This was the perfect place for our week long getaway in the Rioja wine region. Fuenmayor is convenient to all the major towns of the region and the town itself has all the amenities within walking distance that you could need. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean with easy parking right outside. Check in was a breeze and Ishmael was helpful at all times, giving recommendations and handy hints. We would be happy to return to Fuenmayor next time we are in this wonderful region.

From booking to arriving Nerea was very helpful and we had to make a few alterations of which she was great to deal with, responded to my queries and put us at ease. On arrival we were met by her Father who is a very nice man and he showed us around, what everything does and where everything was, we also asked some advice about our journey and he was very helpful, obviously a bit of a language barrier but he was patient, understanding and helpful. The house itself is set in such a beautiful location, the scenery is breath-taking and we felt at home straight away, everything you need is a drive away but easy. I would highly recommend, a superb Host and a superb property Would most defiantly look at re visiting again and would have no hesitation in booking here again.

Our stay was fabulous! The house and property were very comfortable and very clean. The place had everything we needed for 5 adults and 1 infant. The views were spectacular.

Leigham was an excellent host. Very responsive to any and all questions and was able to provide numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. “Number 8” is located in a small, walled, hilltop village with some buildings dating back to the 1100s. It is on a very quiet “street” steps away from the main square, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The apartment is on four floors allowing everybody to have their own space as needed. Three bedrooms with two washrooms … makes life easy, as we were a family of four. You drop your luggage 20 meters from your front door with free parking about 200 mètres away. Located in the heart of the Rioja a wine region, you are never far from some of the best wine in the world . In fact, you can walk to the nearest Bodega right in the village!!! If visiting the Rioja region, I recommend Leigham’s Number 8 as your home base.
