Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ameland

We highly recommend this place. The apartment is clean, cozy and equipped with everything you might need. On request, a travel bed and a high chair were provided for our son. The apartment is located right in the city and you have restaurants, shops and co. right outside the front door.

What an excellent house to stay. Very great surroundings, quiet and beautiful stargazing at nights. Close enough for travelling around Friesland and/or visiting the isles of Ameland/Schiermonnikoog. The house itself has all features you need. Great kitchen, very good beds and big badroom. Highly recommended for a stay.

Had a very pleasant stay with Marlies. A cozily furnished house in a beautiful, green area. We came with 5 cars, 4 of which are electric. Very convenient that we could also use the charging station on location (additional charge). Contact with the host Marlies was very good. We really enjoyed it with our company outing!

If you want to know something new about the house and the amenities, then we can't add anything to the fantastic description and the many guest comments. A beautiful, cute Frisian cottage. But what we can tell you is that we have never and nowhere experienced such great host qualities as those of Gaby and Peter. Something heartfelt, whether via text messages or live on the phone. As if you've known each other for a long time. In addition, there is the almost limitless trust in the guests. Beautiful and cozy house in a beautiful part of Holwerd. Large living room with dining table and kitchen, which is well stocked with equipment and supplies. I think Annet is a friendly and very helpful host.

What a beautiful view, within walking distance beach and Nes, where there is much to experience. The cottage itself is complete and basic. Fully equipped, nothing missing and everything works.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment and had a great stay. I was able to talk to Petra about a disturbing smell. It was also great that towels and bedding were available in the apartment, as well as a bicycle in the shed. We will be happy to come back.

Super nice! Ideal area in a cozy village. The call bus from Dokkum is also very nice for if you don't have a car. Owner is communicative should you have any questions or can't find something. Should you get cold, there are enough blankets throughout the house to endure a Russian winter. Wonderful!

There were four of us (children 2 and 7 years old) on vacation here. The apartment is well equipped, located in a quiet hotel complex. The highlight of every day was the swimming pool! You're there in a minute, just great for kids! The surroundings are magical, Hollum is a wonderful little place and the sea is of course unsurpassed. You can park the car and bicycles right outside the door. All in all highly recommended!

It was a great stay. The cottage was very neat, everything was clearly communicated and explained. When calling or messaging, they responded immediately. All in all fantastic!

Amazing stay! Just dont forget to bring your own linen (bed/towels) or contact the owner before hand, as it can be added as an extra charge. I sadly hadnt seen it before but it was no easy and very quickly resolved!

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Renske's home is nestled in the last village of the island, and a moment's walk into the dunes. So it was perfect for us who were searching for peace, quiet, and nature. The kitchen was spacious with great amenities, and the bedrooms were soo cozy! It was a bit challenging to find her home. It's amidst several other homes/doors. There was no sign, whether with a name or number, on an outside wall like other cottages/doors did. So we asked neighbours who were out and about if they could help us find the correct cottage, which we did. Renske was super supportive with my questions with prompt responses, I really appreciated her warmth. Thank you for having us Renske!

A wonderful place in the middle of the city center, everything within walking distance. Nice bed and cozy space. We felt right at home. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful play area, very large with pool table dart board ping pong table. In addition, a sauna and plunge pool, luxurious cottage.

Very nice rural place to stay. To the dike just a few minutes by car and near Dokkum for shopping and restaurants. Yfke was very nice and gave helpful tips for things to do as well as restaurants. Also available in the room are information brochures for the environment. I'd love to recommend again and absolutely.

Great place to stay. Was easy to find. Fenna let us check in when suited us and met us at the apartment. Gave us a quick tour and explained the best places where we could eat out in the area. The flat was warm and cosy with plenty of kitchen ware.
