"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. We are an Eco Farm Stay and have a spacious self-contained studio room. Location is five minutes’ drive from Orange & 20 minutes’ walk of several wineries. We have excellent views over the town and surrounding countryside. You will find it very peaceful and quiet with a homely feel. You can feed the Murray Grey cows, calves or chickens, spend time strolling through our cherry orchard or just do your own thing. We are very approachable but any contact will be your choice.
