We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Magnifique maison fait avec beaucoup de goût vue superbe sur la baie d’Heraklion. L’équipement était le top et manque de rien. Paisible avec les instructions pour l’arrivée très complet. Nous avons rencontrons les propriétaires qui était très accueillant. Merci pour les fruits, boissons et les pâtisseries à l’arrivée, très appréciable. La seule dommage c’était que nous avons resté que 5 jours, nous retournerons avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Wir hatten in der Unterkunft einen JGA gemacht. Und hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es wurden Essen/Getränke zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir waren direkt verliebt und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Für 6 Personen war es super und die Überraschung für die Braut ist uns auf jeden Fall gelungen. Ca. 15-20 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Heraklion, was absolut in Ordnung ist. Xristos ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sollte ich nochmal die Gelegenheit haben, würde ich immer wieder in dieses Airbnb :). Das Wetter war bei uns leider nicht so optimal, aber wir hatten trotzdem sehr viel Spaß. Danke für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt und die tolle Ankunft.

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

Nous avons voulu nous évader le temps d’un weekend et c’était l’endroit parfait. Le logement est confortable, propre, beau et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Notre seul regret : ne pas avoir pu en profiter plus longtemps. Mension spéciale pour Mrs Georgia qui nous a accueillis et guidé tout au long du séjour. Elle a été d’une gentillesse incroyable et était toujours disponible quand nous en avions besoin.

The owners of this place were amazing! They were so nice! The apartment is very clean and organized. The view is absolutely stunning from this place! Recommending everyone to stay here! Would stay here again if we ever visited!

Stella's Home was the most positive Airbnb experience I've ever had (and I've had some really lovely ones). The place is beautiful and the views are some of the best I've ever seen with the beach being only a 6 minute walk away. Stella was also an exceptional host. She stocked the fridge with some complementary groceries which made for a really positive start to our trip, especially after a day of traveling. It was also one of the most thoughtful things a host has done for one of my stays. Stella was also very communicative, checking in to make sure everything was going well for us and if we needed anything. The hot tub was amazing, the house was spotless and comfortable, the description of the space completely accurate. 5 days was not enough for us here and if I ever make it back to Crete, I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Die location ist besonders, wir haben es gefeiert. Schön gelegen. Total ruhig und etwas abseits. Wir fühlten uns absolut sicher. Die lokalen Restaurants waren anfangs Mai gerade geöffnet - es geht dörflich zu. Auto ist notwendig. Die Preise fair, die Menschen freundlich. Freilebende Katzen besuchen. Eine Katze hat ihre Kitten in der Nähe der Unterkunft geboren und fühlt sich dem Haus zugehörig. Der erste Mikromarkt ist 5min entfernt, in Gazi (10min) sind größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Bad ist klein und wie alles an dem Haus liebevoll gestaltet. Ab Körpergröße 180cm erfordert die Benutzung der Toilette wegen der Beinfreiheit etwas Flexibilität. Das Haus ist ein Traum, wenn Du entspannen und runterkommen willst.

Thank you so much for a lovely holiday in your beautiful apartment, we loved it! The apartment is just like the photos with the view from the balcony absolutely fantastic. We loved walking down the steps and straight onto the beach for a swim each day. Such a wonderful location. The apartment itself was perfect too, well equipped with everything we needed and extras, comfortable and clean- we felt very at home. Excellent hosts, thank you!

Wij hebben een hele fijne week gehad in het appartement met onze kinderen van 4 en 6 jaar oud. Het appartement was zoals op de foto's van de advertentie getoond! Schoon, netjes, ruim genoeg voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Balkon wel aan de kleine kant met z'n viertjes, maar daar hadden we geen hinder van. Wij hadden met regelmaat contact met Magdalena, zij reageerde steeds heel behulpzaam en enorm snel (binnen 5 min). Dat was heel prettig! Ze had ook een taxi vanaf het vliegveld naar het appartement en aan het eind van de week weer terug voor ons geregeld. Voor de kinderen genoeg te doen hier in de buurt, alles op loopafstand: het kleine zwembad, strand/boulevard, CretAquarium, Dinosaurus park. Ik zou het appartement zeker aanraden! Verder vonden wij de omgeving wel wat verouderd (alhoewel er wel veel nieuwbouw aankomt!) en niet heel levendig. Wij waren buiten het vakantie seizoen om.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

Logement conforme et encore mieux en vrai. Rien à redire tout était parfait et à la hauteur. Beaucoup de petits restaurants ce qui est un plus après une longue journée. Yannis est un hôte réactif et pleins de petites attentions :) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Die Wohnung war sehr schön mit einem spektakulären Ausblick. Es war alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Und die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und immer erreichbar.

El lugar es fantástico para pasar unos días de descanso. La playa es divina y se encuentra a pocos metros de este Airbnb. Popis estuvo siempre atenta a todas nuestras necesidades y nos recibió con muchas cosas de bienvenida. Le agradecemos por eso porque llegamos de noche. Cerca hay un excelente minimarket en donde también se puede arrendar auto, lo que es obligación si quieres desplazarte para conocer bien la isla y todos los lugares que tiene. Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for 8 days with our son and his wife and our granddaughter. It was absolutely perfect for us, we spent several days in Heraklion and then toured the neighbouring regions of the island in our rented car. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a large and well-stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook some meals together. We were especially grateful for Eirini's offers of assistance and suggestions for activities such as the Oxi day celebrations on October 28. We would have missed it if she hadn't alerted us to the parade. All in all a perfect holiday, would gladly stay there again.

We had an amazing 1 week stay at this beautiful place. Also the host was so sweet in helping us. She made sure we found the house during night time and got some food for us for breakfast. Also the place was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. This place is just magical with the beautiful sunrise every morning. Also the inside of the house and spots outside the house give a very cozy feeling. We would also definitly recommend to hire the chef-kok for a night. It was one of the highlights of our stay because of the amazing food and their kindness to us. Would love to come here again!

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

Great villa perched up on a hillside, with stunning sea view. You definitely need a hire car as nothing much within walking distance but this was clear when we booked. Three lovely bedrooms, 2 en-suite. The outdoor kitchen is a really good feature. Friendly host who was flexible with check in and out times. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Patīkama uzturēšanās dabas ieskautā teritorijā ar sakoptu dārzu, ziedošiem augiem, kokiem. Iespēja baudīt dabu, vidi un sauli dažādos diennakts laikos, tam iekārtotas omulīgas nojumes un lapenes dažādās vietās dārzā , pie baseina un pie mājas. Maltīti iespējams pagatavot pašiem virtuvē, vai uz dzīvas uguns dārzā. Vēsākam vakaram vai romantikai mājā ir iekurināms kamīns. Ļoti patika, ka ir dabas tuvums, nav pilsētas trokšņu un kņadas, tai pat laikā pilsēta Herakliona sasniedzama vien aptuveni 10-12 minūšu braucienā ar auto. Jutāmies omulīgi, saimnieki atsaucīgi un viesmīlīgi.

My husband, our 7yo daughter, and I stayed at Michaela's house in Crete for five nights in April, and we enjoyed it very much. The inside is clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely, but the outside living space - the pool area, the outside dining/grilling area, the terraces - make it special. Michaela's mother Eva, who lives next door, is an exceptionally welcoming and kind host. While she was nearby to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, there was no loss of privacy in the proximity. The house is in a quiet residential area, and we rented a car to get to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, etc., and to explore Crete in general; this was easy and worked out very well. The weather during our stay was still cool enough, especially at night, so we didn't make full use of the AC system, but the house seems well equipped to handle summer heat. All in all, we recommend and hope to stay again sometime!

We stayed at the house as a group of 5 and had the most amazing time. The house is spacious, has a big kitchen with all necessary supplies and had a lot of room to sit together, a perfect place for each time of the day. And not to forget about the amazing view!!! Worth to highlight is that there were a lot of extra supplies in the house like olive oil, raki, etc. We enjoyed that a lot. Also the outside area was cleaned everyday and the bathrooms were cleaned once during the stay. We didn’t miss a thing and can highly recommend staying in this amazing house with great hosts!!
