Glauder's Cottage, just 10 minutes from Pemberton, is the original settlers cottage built by the Glauder family in the early 1900's. The farm is unique in the Pemberton district as it is totally surrounded on all sides by vast Karri forest with two trout filled rivers running through it. Everything you need to relax. The uninterrupted ocean views are what make this the best place to stay at Windy Harbour. Relax and unwind in this front row cottage. Originally built as a shack in the 1950s it now has a few creature comforts like a gas heater, gas hot water and gas stove as the settlement has no mains power. A small solar system provides lights for the evening, also runs the TV/DVD, can also charge laptops and keeps the large 450Lt fridge/freezer nice and cold.
