Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ahr

Very nice half-timbered house in a good location for exploring the Lahn Valley and the Rhine Valley between Koblenz and Boppart. Near the Unisco "Limes" site, a surprising border dating from about 400 years AD.

We felt very comfortable in Christina's house. The amenities are very high quality and thoughtful. We were particularly pleased that the dog was able to come along and that there were so many games for the kids. You can also quickly walk down to the lake or walk a bit into the forest, from where you have a beautiful view of Lake Rur. We highly recommend taking the boat across the lake - you can get off and back at the stops. After checking out, we had an exchange with Christina because of an ambiguity and that was very friendly and transparent at all times. Therefore, we can fully recommend not only the house, but also the landlady:-)

Everything was great!

A wonderful place from where you can explore southern Limburg. Every day a concert of birds in the garden, a cozy pallet stove, clean bathroom and nice beds. Friendly host, welcoming and everything well taken care of. We enjoyed it!

I cannot say enough to describe how wonderful Anne and Hugo’s cottage was! Everything about it was beautiful. Hugo made a wonderful loaf of bread and yummy jam. And a lemon tiramisu!! If want to have great stay at a beautiful place this is it!

Beate wasn't around, but Thomas hosted us excellently, even providing us with dinner on the first night for which he refused extra payment. The house itself was done up in a rustic way, but very well and very clean. Washing machine broke (after washing fine for a couple of loads), but Thomas quickly sorted out the wash and replaced the machine itself. The kids loved the table tennis table, and slide and swings. The road was very quiet, but particularly because the road was temporarily closed further down so may be busier at other times. Countryside was lovely, with mad hares spotted on different mornings outside the large lounge window. Overall we had a great family stay here, and were very happy to stay a bit further outside of Monschau to have the outside space for the children.

Right after booking, we regularly got nice messages to help us with the preparations. Shortly before departure, we received clear check-in instructions. The cottage was beautiful, spacious and tidy. Gabrielle left sweet notes everywhere and extra touches. She had cereals and other essentials ready. There was a set of towels and a lovely bathrobe ready to use for each of us. There were tips about the area and you could ask her anything if you needed additional tips. She came by to welcome us personally and came to say goodbye to uncle personally. The cottage itself is already well worth it, but Gabrielle is really the icing on the cake.

A pristine and charming home in the immediate vicinity of Phantasialand. The house is in a very quiet and green residential area with a large garden. The equipment is complete and of quality. A great place that we recommend without hesitation!

Cosy, clean, quiet environment and a very warm hostess. In the cozy little apartment with lots of wood interior, we had a nice winter weekend. An absolute recommendation for us.

We were able to spend a wonderful few days in your home. So wonderfully clean and luxuriously furnished. Upon entering, there was a bottle of water, bottle of wine, orangejuice and a bag of nuts ready for us. The welcome by Achim was most warm. We got tips from him to do. Finally, the sauna was great pleasure.

We felt very comfortable right away. The location: Almost in the middle of the countryside and yet you are right in the city and have everything you need. The apartment is comfortably furnished, clean and you have everything you need. Also suitable for young children. Many thanks for everything!

The accommodation is excellent. Despite arriving late, check-in via electronic door lock was possible, thanks again for that. The apartment is very spacious, has everything you need for a great stay, TV with media libraries, bed linen, towels, hairdryer, very well-equipped kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge with compartments, toaster, coffee maker. There is even a washing machine in the spacious bathroom. We slept wonderfully in the comfortable bed. There are outlets everywhere and the USB ports on the bedside lamp are great. In April, we were even able to have breakfast on the magnificent sun terrace on very comfortable chairs with seat cushions. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street and has its own parking space on the property. The bakery is only a few minutes walk away. We will be happy to come back. Olga responds very quickly to questions and tries to make a lot possible.

Everything is great! Unfortunately we only had 3 nights and would have liked to have stayed longer. Beautiful apartment with a small terrace and fantastic views. Lots of greenery and absolute tranquility, wonderful hiking opportunities and the proximity to Bad Münstereifel. We will be back!!! Small suggestion for the parking description: Instead: "next to the courtyard driveway" better: in front of the courtyard driveway, on the road on the green strip. We first drove in, then only found the meadow in front of the clothes dryer and initially parked there with a clear conscience;-) We only discovered the sign on the street later and then of course like to park around. We had a great weekend at Anja's place with our friends. We lacked nothing, the lovingly furnished apartment was exactly as described and the outdoor area is great for lingering, eating and playing. The surroundings were very quiet and invite you to walk, hike and cycle. Within 20-30 minutes by car, for example, Bad Münstereifel, the Steinbachtalsperre or the Seepark Zülpich can be reached within 20-30 minutes by car. We would come back anytime:)

We had a great weekend at Ruth's house! The super-equipped kitchen is very well suited for preparing meals for many people. The sauna provides great relaxation after a day of hiking. There was enough space for our large group of friends (enough seats in the living room and at the dining table for 12 people). We would recommend the house :)

Beautiful house and super furnished, kitchen has everything for cooking, enough blankets and pillows, games, books. Were 16 people and despite bad weather and a lot of time in the house there was enough room for everyone :) Fast very nice communication with Lilia!

The home perfectly responded to the listing! Beautiful, cozy and spacious! The pictures dont lie! We were 6+a baby and had a lovely time. Around the house you can do beautiful local walks. It also has the perfect location for nice outings! And Jean Louis? That's a great man who assists you with advice and action when needed, and also gives you the privacy and freedom you like as a guest. In short, for us it was perfect!

Enjoy in the Mosel/Eifel! We had a wonderful week here with a company with children and dog. The house was spacious, light, well furnished and full of pleasant facilities. Both inside and out delicious dining with the region's characteristic riesling wines and a delicious barbecue for meat and fish. No shortage of wellness. Choice between swimming pool, jacuzzi, hot tub and sauna. Inside a very spacious kitchen which is wonderful for larger groups. For hiking, mountain biking or by road bike, there were beautiful rounds to make. A great stay!

We had a fantastic time in Malmedy! The location of the house is perfect—just outside the village and surrounded by nature. The private path leading up to the house was a hit with the kids, who loved the short climb! We were warmly welcomed by Christiana’s son, who guided us to the house. The drive up is a bit exciting the first time, but it’s absolutely manageable and adds to the experience. The house looked exactly like the pictures, which we really appreciated. Everything matched our expectations perfectly!

Super quiet house. Plenty of space for different stays. Nice balcony overlooking the woods. All rooms are very spacious, there is plenty of space. The house is on the way alone adjacent to a forest. During the walks with the dogs, we did not meet hikers in April. So if you want to have your peace and quiet, the house and the forest are just right, we would love to come back.
