We absolutely loved this home! Surrounded by stunning nature, it’s full of charm and character—we didn’t want to leave. We booked for a week and spent two entire days just enjoying the house. The design beautifully blends modern comfort with historic charm. It’s stylish, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped—one of the best Airbnb kitchens we’ve seen! We cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed. George was a thoughtful host, leaving fresh fruits, snacks, juice, and a welcome bottle of raki. Bathrooms were clean and stocked; bedrooms had plenty of pillows, blankets, and even slippers—perfect for the cool floors. The outdoor space is a dream. We spent every morning and evening at the dining and pool area. Our dog loved the spacious garden and the friendly local cats. The lush greenery made it feel like home. Note: the road up is narrow and winding—classic Crete. It’s manageable (even with a big SUV), and the hilltop view is totally worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely loved this airbnb. Small deck overlooking the Chania Bay lighthouse and all the restaurants surrounding the bay. Airbnb at end and had a great restaurant (with blue chairs) that had great food. Beds were comfortable and back bedroom was very quiet as well. The owner met us at check-in and explained everything. Top deck was very nice to sit, my husband actually pulled out his laptop and worked on the table for awhile. He was in heaven. But we enjoyed sitting on small deck off living space too. Husband and myself w our two young adult children loved that we were so close to everything. Do not hesitate to book this airbnb.

We had a very nice week in the apartment on the 2nd floor. Clean, offer of intermediate cleaning and fresh towels. Kitchen equipment was sufficient for our needs (breakfast only). Questions were answered immediately. We felt very comfortable. Sunscreen at the dining area would also be desirable for a splash guard for the shower. Thank you in this way for the delicious dumplings. Unfortunately, we were unable to thank you in person. We are happy to recommend the accommodation.

We booked one of the luxurious houses, “Thalia”, for a week this summer. It was a fantastic house holding all the modern fasciitis you can ask for. The view was excellent overlooking the ocean from the mountainside where the house is located. The first evenings the very friendly host came by giving us small presents - home baked cake, olive oil, raki and homemade soap. We were 6 persons who stayed there, and everyone of us loved it. You need a car to get to the nearest shops or restaurants. We highly recommend staying in one of the Katalis’ houses.

The accommodation was fantastic. Centrally located. Spotless. Delicious snacks from mother Niki eaten. We were given a very full binder with detailed information about the amenities nearby, the must-dos. Highly recommended, even if you want to stay a little longer.

The recently renovated accommodation was a great fit for 7 people. We were 7 teenagers and we loved the place. The pool was great for cooling off while sunbathing or in the evening, the beach was a 15-minute walk away and there was nothing missing. Incredibly lovely people who made sure you didn't miss anything. Really recommended!

Jurga was very kind and accommodating. Parking on the premises might be tricky depending on the other guests' driving skills as the driveway is a bit steep. The flat isn't hyper modern but we were very comfortable and all necessities were available. Larger people might find getting in the bathroom tricky. The hammock on the balcony is a highlight. The views were fantastic especially at sunset. We had a lovely time, thank you!

We had a great stay at Katerina’s. She was very responsive and helpful, and her husband George gave us some great recommendations. The apartment is comfortable and clean, and the view is stunning. We didn’t love taking our rubbish to the on street bins, as we were 5 people in a small car with stinky trash bags and the closest bin is quite a long walk. But we would still recommend and would be happy to stay again.
