The place is extremely quiet, private and spacious. Excellent maintenance. Everything worked great. It is cozy and has first-class appliances. Safe and ideal for resting. Easy to find. Excellent service I look forward to returning soon

A home with many tropical plants and well-kept green areas. The pool is very clean and well filtered water. The construction is old, although it is preserved. It is located in populated area, although it is quiet at night.

This was an amazing get away for my family. The pool is amazing the space is very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It’s the perfect location for a big group we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant near the house.

Daniel easily gave me the caretakers number, he met us upon arrival, helped us carry our bags, gave us a through walk through of the house, showing us how to use appliances, and location of all items. The house was wonderful with doors open and nice breezes from the ocean. The ocean was just feet away and the water warm. The beach at places had trash but by the ocean itself was clean and peaceful and we felt safe. We all enjoyed the pool, there were 6 adults and a 20 month old baby. The baby enjoyed the tours and books. We were also given some limes and bananas which made us feel special. Johnny the caretaker was extra nice and readily available to help in any way. His wife made and gave us rice with milk pudding which was very good and again a special treat. We enjoyed the birds and iguana around the property too. A wonderful place for our family to vacation

beautiful country setting, waking up each day to the roosters, other birds, howler monkeys and cows. we definitely needed the car to get around. the house manager, Trino, and Alberto, the owner, were both super friendly, accommodatingl and responsive.

We loved it, an apartment for 2 people and our dog in Punta where it is more touristy. I would love to stay there again later. Don Rolando is super friendly and attentive

Very nice house to stay in. Very clean and comfortable. They pool was fantastic. Great beach as well. Lots of fun playing in the waves. Very safe and close to lots of things to do. Great place for a large group and an awesome master suite upstairs. Would definitely recommend to others. Also has a home phone to call locally and out of country. This made it great to stay in touch with people back home.

Randy's House is just 5 minutes drive from the entrance of the Carara National Park. His house is easy to find, very good equipped kitchen can be used. Nice garden and swimming pool as well. Beach front, swimming in the sea is marvellous, sun sets, too. Restaurants in walking distance just around the place. We would chose Randy's place again being in this area!

A classic house in Puntarenas, very well maintained. It is a house with its years, but that makes it even better for my taste. The property is beautiful, the gardens very well maintained and plenty of space. Great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Titi’s beach house. It’s surprisingly close to San Jose, yet off the beaten path. The beach is beautiful and right out the back door. There are no big developments on the beach, it’s just lined by a quiet neighborhood so very few other people on it. On the opposite side of the house is a Mangrove swamp with monkeys in the trees. We rented a boogie board and a surf board and had them delivered to the house by a tour operator who lives in the neighborhood (Titi will give you the contact info). This place is best with a rental car; there is one nice walkable restaurant, everything else is a drive. The house and backyard equipment have some signs of wear, but pool was nice and the backyard is pretty. The bedrooms each have an AC unit and they work well but the main living area was a bit warm, especially the first night because the house was closed up without AC on. It fit our family of 6 comfortably and the “kids” were college and high school students.

Our family of 10 had an amazing time at Cantamar, especially the pool, backyard and beautiful beach. The house is well laid out and had everything we needed. Bruce was a great host and responsive to all requests. Joel and his wife were also friendly and prompt to help with anything we needed. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend.

The house was exactly what we expected. A little in need of updating. Slight signs of wear and tear, but comfortable and cleanish. We enjoyed our stay, and wish we had planned more time at this location. Beach was covered in trash and driftwood (I know its out of the owners control, but just want future guests to know). Beautiful beach access. Recommend!

We loved the visit. The room was comfy and clean. The view is beautiful. It lacks appliances and a TV. The pool is small but there is room for a bigger one Access to the beach is fine and close. We loved the beach. The food was delicious. We'll be back! Thanks Travis!

Thanks Hazel for a wonderful stay! The cabin has everything you need and was impeccable, they made us feel right at home. We appreciate your quick responses and your recommendations were very helpful. We'd love to stay again! The people are very friendly and the island has many beautiful places to visit, on the way to Playa la Española, you can see the beautiful sunset, and in Playa Albina we managed to see a spectacular sunrise. and we can't forget how fresh and delicious the seafood is.

A gorgeous lodge in the wilderness! Secluded, but homey thanks to the warmth of our hostess. She was kind enough to point out a mother and baby sloth on the premises, and from our porch, we delighted in a host of wildlife sightings; everything from monkeys to toucans. The view of the river and surrounding jungle is hard to beat, as well (We saw a few rafters coming down the pike.). All in all, we give it our highest endorsement!

the Airbnb was 5 starts for the price. clean and safe. everything you need with a restaurant and groceries across the street. street sounds can be heard throughout the night, so beware if you're a light sleeper and need absolute quite. but the home was lovely. I would definitely stay again

A truly unforgettable stay at a private beachfront paradise Our stay at Vesna and Oak’s place was absolutely incredible. The property is a true gem- with direct access to a stunningly wide beach and one of the best surf breaks in Costa Rica. The location is ideal—about an hour from the San José airport. The property manager, Bernal, was really helpful with things to do and we felt completely safe. We spent our days surfing, paddle boarding, and exploring waterfalls and jungle trails. The nearby restaurants were fantastic. The house itself was really clean, spacious and comfortable. We opened the sliding glass doors to enjoy a cool breeze in the living room while playing games every evening. Each bedroom had its own AC, so we slept like babies. The sunset, ocean views from the house were unbeatable. There are even ping pong and foosball tables - bonus! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back!
