We recovered this house inspired by the cozy Alentejo heart, where you will be able to spend some wonderful days as a family, with all the comfort and convenience. The house is located in the center of Vila Nova da Baronia, about 1h30 from Lisbon. Close to Viana do Alentejo and Alvito (6 km) and Odivelas dam (16 km); 30 minutes from Évora and 50 minutes from Alqueva, where you can find the river beach of Amieira, a beach with excellent conditions and very pleasant.

A serene beach area is depicted with several straw umbrellas providing shade on the sandy shore. Blue lounge chairs are neatly arranged under the umbrellas. The clear water and distant trees complete the tranquil setting against a bright blue sky.

Manuel is very helpful, the accommodations are basic much more comfortable, clean and with the necessary conditions. The outside is very good for refreshing, eating the outdoor meals. Right next to the house there is a very complete grocery store with homemade bread and everything you may need. I highly recommend!

Wonderful place for a quiet weekend or for short family vacations. Carolina's farm is well-equipped, organized and the entire place breaths tranquility. We had most fun relaxing by the pool with our friends, and Carolina was always helpful with anything we might ask/need. Highly advisable!

Splendid Oasis in the heart of Alentejo- THE BARN

A hidden gem. This was by far the best Airbnb experience my family and I have ever had. Andrea and Andreas were delightful hosts. They live on the property in a neighboring house and were attentive to all our needs throughout the stay. This is a special property. It's located approximately 1 hour 50 minutes drive from Lisbon. We flew in and rented a car. The drive there was beautiful, taking small roads through the olive and cork groves of the Portuguese countryside in Alentejo. Upon arriving, you enter a complete escape from reality on this ancient farm. Andrea and Andreas have a working olive oil production facility (tour it!), and many of their trees are 1000+ years old. There are also several cork trees. Sheep graze between the trees, moving about the property throughout the day. Chickens lay fresh eggs daily, and you can also pick your own lemons. The pool has several floats as well as a mini bar that Andreas keeps well-stocked. Local restaurants do a great job with take-out.
