Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Zarzal

Place was nice and roomy. Lots of space! We had enough room for our one friends to show a few of the couples in our group how to swing dance. View in the front and back of the place were awesome, especially of the rainforest in the back! Things to know: Lots of mosquitoes, make use of the zappers provided! Air conditioner in the kitchen doesn’t do a great job of keeping that area and the dining area cool. Everywhere else, the a/c worked great! 1 bathroom has no hot water, and during our a stay, a second bathroom was also unable to get hot water. So, the only bathroom with hot water was in the master bedroom, which wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t that much of a problem except for night showering. During the day, the sun must have kept the ground so warm that the water was still lukewarm and not too cold. You may get suddenly told about scheduled landscape and other maintenance techs that you will have to leave the gate unlocked for them to get in.

The host was very responsive and the house matched perfectly to the description on the site.

Such a magical property. Well worth it! Could not recommend this stay more, was in the perfect location and our room was very comfortable. Thank you!

Daniel & Ana were very responsive. We had a few hiccups but things were taken care of promptly. The location is not on maps so there is only longitude and latitude used for directions, which after understanding it’s in 600 acres of private land it made sense. The big brown gate was easy to use and created even more security and privacy. It was great with lots of trails in the facility next door that does horse back riding, forest atv riding, restaurants, and more. We were fortunate to have bumped into Daniel and he took us on a quick ride into the acres of the estate. Incredible! We will most definitely return. Also note you are in horse territory, so there are stables everywhere including down the hills of the estate. They are all private residences so vacationers should be respectful of the people taking care of the horses. Our only minor bummer were noseeums. Mosquito spray was provided - you are in a rainforest - but honestly we didn’t have many. Definitely would recommend!

Our stay at this property was absolutely beautiful! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the pool and the incredibly comfortable bed—it made our trip even more relaxing. Even with the unexpected island-wide power outage, the experience was still amazing. The host was outstanding—super responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond, especially when my son’s birthday ice cream cake was ruined due to the outage. She made sure he still felt special, and that meant so much to us. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. We’re giving it a solid 5 stars and would definitely stay again!

Great location near shops and restaurants, with private beach access just a short walk away. The home was well-equipped for a day at the beach, clean, and comfortable. The host was responsive, and the locals were friendly and inviting can’t wait to go back.

Great place for reading and resting, with a beautiful view of the rainforest mountains, several hammocks and a consistent breeze. Lots of nearby attractions: Minutes to Luquillo beach, zip line parks, El Yunque rain forest, and a good selection of restaurants . We especially appreciated that the house had a generator, so we were not affected by the huge power outage in Puerto Rico…

We desperately needed a vacation to just unwind and focus on family. At first I was reluctant at how remote the house was, but, oh my! This home feels like we had our own paradise. I could have skipped the beaches and just stayed there all week. It was peaceful and more than what I expected! At night we would sit out on the porch and listen to the birds. When it rained you could even hear it on the roof. It was heavenly! My daughter told me tonight that it’s hard to come back to a normal hectic life after being there for over a week. The neighbors are visible, but you have more than enough privacy. The house is far enough from crazy San Juan traffic and crowds, but close enough to the best restaurants and beaches. The host was prompt in answering our questions and giving recommendations. I am super picky about where I stay and I can say that we will for sure be back. Good job on hosting and you’ve got a rare diamond property in the best little neighborhood.

Sylvia fue una hermosa estupenda, muy amable y estuvo pendiente en cada cosa que necesitaba… La casa es hermosa y tiene acceso a la playa… mi familia y yo la pasamos increíble en nuestras vacaciones, definitivamente si volvemos a Puerto Rico será a la casa de Sylvia…

This place was cuter than the pictures. Loved the pretty porch lights around the house that made finding the house easy. Had everything me and my boyfriend needed for a couple of nights in the rain Forrest. Loved the sound of the rain as well as the animals throughout the night. It wasn’t too loud and very peaceful. Only 12 minutes from the beach. And 20 from the el Yunque tour we took. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Muy cómodo, mi familia le encanta ya es la segunda vez que se visita el lugar. Muy tranquilo y la anfitriona muy atenta contesta muy rápido y es muy comprensible de verdad recomiendo el lugar al 100%. Y si Dios lo permite seguiremos visitando el lugar.

Yomary's place was excellent. It was easy to find and conveniently located near restaurants, the beach, and shops. The area felt very safe, and the accommodation had everything you need for a great stay. It was also very clean. Yomary is an outstanding host who communicated exceptionally well throughout my stay. I highly recommend her place; as a host, she deserves a perfect 10/10 rating.

For my first time in Puerto Rico and first time in a airbnb I was quite impressed would definitely recommend this place or a couple that wants to have a peaceful vacation

Wonderful villa in the hills of Canovanas. The place was comfortable for 12 people. Beautiful views and seclusion.

The entrance at the top needs a sign but other than that we had an amazing time , the place was beautiful & clean .. definitely worth it & will be coming back again ✨

Una experiencia maravillosa, no soy una persona que le guste acampar, la cabaña lo tenia todo, cada detalle para poder desconectarse con la montaña. Nuestras amistades estaban en sus campañas espectaculares y pudimos tener todas las comodidades de una lujosa cabaña. Adicional marilyn y johnny nos complacieron en todo y nos ayudaron a conseguir los mejores cupcakes del area para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi amiga. Nos sentíamos seguros y en casa! Súper recomendado

A+++++ host and best place we stayed at in Puerto Rico! Paradise!!! Super grateful for the space, it was such a joy to be here, so peaceful and beautiful! Do not hesitate to book here!!! The drive there is a little daunting but just go slow, take your time going around corners and you will be good to go.. definitely worth every penny and the drive. From the time of the check in the host made us feel like we were in our home.We spent ten beautiful days with them and we looking forward to seeing them again soon..We love the natural sound especially at night and early morning it was very relaxing and pleasant.
