Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Weligama Bay

Wonderful place to stay in Unawatuna. Close to everything, easy to get bus/Tuktuk but such a peaceful environment gorgeous house and gardens. Lovely dogs who were so quiet at night. Ajith was really helpful and accommodating to extra requests. Lovely breakfast each morning.

Мы приехали в три часа ночи и нас встретили, как родных. Хозяева очень внимательные и отзывчивые. Если вам хочется, немножко пожить в тропическом лесу, понаблюдать за попугаями, белками, насекомыми, посмотреть на растения, то это отличное место. Веранда расположена, так, что открывается вид на растительность и создаётся ощущения уединённости. Завтраки заслуживают отдельного внимания, о времени можно договариваться заранее, так как нам было удобно. Всегда был вкусный цейлонский чай, фруктовые шейки, а блюда вкусные с местным колоритом, каждый день новые и разнообразные. Теперь о доме и ее хозяйке. интересный дизайн (из-за чего мы его и выбрали) нам трём друзьям было в нем комфортно и уютно. Реальность оказалась лучше картинки в приложении. Хозяйка реагировала на наши просьбы, все наши нужды были удовлетворены. Интика окружила нас заботой и вниманием. Мы готовили ужины сами, либо на гриле во дворе, либо на кухне дома. Вечера проводили на веранде. Убирают дом, по нашему желанию, так же меняют полотенца. Есть стиральная машина, Хозяйка с удовольствием покажет, как пользоваться техникой. И высушит вещи. Что нас очень порадовало, так это пляж. Широкая береговая линия, отличная температура воды и минимум людей. В отличии от другого конца пляжа. Пешком 12 минут, нам очень нравились эти прогулки, есть возможность посмотреть на настоящую жизнь местных жителей. До фруктового рынка 10 минут. До рыбного рынка 15 минут. Мы очень остались довольны и расположением и ценой и конечно качеством. Спасибо большое за гостеприимство!

Liegt oben auf einem Hügel. Das Schwimmbad für sich zu haben ist Luxus! :) Ruhige Umgebung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Würde jederzeit wiederher kommen. Jacky ist super freundlich und hilft bei allem weiter. Roller, Laundry... Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt!

We had a lovely stay in Darshaka’s property. His Mum, Veneetha cooked us varied, delicious breakfasts each day. The whole family were very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed a chilled break through this part of our journey in Sri Lanka. Thank you 😊

Chaminda and his family are truly beautiful. I came as a guest and left as family. They are kind, friendly, attentive and true in their genuine hospitality. The room they have is great and the surroundings are fabulous. 5 mins to beautiful beaches and 20 mins inland to an amazingly peaceful temple set within the jungle. I was lucky to have a group of semi local lads staying near me who work locally on a site and whom were so friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience Sri Lanka and the heart of the people who make this country so beautiful and then stay here, for it is a special place owned by a magical family 🙏

Lovely welcom drink and really nice family was the first impression. Room and bed were good and bathroom clean.

Wir waren 2 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Wir wurden sehr liebevoll empfangen, sodass wir uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Der Gastgeber und seine Frau waren sehr hilfsbereit und man hat gemerkt, dass sie Freude an der Vermietung des Airbnbs haben. Wir haben ein wunderbares Frühstück erhalten, welches unsere Erwatungen mehr als übertroffen haben. Ebenso war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich! Danke für dieses wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

This awesome house is run by a very sweet family who are easy to communicate with and always do their best to help. The location is in a very green and quiet area away from the hustle and bustle with a beautiful Buddhist temple and green rice fields nearby with lots peacocks (and all kinds of birds) around. I stayed at this house for two months and it has been a delight.

Aufenthalt bei sanath war richtig toll und wir haben uns gleich wie zu hause gefühlt. Sanath hat auch für uns gekocht was sehr lecker war und immer hilfsbereit auf fragen. Das frühstück gabs direkt am strand. Allem in allem ein paar schöne tage. Danke dir und deiner frau.

Place was great. A clean and beautiful house. Very peaceful surrounding and very close to a nice clean beach Luma beach. Tuk tuk easily available from the stay to anywhere in Galle. Amazing Breakfast and very nice hosts. Recommended.

Le logement était conforme à la description. La vue de la terrasse est magnifique ! Celle ci est partagée mais ça n’a pas été gênant. Le personnel est adorable, toujours à votre disposition et le petit déjeuner servi est délicieux et copieux. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter :)

Perfect place for a little romantic getaway in the beautiful Galle fort! You couldn't ask for a better location, kinder hosts, and a more delicious breakfast. Highly recommend staying at the Dutch Wall:)

Villa Sublime lives up to its name. We spent a month in Sri Lanka travelling around AirBnB's and this was my favourite. The location is convenient but yet you feel a million miles away from other people. The grounds and the accommodation are immaculate and tasteful. Darshini is a great cook and so obliging, we were there to chill and we ate at the villa most days so we really availed ourselves of her wonderful Sri Lankan food. The pool was fabulous and it's so much fun to float about and watch the monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and birds. I would go back in a heartbeat, and I'm fussy. Highly recommended.

Naman’’s place is in a perfect location to explore the fort. Everything is within walking distance including bus and train stations. The staff are so kind and friendly and we appreciated everything they did for us. We stayed for drinks on the rooftop and then dinner which was delicious as was breakfast. We can certainly recommend this Airbnb to all wishing a friendly comfortable stay in Galle Fort

Great location right near the beach. Lots of food places around and the staff was so friendly. Room was very tidy .. perfect for our few days in mirrisa

I had a great stay with my parents at Sumimal resort, the location is great and you can explore Matara as well as Mirissa from this place. It is at a walking distance from the protected turtles beach. The place is clean and it is as it is in the pictures. On arrival fresh coconut water is awesome. I ate at the resort itself, home cooked traditional meal, it was delicious and I am already waiting to plan my stay again whenever I return to Sri Lanka next time. Bandu homestay/guesthouse is truely unique ... beautiful artistically painted quirky rooms & bathrooms/balconies set in a verdant lush garden of tall multi storied plants that's truely awe-inspiring conveying a natural peaceful ambience with its mangos, birds, squirrels, peacocks & even monkeys ... I couldn't stop taking photos of the place. Bandu is happy to sit & chat with you about Sri Lanka with excellent English & his wife makes the best tea in the morning & I was lucky enough to be offered curry & roti on occasion. Unawatuna is not my favourite beach but this is my "favourite" Airbnb & I will return in the future

We had another wonderful stay in the villa this year. This time I didn't book directly by the sea, but a little further back. The room was very big and the two beds were very comfortable. The terrace was a dream, where I could enjoy my coffee every morning at 7 a.m. with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was as delicious as always and really plentiful (great Sri Lankan breakfast on request) ❤️ The whole team is as helpful and friendly as always. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. Thank you, dear Maria, to you and your fantastic team.🙏❤️

Ich war einen ganzen Monat hier in der Forrest Villa. Wer Ruhe sucht und sich gerne in der Natur aufhält ist hier genau richtig. Ein Kolonialhaus voller Kunstgegenstände und einer äusserst interessanten Bibliothek. Der Strand und der See ist innert 15 Minuten mit dem Tuk Tuk erreichbar. Das Tuk Tuk kann jederzeit gerufen werden und ist innerhalb von 20 Min. hier. Das Schwimmbad lädt zum verweilen ein. Affen, Pfauen, Schmetterlinge, Libellen, Flughunde und viele weitere Tiere sind zu beobachten. Nicht zu vergessen Freddie der Hund und mehrere liebevolle Katzen. Guy ist jederzeit da, beantwortet und hilft in jeder Situation. Die Angestellten sind äusserst nett und aufmerksam. Es wird ein hervorragendes Frühstück serviert mit selbst gebackenem Brot von Guy und den frischen Eiern von den Hühnern hier auf dem Gelände. Alles in allem ein wundervoller, unvergesslicher Ort zum verweilen.

Great place. Everything is new and nice. Great shower, bathroom and balcony. The map locater took me to the wrong street so be cautious of that. Breakfast is not included (not that it is advertised) but there are many nearby options. Shady Lane has some of the best breakfast I have ever had.

Just a great place! The host speaks English fluently, and the service is exceptional.
