Ann-Katrin is one of the best hosts ever. The accommodation is simply the best and significantly more value than the price paid! A little slice of heaven in the middle of Sweden! We loved staying here and can only recommend everyone to come to Ann-Katrin's.

We were received in a very friendly manner. Away from the hustle and bustle around Astrid Lindgren, our accommodation was in the middle of a lonely area, where we could experience the real Lindgren world. The Norra Kvill Nature Park was quick to reach, as were the Lindgren sites. It was easy to relax on the verandas. We'd love to come back.

We stayed three families (6 adults and 6 kids under 4 yrs) in Emil’s classic red main farm house in Sjösbo. The house has 4 bedrooms, two on each floor, which fit us quite well. On top of the peaceful and beautiful setting, the best thing about the house was the possibility for many of us to eat either in the kitchen, living room and front porch depending on time of the day and weather. The trampoline was a big hit with the kids. The only drawbacks with the place is that it maybe a little too secluded, it is quite a drive to Vimmerby for groceries, and there is only one bathroom/WC. However, we had much less issues with the single bathroom than we feared. We visited Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Norra Kvills Nationalpark, Astrid Lindgrens Näs and Holmsjöns badplats.

The cottage is in a beautiful location where it is very quiet and quiet. The cottage is clean and tidy , it has a tiled bathroom with underfloor heating. Also there is a nice porch with nice garden chairs and nice views. If we are in the area again, we would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Stefan is a great host. We were in the house over Christmas and New Year's to enjoy the peace with our dogs, without much noise on New Year's Eve. Stefan always gave us firewood for the fireplace and the existing heating is sufficient for the house. Stefan was always available. You have to be aware that you are really in the middle of nowhere and there is not much to experience around winter, except walking and possibly visiting an elk park. The nearest shops are a few minutes away by car, but with a little planning you can also conjure up something in the well-equipped kitchen. A few tools such as wooden spoons or sharp knives would be an advantage. Otherwise, everything you need is there. Thanks for the wonderful time at your place!

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. We had a great week in Tobia's house. It's a beautiful place where you can unwind. The tranquility and nature are priceless. The fish were brisk, but that didn't hurt the good mood. We can recall this home to everyone.
