful mountains around and a few beaches up and down the road. Wish we had stayed longer! Can’t wait to come back and relax here again!

What can I say. A great place to stay. Magnificent views from the window overlooking the sea. The kitchen is super equipped with different spices, oils, etc. You felt right at home. A personal message in the guestbook that greets you with the super tasty bread. Would go right there again. On the last day, even saw the aurora lights and get a message directly from Rakel, who made us aware of this. Super nice host who really understands what good hospitality is. I can only recommend it to anyone looking for a home in the far north.

We have been here for the 2nd time, perfectly equipped house, kitchen perfectly equipped, very cozy spacious house with large panoramic windows with northern lights .. Simply fantastic!! Thanks !!

Cute cabin situated in the traditional working fishing harbor of Straumsjoen. Nice hiking trails literally outside the cabin door, and a supermarket just minutes away. We were a party of two, and the cabin suited us just fine. With parties larger than two, be aware that all additional beds are in small dormer rooms on the upper floor, accessible via a vertical ladder. Kids will probably love scrambling to the upper level, but the upper level may not be the best fit for some. Really beautiful region.

We loved staying in this beautiful house next to a stunning white sand beach with amazing views. Highly recommended.

Very great location, and especially the view of the sea from the living room and kitchen. Feeling of being alone with the sea even though it is neighboring houses. Walking distance to Nyksund which is an exciting, old fishing village and the start of Dronningruta to Stø.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the property. The positioning of the home allows for inside viewing of the Northern Lights. We also were treated to a NL performance in the spa! If you are looking to relax and seek calm, this is your place.
