Nestling on the shores of the Beauly Firth only 10 miles from the city of Inverness, close to the NC500, Killearnan Brae is a luxury self-contained apartment. With boundless bird life including Osprey, the gardens make an ideal spot for birdwatching. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Here you will find bespoke shopping, restaurants along with the historic Priory.

Formally part of the Earl of Cromartie estate with magnificent views of the valley and less than 5 minutes walk to Strathpeffer village and amenities. Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Lovely forest walks within a few hundred yards of lodge and newly opened Peffery Way walk is a low level foot/cycle path link between Strathpeffer and Dingwall using the disused railway track.

You can expect a warm welcome when you stay with us. After parking in our small driveway or in the road outside for larger cars, you’ll enter through the outside seating area. The conservatory has a breakfast preparation area, with kettle, coffee maker, toaster and fridge. This area also has a dining table and chairs. Continental style breakfast is provided. Upstairs you’ll find a double bedroom with tv and adjacent shower room. You have sole use of all facilities during your stay.

'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. Sanitizer and hand soap provided. Take your own bedding or very basic bedding provided. No phone signal/WiFi. Sleeps 2 only from the same household, or families allowed please message before booking.

Black Plunge

Sealladh Dubh sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, there's fishing - permit required - on the doorstep,beautiful views over the Black Isle. Dingwall town centre is a 10 minute walk - aprox 1/2 mile - with many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and pubs. Both Nairn and Dornoch golf courses are within an hours drive. The North Coast 500 route also passes through Dingwall. Hill walking and nature trails are also easily accessible or if it's beaches you're after, there's an abundance.
