We had a fabulous time with views of Ronda! In the countryside but not too far from the city!! A small romantic nest where we had a pleasant stay with all amenities! We would recommend this place to those who want to visit the Andalusian region and its beautiful white villages.

Super nice and quiet place to stay. The pool and hot tub were great and contributed to the relaxation. Communication was flawless. Very clean and everything you need was there. Kitchen fully equipped and a basic set of spices, oils and cleaning agents was also provided.

We had a great stay in a lovely, characterful house. It was beautifully renovated whilst retaining a feeling of belonging to the old village. We had an issue with broken heaters but Cristina responded within an hour with another one on the doorstep. She,also, provided the cleaners contact details for an extra log delivery which was ready and waiting for us. Top hosting!

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The property is really tucked away and you have to pay attention to the directions otherwise you’ll struggle to find it, but this is typical in this region. Even though we arrived late (approximately 11.00pm) getting into the property was very easy. Each room has its own heating/cooling system so we got to the temperature we wanted very quickly. Overall, everyone (there were 8 of us) was happy with the accommodation inside. Outside is just perfect. Lovely pool and jacuzzi, 8 sun loungers, tables and chairs for all, and a great barbecue.

Had a lovely stay here. Villa was very clean and well presented. The scenery was beautiful and very peaceful. You will definitely need a car to get to the property as you have to drive down single track mountain roads to access it. Antonio looked after us well, we had a small problem one day and he came and sorted it after just a few hours. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor kitchen/bar area was amazing. There’s even a large paella pan which we put to good use. All the bedrooms have air conditioning which we needed as it was mid 40s during our stay! You are charged for the air con using a meter which we didn’t know until arrival but it was only €65 for the week and we had it on every night in every bedroom. The pool was very clean and Antonio came to clean it halfway through the week.

We had an amazing experience during our stay. The attention of Maricarmen, the host, was great from the first moment: friendly, attentive and with excellent communication. The house is perfect, especially for those of us who travel with dogs. Our furry friends were happy with the space and the tranquility of the environment. We enjoyed fresh eggs in the morning, a detail that made the stay even more special. The house is equipped with everything you need to feel at home: comfortable, clean and very well maintained. The location is ideal, close enough to Almería to explore the city, discover beautiful corners and visit the beach, but also with the calm and charm of a perfect country house to read, rest and disconnect from the noise. Not only did we love it, but we're already looking forward to returning. Thank you for everything, Maricarmen!

A really beautiful house-cabin. Everything is taken care of in detail with a very large plot in which you can find everything (hammock, reading area, a small creek if it rains on you...). The interior is very nice and well cared for. It looks like the hosts love the place, I assure you that you will fall in love with the place. Walter and Sabina are lovely, we are already looking for dates to come back!

The place is beautiful, although it made us good time we had a great time with the fireplace and bbq, the truth is that it is a pretty great place to spend a few days with the family, highly recommended! Also Alfonso left us wood, oranges and games. everything perfect!

Amazing , magical place in an abandoned village. Peaceful environment, mountains and birds, and a super good restaurant around the corner. Nice bar in the street as well. Village vibes and a stunning cottage, we will be back for sure!

Susana and her family are very hospitable and helpful hosts. We (2 people+baby+dog) stayed with them for almost 5 weeks in spring and immediately felt welcome. They always stood by us with advice and action (there were tips for hikes and where to find a workshop or a doctor)...although our Spanish is already very rusty. The apartment looks exactly like in the photos and is very personally decorated. There is nothing missing: from coffee to salt and oil to detergent, there is everything you need for a longer (or shorter) stay. It is quietly located in a beautiful garden with orange and lemon trees and you can use the pool. You park in a small street in front of the house. By bus, which runs virtually at the front door, you are in Granada in 25 minutes (on the Roman bridge). In Gojar you will also find everything you need (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy) within walking distance.

A little bit of a dream. Very nice little house in a fantastic setting. Very nice walks nearby or a little further, 30 min, Grazalema. A very nice discovery. Pia was very communicative and made us feel at home. Thank you!

An unbeatable experience! The house is simply spectacular, with a dreamy exterior: large, very nice gardens, spectacular views, an esplanade to park cars and a pool that invite you to rest and have fun. The space is huge, perfect for enjoying with family or friends without feeling cramped. The dogs that live there are adorable and very well-behaved, they don't bother at all, on the contrary, they add a special touch to the stay. We want to highlight the attention of Maria and Jose Antonio, who were lovely hosts. We definitely recommend this place one hundred percent. We'll be back for sure!

What a beautiful Casita. Full of old world charm, in a wonderful location. Amazing pool with views across the valley. We had an amazing week at Casita Gecko, highly recommended.

It is a very cozy cottage in a very beautiful environment. The reception was very warm and everything was super clean and well equipped (in terms of kitchen utensils, towels, bedding, ...). The cottage is a bit remote, but with a nice view and yet also easily accessible. Recommended!

The place was amazing with beautiful views! Nick and Julia were amazing host who were very responsive if we ever needed anything. We will most definitely miss the place and of course the pets too!

The finca is very quiet and secluded for a very relaxing holiday. The swimming pool and porch with beautiful ones invite you to linger. The large room with living room, bedroom and kitchen is very nicely decorated. The bathroom is fully equipped. I would book the place again to relax in a quiet place. The landlord is very helpful. Just a nice quiet holiday.

Beautiful cottage, fully equipped, very comfortable in a beautiful setting in nature. Perfect place to disconnect and experience the wonderful surroundings. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! Our Family loved our time:)

It's been a great weekend. The place is very nice, it has everything you need. Super friendly and very smooth communication. 100% recommended. We'll be back!
