Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wengen

Absolutely fantastic stay. A little away from the busier, tourist areas so was nice to enjoy the peaceful neighbourhood. Saying that it is only a 15 minute walk to the main train station. Had everything we needed for a lovely week in Interlaken. Gabrielle was fantastic at communicating beforehand so we knew what to expect and how to get in as we had a late evening arrival. Would love to stay there again should we return to Interlaken. The place was nicely decorated and spacious. Facilities were perfect for a couple.

These are the kind of places you hope to find on Airbnb. The inside is well built, and there is a cattle farm right next to it with bells and all. The greenhouse is such a cool feature… it’s like you’re outside. It rained that evening and we hung out under the greenhouse roof. Lots of beds, and a walk in shower 😁 I was so sad we only had 1 night to stay due to a train strike in France. If we are ever close to Lucerne again, we will definitely stay here.

Wow!! Une superbe demeure, très grande et confortable! En plus on a eu accès à une carte pour les autobus permettant de se rendre à la vielle ville très facilement! Sinon ça se fait quand même à pied! Vraiment un beau séjour à la villa, on peut prendre l’apéro dehors. La villa est très bien équipée pour cuisiner et Guissepe est un hôte très réactif si on a des questions, grâce à lui nous avons été à un marché d’artisans, car il a fait des recherches pour nous. La qualité et la grandeur de la villa en font un bon rapport qualité prix! Allez-y sans craintes!

Martin & Ursula were amazing hosts. They have a beautiful home in and peaceful neighborhood. They always took care of the trash and laundry when we were out exploring. Also, they gave us important information about discounts and how some places would be closed due to a holiday we did not know about. We were allowed to cook in the studio which was very helpful. Martin also offered to drive us back to the station, which was very kind.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans le logement de Carmelina et la région est juste magnifique. Il ne manquait rien. Nous avons apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée. Et merci d’accepter nos compagnons à 4 pattes.

Davide's place was wonderful - a really peaceful part of Wengen with incredible views. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony and making dinner in the evenings. It's a bit of a walk with suitcases to get to/from the train station on check-in and check-out days but otherwise the ~10min walk to town was very pleasant. Also very close to many great hikes. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Susanne’s place was wonderful. The apartment is very clean,m and it has everything you need. The area os quiet and peaceful, the scenery was breathtaking, and there is a hiking trail head right outside the property. Susanne was an excellent host, easy to contact and responsive. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in Wengen! The apartment had everything needed, was clean and tidy! Within a 2-5 min walk from restaurants, bars and markets. Chris and Vanessa were super helpful with navigating the area as you are unable to take vehicles into the city and super responsive! It is a small space in a remote city, the description was very accurate!

The apartment is a good size and immaculate inside. Had everything we needed as well as a fondue and hot stone cooking set. Sofa bed is really easy to pull out, just needs one person and no moving of cushions etc that you get with some beds. When the snow is good you ski to and from the apart fairly easily and brings you out onto the beginner piste in the centre of the resort. Short walk to the Coop supermarket, train and town. We got the late afternoon sun on the large terrace which was an added bonus! Overall a great place to stay.

Wonderful location. Greatly enjoyed the location to town/train. Very spacious and full of all that we needed. No complaints and great hosts! Highly recommend.

The home is in such a beautiful location, with the most stunning views from every single room in the home. Less than a 10 minute walk to the train station & restaurant/ grocery stores all along the same street as the home. The host is very accommodating & makes everything very easy. I highly recommend!!

Daniel’s place was great and had a nice view of mountains. We were 4 adults and felt comfortable there, though a love seat in addition to the sofa would have been nice. Other guests should know that a taxi up to the apartment is a very worthwhile expense. Also, there is no freezer or microwave in the apartment. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was wonderful to have a washer and dryer. The induction stove is great and the shower is fantastic. Communication during our stay could have been a little better, but all in all we had a wonderful time ands would come back again

This apartment is the perfect place to stay in lauterbrunnen, it had phenomenal views of the mountains, cows and goats and was a bit off the main drag so it was very peaceful. We would absolutely recommend anybody to stay there and hope to stay there in the future again!

Location location location! So convenient being right near the station, Coop and main street but most of all that breathtaking view over the Lauterbrunnen valley, which is worth every single centime! The studio is small but perfectly formed and kitted out with all you need for a comfortable and homely stay. Kathleen is a proactive and thoughtful host, providing detailed information to help you get the most out of your visit. She even suggested I consider moving my dates to earlier in October so that I would avoid the closure of the Mannlichen cablecar and much of the village’s restaurants. I was so grateful as Mannlichen, along with visiting Lauterbrunnen, Murren and Gimmewald were all absolute highlights. The village of Wengen itself is so beautiful and the perfect base for a Bernese Oberland stay. I cannot recommend it, nor this lovely studio, more highly. Thank you Michael and Kathleen and I very much hope I can return one day!

Un très bel pied à terre à proximité des sites incontournables. Possibilité de nombreuses randonnées au départ du logement. Apparemment très bien équipé avec vu imprenable sur la vallée.

별점을 5점만 주는것이 아쉬운 숙소입니다. 집 문을 열고 나가면 바로 보이는 아이거 북벽과 옹기 종기 모여있는 샬레의 모습에 매일 문 열고 나가는것이 설레였습니다. 근처 역까지 도보로 15분 정도 걸리지만 그 가는길 마져 너무 아름다워 시간 가는줄 모르고 다녔네요.☺️🩷 뿐만아니라, 호스트인 아니타씨는 매우 친절하고, 응답도 매우 빠르고, 중간 중간 어려운건 없는지 체크해 주는 세심함에 너무 감사했습니다. 체크인 하는날은 물론이고, 체크아웃을 새벽 6시에 해야하는 상황임에도 차로 기차역까지 데려다줘서 무거운 캐리어 끌고 이동하지 않아도되서 너무 좋고 편했어요.!!! 집의 컨디션도 매우 현대적이고 아늑하게 꾸며져있었고, 필요한 모든 것이 다 갖춰져있어 불편한 것 하나 없이 지낼 수 있었어요!! 특히 룸 슬리퍼 제공과 우산을 빌려주는 서비스에서도 아니타의 세심함을 또 한번 더 느꼈네요👍🏻 그린델발트에 다시 방문한다면 꼭 다시 방문할거에요!!

Die schön eingerichtete und gut ausgestattete Wohnung ist ideal gelegen für einen schönen Urlaub zu zweit im autofreien Wengen. Die ruhige Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs mit Blick auf das Lauterbrunnental und Mürren war perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

We had an amazing time. Mirjam was always responsive and helped us with our questions. The stay is located in a wonderful place surrounded by mountains.

absolutely the best airbnb that we've ever stayed in! ronny and mariana's apartment was huge, spotlessly clean, and even bigger and better than the pictures. the kitchen was well-stocked with condiments and cooking needs alike - even a fondue pot and solid fuel! it was a pity we didn't get to use the private lakefront as it was cloudy and rainy during our stay, but it would have been a perfect spot to relax if the sun was out. the only tiny downside is that the curtains were not blackout curtains, so we were woken up by the light quite early as we are light-sensitive. regardless, our whole stay was serene and peaceful. we can't stop recommending this airbnb to our friends!

Andrea's Airbnb was a nice 3-night stay for me in the middle of a much longer trip. I needed a place to decompress, do laundry, and recover from international flights and jetlag. Andrea's condo in Spiez was a spacious and convenient choice. The condo is a short walk from the picturesque town and the train station, and the neighborhood was very quiet while I was there. I agree with the suggestion to take the bus up the hill from the train station to the stop near the condo if you are carrying luggage or groceries. I also agree with reviewers that mentioned the lack of a microwave, which was OK for a short stay but I would miss if I rented for a longer time. The grocery store is near the train station and walkable. I will caution that almost everything in town is closed on Sunday, so if you arrive on a Saturday then pick up enough groceries to tide you over to Monday. There's a small convenience store at the train station if you have to buy on Sunday. I would stay here again.

Cadre calme et paisible où il fait bon se ressourcer. Le logement est très propre, spacieux, cosy, lumineux et très bien équipé. Très bons échanges avec Eva qui se montre réactive, disponible et de bons conseils. Toutes les informations d'entrée et de sortie sont claires et précises pour faciliter votre séjour. Je vous recommande cet endroit si vous voulez être sûr de découvrir les alentours en toute sérénité.

Leila’s place was the ideal spot for our group of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, great location just off the main road in Lauterbrunnen with the most amazing views day and night of the valley and waterfall. We felt right at home during our stay here.
